The creativity in championships back then was amazing. I wish that creativity still existed in wwe instead of big Wwe logo belts that are all different colors, but otherwise are all the same. Great video!
Same here, bring back the Winged Eagle!
Gold. Shiny. A sign of stature. Yup! Sunstreaker would proudly wear a belt of this caliber! Of course he'd never let anyone touch it, and only look at it from a distance. Wouldn't want to mess up that fine paint job you know!
Great video Michael!!
"Hey watch the belt...I just had it chromed!" :D
Thanks Scott!
That is exactly what he would say!! : D
Those belts look great and that custom NWA/WCW you did looked good I thought.Nice touch using that classic music in the background as well.
Thanks! :D
Just received my belts, worth every penny!
Im not much for custom Hasbro stuff but, I had to have these. Good people too. Some post office ripped my envelope (purposely I think) and the ic and tag belts fell out. They sent me replacements free of charge
This is amazing!!! THANK YOU for bringing this to my attention. These look fantastic! I have always wanted an IC belt (the greatest wrestling championship/title of all time) and tag belts for my Hasbro WWF figures. My original childhood collection is only two figures from being complete: the 1-2-3 Kid and the red Hulk Hogan mail-away have eluded me all these years. If anyone is willing to sell them loose and in good condition for a reasonable price (i.e., under $100), please let me know. 😊
That is awesome you made your own belt when you were a kid. A friend, and I use to do the same thing. We made belts, and costumes for our wrestlers.
Thanks! It was always fun to be creative and customize accessories for toys. It's cool to see someone take it to another level and mass-produce these items for fans worldwide. :D
They look fantastic. Great demonstration and review.
Thank you! :D
Wrestling Figure Workshop has just released the yellow IC belt the Warrior had.
I Love it. I bought One a few weeks ago and it fits perfect
Those are some really nice belts! By the way, you did a really good job on the custom "Big Gold Belt".
Sure are! And thanks!
My favorite video of all so far
Awesome video - I loved all the old clips! This makes me wish I had purchased figures back in the day, so I could put these belts on them.
Thanks! Check out the new Retro Action figures by Mattel, they look just like the old Hasbro ones and there are some legends in the line like Ric Flair and Warrior.
Thanks for the tip !
These are cool
For anyone who has never been on wrestling figure workshop I advise you to check it out the galoob custom’s on there are awesome great video my friend
Thanks Michael! Their belts certainly class up the old small WCW figures.
I'm a bit impressed with your WWF trivia, like the Rocker's title win that never happened, and the old Warrior IC title strip. I'm 43 so this was my childhood. I think the old eagle belt was the best looking belt of any of them.
Thanks! And I agree!
I have a question (off topic). Do you remember the Sky Commanders toy line? It was one of the more unique concepts and one of my favorites. I haven't seen them in your collection, so what is your opinion on them, if you remember them?
Don't know much about them, never collected them or saw the show.
It was pretty decent. They were all based on using zip lines giving them a very unique feel and design. I doubt it would be worth your time to collect but it's worth taking a look see. Thanks for the reply.
So will these work on the Mattel retro line?
Yup!
I wish I still had my toys.
SPEAK TO ME WARRIOR!....SNURRRRRRR!!!
5:38 where did you get that sweet Macho Man robe?!
Ralph's Figure Clothing. :D
