I've had a root canal at age 9, and I'm 31 now. My dentist said I might need to redo the teeth, and the shading of the tooth is now looking a shade darker than my other teeth. I'm assuming it's decaying. I am currently starting to have health issues. So, would you recommend I just remove the whole teeth, and would that procedure be too risky? The teeth is the fifth tooth from the middle of my teeth to the right.
The teeth get dark because the inside of the tooth is filling up with bacteria and fungus. I think doing another root canal will not last that long and the pathogens in the tooth can cause jaw and systemic infection. Many people choose to do implants in place of failing root canals. The implants have a better long term prognosis. Maybe a better investment.
Hi there, thank you for your time and care. I just had #13 removed today. Root canal extraction. I am not sure he did the periodontal ligament removal. He just pulled and was done. What should I do? I was thinking of calling tomorrow and asking if he did do that. My root canal was hurting. Radiating pain up to my brain and other side of my mouth. Same side. My breasts began to hurt also. They still hurt a bit. After I ate some Manuka honey yesterday my breasts felt better. Not sure if it is bacteria that spread to my breasts but they hurt and acted up when my root canal began to. I've had the root canal since I was 17. I'm 32. So what can I do? If you may help me please? With some knowledge or insight...I hope to not run into cavities from no cleaning or anything. Just the extraction is all he did which worries me. Nothing else. Thank you 🌹💌

Once the tooth is out it is best to see how it heals rather than going back in. We use ozone, PRF and remove the PDL

I cannot deny or confirm that, but we do not see problems in our patients who have received zirconia implants.

It can react to anything but most people accept zirconia and high grade titanium
What about bone graft?? Is it needed when the root canal is removed? And is it safe (particulate bone)?
Grafting should always be done with extractions. There many different kinds of grafting including PRF.

Implants are expensive but there’s no better investment than in yourself and in particular, your health
Did you get it done? There is a holistic dentist in Mexico that is more affordable. It’s worth the trip.
