    This conversation with Beata Javorcik is the second episode of a series of interviews conducted by the ERC Advanced program 20th Century International Economic Thinking.
    Beata Javorcik is Chief Economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London. She is on leave from the University of Oxford, where she is the first woman to hold a Statutory Professorship in Economics.
    The ECOINT goal is to engage with international economic thinkers who work at Intergovernmental Organisations and show the range of ideas that have fashioned economic thinking and policy since the 20th Century.
