    This is not a charger you should use. you have to think about safety. an automatic intelligent charger with over current, volt protection is recommended!

      Oh yes, but you forgot about temp control! The most important for Lithium and likely for any chem to not do explosion, as well polarity check. 😺
      It must be better done with MCU and PWM pumping at least, ideally with ΔV control. 😼
      I'm totally understand channel author, but spreading ignorance not help anyone, be it better a incourage to learn! 😺

    How many of you have built this ? How do you lower cut off voltage? It charges my 18650 to 4.5 volts

      Instead of resistors R5 and R6, you put a 10 K potentiometer. Adjust the cut-off limit from there, using an adjustable voltage source adjusted exactly to the voltage you want to switch to.

      @@ashtonmclaughlin6106 The voltage setting threshold is made with resistors R5 and R6. Adjust from there.
      We should also have a limitation of the charging current, this does not exist on the diagram. If we have a very discharged battery, the initial charging current is high and is not limited by anything.

      ypu can't charge a 3S battery (= 4.2*3 = 12.6V ) with USB charger :. It's only 5 volts .... You must use a boost step-up converter for this ! A BMS is madatory !

      @@renelefebvre53 use a rise converter - it is necessary, but this will not be enough. for the 3S scheme, the use of balancing is mandatory. so that the batteries are not discharged to 0 volts, a BMS is needed. recharging also needs BMS.

    Sayın zafer yıldız kardeşim iki adet şarj kesmeli 3.7 v devresini yaptığınız gibi monte ettim kendim TV tamircisiyim hata olayı yok ama devrelerin ikisinde çalışmadı şarj ediyor ama kesinlikle şarjı kesmiyor

      I know the question was a bit old, but maybe it's useful to someone... It can work at any voltage, the maximum is in the TL431 datasheet and the same for the mosfet. To do the same at other voltages, the voltage divider formed by R6 and R5 must be recalculated
