I don’t use End to End Blocks. I just feel that having a Start and End Tie in the same spot, creates an unsightly Tie. I use individual “Nested Blocks”, which also offer lots of forgiveness as you rehoop. Each Block is curvy around the edges, so the next Block just nests beautifully. I use Ghost Templates to line up each new Block. Sometimes I create a long Basting stitch to the First stitch for those of us who have multi-needles that don’t have a “Needle Down” that will stay down. Here is a link to the Nested Blocks. The Circles are my favorite so far. I also like the Complex Swirls. I used a large magnetic hoop and quilted with Soft & Stable with no problems. The bag I made was just in our local county fair and the judge couldn't believe that someone really made it! She must not be a bagmaker!

I use the Dime magnetic hoop on the Brother V3 and it works a treat, much easier than the regular hoop

I've tried this exact technique. It was terribly frustrating. Its very machine dependent - if your hoop will handle the hooping, you're golden. If it won't..... you're outta luck. And my hoop will not handle this thickness. It was all I could do to frustratingly get through the piece, it was 1.5 yards. The question about floating was not answered, and might be useful, but haven't yet tried it yet.

I too am interested in a video on this technique. However, the sound and quality make it to hard to follow. Please consider doing another one with better video .
    Thank you!

I found this tutorial interesting. However the sound and some of the vision was not that clear. Love how you are doing different tutorials. Thanks Annie.
