1:38 gerard says they started in (January 2002), so does that means that they didn't actually started the day 9/11 happened? Also, does that means they didn't actually performed on October 2001?
9/11 was the inciting incident, not the day it began. as far as i’m aware gerard wrote skylines about a week later but the band didn’t properly start until ray, mikey and otter were all involved
@@arcadianico the reason i say this is because in the 20th anniversary of 9/11, my chemical romance posted a photo of them saying something like "so you guys know what this means, today is mcr's 20th anniversary"
The moment 9/11 happened was when Gerard got the idea for mcr. Therefore the birth of MCR. It never meant they performed right after
