If you’d like fishing and come to Northeast Tennessee, you would love to go fishing at Little Wilbur. I hope one day you can.

Definitely have to check it out. Love me some trout! We have what they call the "FINS" program here where some parks that have lakes/ponds are stocked twice/yr. I believe what isn't caught normally dies out because of the water temp. I've caught several small rainbows at a park in Madisonville. Makes for some good eatin'! Thanks for sharing, Chris!

I think Charlie and I have some similarities.... I would Love to rent a houseboat in Florida on the St Johns River and stay at the crystal springs. As far as PCB goes, we stayed at Splash on the beach because our daughter was you young last time we were there. We used to do Destin and Ft Walton and Navarre Island. We would typically have stayed in Gulf Shores at the Light House condos and yes Charlie, there is plenty of fishing. The past couple years we have gone to Florida Keys, stayed in Marathon Key. Last year we actually flew out of Nashville to Miami and rented a car then drove to the house we rented on the beach in Marathon Key. Daughter had graduated High School and She wanted to Take a friend with her, and she wanted to fly because my wife and daughter and her friend had never flown on a plane.
As a child my family would tent camp in PCB at Magnolia Campground on the Bay. It is gone now and covered with condos.
I'm trying to set a trip to Reelfoot lodge with a lifelong friend in the next couple of months.
HEY SO!!!!! When I subscribed, I was #220 now y'all are up to 523!!!!! Way to go.
Y'all travel safe and take care.

I have an Uncle that was stationed in Jacksonville, Fl. As a kid, that's where we would vacation every year. I remember trips to St. Augustine, New Smyrna and Clear Water.
Since then, all our vacas have been on the Gulf...Destin, PCB, I've tried to talk Kim into a week at Navarre. I spent one week there several years ago and really liked the area.
We've done a couple charters on the American Spirit. But mostly just Fishin' on the beach.
We Would love to visit the Keys!! We've talked about it many times. Maybe one day!
You going to Reelfoot for the Crappie?

@@MickyC0601 Definitely know how that is. Hope you enjoy yourselves. Beautiful area. Don't know what your plans are for dinner, but, Boyette's was recommended to us and we wish we had checked it out when we were there. It was always packed when we passed by. Be safe!
