Thank you. Yes, I have been super busy in my real job lately so quite bad at getting the Patreon updated. But I hope to fix that in the months ahead, so please stick around!
Hey -- sorry for taking so long to respond! And thank for the compliment. I fear sometimes that people equate "a sound" with "a set of plugins". How I got this to sound this way is basically through EQ. Big, full orchestrations like this need a lot of broads EQs to make room for all the instruments to be heard. There isn't really a magic plugin for that. So I'm using FabFilter Pro Q 3 (a lot) for my EQ'ing. I have a Seventh Heaven reverb on my instrument busses. And all I have on the master is a little EQ and this sweet free plugin called Fresh Air, to "brighten" the mix a bit. There's honestly not as lot of secret sauce to this. I always have my reference tracks loaded, and trust my ears to sculpt the sound I'm going for.
@@homemadestudios8064 Strings are a combo of Spitfire libraries and Cinematic Studio Series. I've recently added Pacific Strings Ensemble from Performance Samples to my template. Brass is from Spitfire and Cinesamples. Percussion is Spitfire (Hans Zimmer), Cinesamples (Cineperc) and Strikeforce.
