    When I was a young Firefighter we had a structure fire down a driveway like that we ended up pumping out of a pond plus relay pumping to the fire. 1200 feet of 5inch LDH layed down flowing 2000 gallons a minute for a barn fire. It wasn't actually a barn this found out later it was a storage building for a pools and spa contractors. A unregistered business with 2000 lbs of chlorine. We stopped pumping out of the pond when we found this out. 26 firefighters when to the Hospital for chlorine gas exposure.

      Tapon Espantapajaritos Well, its a question that can only be answered by a Realtor, its like me asking you how much for 747 landing gear.
      I have no idea, it depends on who is selling it.
      That land could be $150k or 20k if its not buildable, it could be $500k if its in an expensive area.
      It could be $1.2mm if its got a lake on it.
      Its not that our answer is unhelpful, its that you are asking the wrong people.
      If you want to price out land, you need to talk to someone thats actually selling land.

    Chris a question for you sir. I live in Oklahoma in an older neighborhood, I have a bar ditch in front of my house. What I would like to do is have the ditch excavated and a concrete or corrugated pipe put in for the drainage. The ditch is about sixty feet in length with concrete pipes on either end that go under the driveways. The concrete pipes are about 12" diameter. This will make my front yard much usable and easier to mow. What I am wondering is what you think a little project like that should cost?

      @thefrub 5 років тому

    Depending in your state laws, you are opening yourself or construction company to lawsuits if that's a public road. You don't have traffic control setup. Yes even if you are working on nonpaved areas inside a public row you need traffic control. Also missing reflectorized delineators to warn public of ditch. If no warning someone could drive off road to fix flat tire or other issue and drive into the ditch. This potential could scare them and over correct flipping their vehicle. Also missing storm water pollution prevention devices. Private roads usually don't have pavement marketing.

    here you dont dare play on the road right away like that unless you have deep pockets, or you have a permit ti install a new drive way enterence, weather it is a secondary road or just a back country road, it is public oad right awat 66 feet from center of road out to both sides, the town ship looks after all the ditchs, the MTO LOOKES AFTER ALL HYW AND SECONDARY ROADS, INCLUDING REPLACING YOUR DRIVE WAY CALVETS AFTER YOU GOT A PERMIT AND INSTALLED A NEW PIPE ops caps.. once it rot out, its up to the MTO or town ship to replace after that
