Thank you for the words of encouragement!🥰 My journey to learning how to start plants from seeds has been a long one…lol! Failed for years, but I think I finally got it…woohoo!😁
Thank you!❤️ Starting the majority of my annuals this season from seed was a fun experience that enjoyed very much and will definitely repeat again. There are so many other flowers still on my list to try😊
its beautiful, your garden is my cup of tea... what did you use when you first built where all your pots are sitting? what type of weed block did you use? thank you
What a coincidence...... I'm experiencing the same issue with my Violas and pansies. Grew them last year for the first time. They popped up again in many of my deck planters so I consolidated into one. They just got leggy but I was so surprised they made it through that intense heat of the last couple weeks. Anyway I just chopped them back and was wondering if you could let me know how yours did? Thank you so much💚
I just moved to my home and I am establishing my garden. I planted a climbing rose, two knockout roses and a hybrid tea rose - all four are riddled with sawflies 🙄 - I'm treating them with insecticide and neem oil. How do you deal with pests on your roses? Thank you for sharing your garden by the way! I absolutely love it!
Thank you for watching my video! ❤️❤️❤️ I normally try my best to avoid using chemicals in my garden as I get quite a bit of pollinators that come to visit. From my personal experience, sawflies will create unsightly holes on the leaves but this does not harm the plant in any way. If the damages are just cosmetic in nature, I will leave it be. If the pest damages are harmful to the plants or if it starts to impact the flower buds etc, I normally spray with a homemade spray of neem oil mix. I hope this helps! Happy gardening!🥰
I added mine last year, so far it has not flower for me yet. I’m still sitting on the fence whether I will keep the flowers or not when it blooms. I had no idea they spread so fast…lol! Good thing though, they are easy to remove if/when they grow too large.😊
I tried that for awhile but it was still way too messy for me. I was still constantly re-arranging and propping it up, trying to keep it in check. I don’t particularly like plants that require too much maintenance as they take away my time from other gardening chores.
Hi there, I do apply fertilizer to my garden. I use a slow release fertilizer which I sprinkle in late March/early April. I usually do another round around mid June. For roses I use a slow release fertilizer specific for roses. I hope this helps!
Beautiful garden! My location is zone 6a as well. I am wondering if you have to do something to protect your potted roses to overwinter them? Can the branches survive the harsh winter?
Hi there, I am very new to overwintering roses in pots. Last year was my first year. I stored them in my unheated garage. They all survived. I hope that helps!
All different sizes depending what type of plants I am planting. Plants that are expected to grow quite large will be planted in a bigger pot. Plants that are on the smaller size will be planted in a smaller pot. I hope this helps!
Love Song was definitely one of the possibility I thought of but because of the characteristics I’ve read for both Love Song and Poseidon, I felt mine leaned more towards Poseidon. Anyhow, whatever her name is, she’s definitely one of my favourites in my garden. Thank you for taking the time to leave me a comment!
Trust me you don't have to worry about the Wisteria sending it's energy to the roots. I had to dig one out and I will never fully get rid of it. The roots go out 15 feet from the plant and some are 6 inches in circumference. I will never totally be rid of it and it suckers everywhere. The roots become like those of a tree.
@@lionolee5480 I've also read this about wisteria too. In my case, to prevent the plant spreading else where, I usually will remove all spent blooms before they are able to make mature seed pods.
@@lionolee5480 I would not plant it near a foundation. This information can be found on the internet. The seeds weren't my problem as it rarely flowered due to my cold winters. It's roots produce suckers and if you ever need to remove it, be prepared to dig deep and wide and get rid of every piece of root. Vicki
Wow, over an hour of video and that is what you picked up on and that’s what you CHOSE to remarked on. NOBODY else cared. Anyways, I’m very new to doing videos, I still get very nervous. This was one of those days. If you’re here to poke fun, DON’T. Not appreciated!!!😡

Beautiful! Unfortunately, my garden just got nailed with 2'" hail. :(

That painted daisy is a beautiful colour. Why not use it amongst other plants that will prop it up for you?

Wow gorgeous garden. I'm curious do you fertilize your roses and if so what do you use? ❤🌹

Please tell us where you got that globe plant cover that covers your pansies (it’s at 1:18)
I purchased this black metal ornamental piece at Home Sense. They come in different sizes and also different colours.
What size pots do you use?

I think your purple rose is called love song

Oh my gosh, you are scaring me now…lol! Is it THAT hard to get rid of? I hope it’s not going to cause future problems to my house/foundation. Yikes!
@@ContainerGardeningWithAmyYou can read about it on the internet and depending on its age, yes it gets that bad. Vicki
I love wisteria but I heard it’s very invasive so I’m scared to plant it .

RutgersUniversity doesn’t recommend barberry bush they attract rodents and ticks. And can be Invasive.
Beautiful tour. I had to turn off the volume because it drove me crazy that you were referring to flowers as she. It would sound better. Just saying.
