Interesting facts about apples and Kazakhstan: There an interesting theory that the biblical lost paradise was on the territory of modern Kazakhstan. According to tradition, the forbidden fruit in paradise was apple. DNA analysis carried out by scientists in 2010 confirmed that the wild apple Malus sieversii, growing in the mountains of southern Kazakhstan, is the ancestor of almost all varieties of cultivated apple trees. These apples from Kazakhstan spread to other parts of the world through the Silk Road. In addition, the word “alma” in Kazakh language means both the name of the fruit “apple” and the prohibition “don’t take” 😄. See the book “Apples Come from Kazakhstan” by known British writer and journalist Christopher Robbins. By the way, in 2008 this book was included in the short list of the Authors Club award for the best travel book in the UK (titled “In Search of Kazakhstan”) and in the category “Best Travel Books” in the USA (titled “Apples come from Kazakhstan” ).

@acelgallander2497 I think that’s actually a very wrong statement. We also didn’t know what to expect from Kazakhstan and it wasn’t because of a lack of wanting to learn… In Europe we haven’t really heard so much about Kazakhstan or Central Asia in general. By the way, the tribe "Kozha" is not part of the Kazakh zhuz system. Kazakhs are divided into three zhuzes, but there are clans that do not belong to any of them. The Kozha are descendants of Arab missionaries, Sahaba (companions of the Prophet), and religious figures. Another group that is not part of the zhuzes is the "Tore" clan, descendants of Genghis Khan, who were the ruling caste until the 19th century. One day I was working at tattoo studio and saw a tourist with back tattoo , I noticed a lot of tourists like to make them for like memories. This girl gave same vibes as you. You're invited if you want. There are 2 masters including me speaking several languages. Also I don't know if you were notified on these things but locals aren't educated enough on type of vegan food so most of the cakes including medovik are made of using eggs and milk products. Kurt is also made of milk it's like dried sour cheese,it's our national cuisine.
Ahh you work in a tattoo studio, we would love to visit, send us a message on Instagram! 😊 And we are vegetarian so we eat milk, eggs & cheese, just no meat or fish! 😊
You said you want to tour around Kazakhstan in winter, did you made any plans already or need any advice. Drop you an email with invitation to guest lecture to tourism classe next week. Would be glad if you can share your opinion about accomodation and experience in the country. For the second time not what expected naming in video, interested to know what was the original expectations.
Thanks, good content you have, with positivity and made with taste and meaning. I know my ancestors to the 16th knee :) Our ancestors are nomads, so they knew about biotechnology from animal husbandry practices. We also have a tradition not to show newborns to outsiders until 40 days - apparently, they realised from their own experience that a child's immunity should be strengthened..... But this didn't extend to relatives..... Although it was explained as ‘protection from the evil eye’ - but it had to be explained somehow, back then nobody had medical science about immunity..... They somehow intuitively realised this problem of development of children's organism...
We are so glad to hear that you enjoy the content we create, we absolutely love creating it! This is so incredibly interesting and we would live to learn more about this! 🙏🏼
Almaty has a different feel to Astana: lived in, for the lack of a better word. It's walkable, public transport is ok, and greenery is everywhere. That's the first thing I i notice when I come to Almaty from Astana: the oomph of tree crowns in the wind and the chirping of birds.

Thank you for learning Kazakh words and phrases, your reactions made me think it’s really DAMDI! 😍😍😍
Since the country has been influenced by Russian culture it’s common for us to mix two different languages. I don’t know why but we tend to speak in Russian to Foreigners because we think you won’t understand any Kazakh words.
But again thank you for approaching people in our native language ❤
List of places in Almaty:

Great video, guys😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much 😀
Such a huge respect to our culture. Thank you for learning kazakh words and trying our national dishes. Unfortunately, some tourists just go with Russian, and forget that we are Kazakhs above all, that's because of kazakhs own fault. You are a lovely couple, hope you will visit many wonderful countries together and will enjoy each others company for long years.
Ahh thank you so much for this! Kazakhstan is a wonderful country and we want to discover as much as possible and will always feel at home here! ✨🇰🇿✨
Ahh thank you so much, we for sure will come back often, we love it here! ✨
And we are vegetarian so we eat milk, eggs & cheese, just no meat or fish! 😊
Hey, guys! I will be happy to watch your channel.
Hey! That’s amazing, enjoy! ✨
Amazing people, be sure to come with dreams! 🤗💙💙
Aww that’s so sweet! ✨
We would love to explore more of Kazakhstan/ Central Asia during winter!
Please do drop us an email and we will see what we can do! 😁
You are so sweet! Hope you enjoyed your stay in Almaty and met nice people!
Aww thank k you so much, we had an amazing time! ✨

✨🙏🏼✨
Aww thank you! 🙏🏼
Thanks, good content you have, with positivity and made with taste and meaning.
I know my ancestors to the 16th knee :)
Our ancestors are nomads, so they knew about biotechnology from animal husbandry practices.
Great video
Thank you so much! ✨
Almaty has a different feel to Astana: lived in, for the lack of a better word. It's walkable, public transport is ok, and greenery is everywhere. That's the first thing I i notice when I come to Almaty from Astana: the oomph of tree crowns in the wind and the chirping of birds.
We agree, they are very different cities! We had fun in both! 😁
What is the Almaty Apport? And thank you? We definitely do love it here and will always come back! ✨
