Its not just the Dogon too, all our ancestral tribes in Africa had this knowledge. The Igbo name for Sirius B is Onu Akwu. I gathered that information from a spiritual teacher and artist/content creator named Sirius Ugo Art. The invisible star would probably have been common knowledge if our people never became so obsessed with Abrahamic religions, the Dogons did a good job by self isolating.

Very fascinating and uplifting indeed. Their knowledge about particle physics is even more awe inspiring. The instability caused by various conquests into Africa over the past 1500 years is likely to blame for many ideas being lost. I believe we likely shared the knowledge with the invaders, leading to their technological advancement. We descend from a great people.

I learned about this back in the 1980’s! Thank you! I have a question for you. Everybody knows about William Shakespeare from England. But not too many people know about it was a black African, that new more words than William Shakespeare. I don’t know his name or the tribe that he comes from?
Who knows? William Shakespeare might have even been a negro. The colonisers have often represented negro people as if they were yt. Even to having a paragraph clearly describing a negro person but accompanied by the picture of a caucasian. SMH!
Shakespeare was his pen name he used with his writings. His real name was William Tyndale.. He was burned on a cross for illegally publishing the bible in 1522 to 1535. The bible was only to be used by aristocracy. And yes he was a black man.
Your video's have such insightful information including books to read on the subject..that many other content providers never include..I saw a short documentary awhile back here on You-Tube did by a South African, white film maker on the different shamans, including South Africa.in it they showed a shaman going into a trance state in doing so was able to traverse the stars & heavens.. Their is also individuals who use what is called " remote viewing "in which they can see over distance & time..Some of these people with this capabilities are hired by the US military for spying..So I'm sure you have such gifted people in Africa with these gifts as well...

So them not knowing how the Dogon came to this understanding of Siris B is understandable..Secret Societies in many African cultures is guarded from outsiders & even among many members of their own ethnic group.Just like in ancient Kemet many go through years of training in mysteries schools to master this occult knowledge, even with a oath of death if they reveal this knowledge outside of the group. Blacksmiths are . one such group..are feared & revered at the same time. Another aspect is psychedelics are also employed to reach these mystical states ,like among many groups of shamans around the world.. So as people of African descent we need to take a wholistic view for consciousness is not just about the brain ,but is connected to the world & the universe..which our ancestors knew very well..

I always challenge any ‘invention’ by europeans, they definitely are not the first to invent anything. I would be willing to bet that a form of telescopes has been created by previous civilizations, then knowledge of the cosmos were found and shared to last.
