This was very beautiful to see and experience. I felt the appreciation of traditional Indian homes that I usually see in Indian movies but not in Architectural Digest (homes of Indian celebrities) and I felt this was somewhat of a very artistic & authentic blend of both worlds. Very unique.
You have an amazing sense of balance within a maximalist decor, Mohini. That is a gift to have. Most people in their enthusiasm merely place decor objects here and there and present everything all at once. This whole decor is gorgeously Indian but the colors are all muted in their richness. Utterly lovely!
The ivory background wth warm colours, big glass windows which allows a lot of natural light,... n beautiful brass ware, candles, n fresh flowers... Loved your living space, specially the swing area n the jharokha.
