- As far as days at Shipstern go, Sunday the 28th of May, 2023 was one of the best. See what it's like to jump off the rocks on a 20 foot day. Enjoy the sweet original sounds of Dusty Rusty on the banjo. Try to imagine what some of these wipeouts feel like.... Yeeeowwwwww

Shipsterns is I think my favourite wave to watch, it’s just so gnarly with that little step but so pretty too. Great music choice for this video really captures the essence of this kind of surfing
Just amazing. Anyone who has surfed and felt the power of any wave will have nothing but repect for these guys. Bravo!

That was heavy! I noticed a new technique that some of those guys are implementing to deal with the step. They anticipate the step and then kind of ollie off. They catch more air, but are able to have more control on the landing. Awesome video!!!
