The last couple of years is the first time he's had unity behind him internally. Now he just has to fight fan expectations.

The recent lawsuit by PSU's team doctor sure isnt a good look for Franklin. I would imagine this will have some effect in recruiting. Curious how Franklin will respond to this lawsuit and all that came out about him disregarding medical advice for players by doctors. Not wanting weak/sprained ankles taped because it covers up the Nike Check is nuts. Looking forward to hearing his response.

Penn State will finish middle of the pack at very best. There's no way they will ever compete with USC, Oregon, UCLA, OSU and Michigan. We could easily finish as bad as having a 3 or 4 win season. There's no future for PSU anymore.

Preseason, everyone was PSU third behind Oregon and OSU. The rest of what was the Pac10 really isn't that good. USC stinks, and UCLA is worse. Who do you think is beating PSU outside of OSU and Oregon (who PSU doesn't play). Are you thinking Iowa or Wisconsin? I'm not a PSU homer. Its just that outside of OSU and Oregon (maybe) the conference doesn't have any other teams that are going to compete at the highest level.
Josh Pate is a better supporter of PSU under Franklin than over half our fans.
