Racing in the rain is awful, props to you man. I race fixed gear crits, only done a few in light rain and it was a crash fest with no brakes
going 25-30mph taking turns into the rain is absolutely insane.
It was a wild race for sure.
Great video. Practice dropping your chain and putting it back on with your fingers while rolling, very valuable skill
If I didn’t have a chain guide (what help that did) I probably would have tried.

Why did you stop? Mechanical issues?
Dropped my chain. Had to jump off and get it back on. I ran a chain guide which didn’t help and actually made it harder to get the chain back on.
Go in the pit next time tell them you had a mechanical, they might let you back in. I use to be an official. and rider.
Yea I probably could have tried. Although I think they said dropped chains specifically don’t count. No harm to try I guess.
@@junksmiles They might say your just not allowed to place and stay near the back. Never hurts to ask, I'd put you back in. Good Luck stay safe.
