It's so simple. Law is restrictions that come from ouside, faith is restrictions that come from within. That's the difference. They are the same rules, what's different is the motivation. Faith is the law written in a person's heart. And that's what Jesus was talking about when He said that the law should not be someting written on a stone, but something written in a person's heart. You abide by the law out of fear, out of obedience, out of your desire to be a respected member of society, and faith makes you abide by these rules out of love to God and people, because you feel it's what's right to do, it's what you want to do.

And I just wanted to add - a criminal who doesn't commit a crime just because he doesn't want to go to prison, is still a criminal by his nature. And in this case a sinner who doesn't sin is still a sinner, and brings death upon himself. The law condemns him, because it judges a person as a whole, including his heart, not just acts. While someone who doesn't commit crimes (sins) because it goes against his faith, against his heart, against his love to God - is a true son of God.

    Hi
I always thought Paul understood the law, but didn't realise his understanding came from the Sinai experience. When you read it you see the first thing YHWH wanted was that the entire assembly should be filled with the holy spirit[ like at Pentecost, which at that time was the first Shavuot! But they drew back and implored Moses to make the trumpets and to them frightening noise of YHWH stop. So the law was the only option after that. I just love how you One for Israel guys are presenting these vital truths.

Paul Peter and james literally disagreed with each other. It was through conversation that they all came to harmony and the New Testament became what it did. The Holy Spirit was sent for what? For us to blindly trust what large organized religious companies tell us? Come on man. You know better. The Holy Spirit is so we wouldn’t have to trust greedy rabbis or misinformed priests but rather take it up with God directly.

Funny thing. I find everything Paul says about the torah comes right out of the torah. For example, when he says the power of sin is in the law.... Sin being equated with death in the previous verse.... Go look up the words life and death inn the torah... This is why I'm not convinced Paul is talking about 2 laws when he mentions the law of life In Christ, and the law lif soon and death is really 2 laws, but two sizes of the same law, opposing eachother.
God says when you breakthroughs law, ie sin, you inherit death, and vice versa with life and obedience. I believe this is in deuteronomy 30.

Paul explains that God's standard has always been faith. The Law was put in place as a "schoolmaster" or "tutor" to make God's moral standards and the people's inability to meet those standards, evident. The Law proved the necessity of Faith and Grace. Now that the lesson has been taught, running back to the schoolhouse is not only silly, it goes against God's very purposes.

You are just showing that the *sins* proscribed by the Law existed before the Law. I am not arguing that theft didn't exist before Moses. I am arguing that a specific commandment from God based on a specific historical covenant didn't exist before Moses.
When we are speaking of "the Law" here in a discussion of Paul's position, we are referring to the Jewish Torah delivered to Moses .The term "the law of God" could, of course, be used to talk about His eternal standard of righteousness, or other such broad uses. However, we are talking here about "The Law" which in the parlance of Paul's epistles, refers to the Law of Moses.
In Galatians 3:17, Paul is talking about the relationship of faith and "the law." In this verse, he states as part of his argument that "the law came 430 years after" the covenant God made with Abraham. Obviously, the righteous standard of God, as well as the sins of those who failed to meet the standard, existed during the time of Abraham and before. But the Law, as Paul is discussing it and as I intended in my comment, did not come about until Moses.

I saw it as God preparing Israel as a nation under Him. Israel was still a nomadic tribe then, there are archaeological findings of a nomadic tribe being called the people of YHWH. He was, in my opinion, trying to establish Israel so that they could minister and subdue their pagan neighbors which He did achieve later on, except it took a longer route because of all the detours they made. God's really graceful, He was accompanying them throughout but in their fear and sin, they just treated Him without reverence because they became too comfortable with Him and regarded more as a wish granter than God.

The following is why people misunderstand Paul.
The background to the “lawless” debate is found in Acts ch.15. The early converts were mainly Jews and they misunderstood what was required of a Christian. This issue was widespread and continued for some time with devout Jewish converts insisting gentile converts keep the “law of Moses.”
Galatians ch.3 is the scripture generally used to claim that the apostle Paul taught that Christians were not under the law.
Gal.ch.3:2-3 - “Received you the Spirit by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit are ye now made perfect in the law?” - v.10 “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: - -”
vs.11-13 “But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, the just shall live by faith.” - - “And the law is not of faith:” - “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us; for it is written, cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree.”- - v19 “Wherefore then serve the law? It was added because of transgressions till the seed should come to whom the promise was made. - - -”
v24. “Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ that we might be justified by faith - v25 “But after faith is come we are no longer under a schoolmaster.”
So there you have it. The law was only a temporary expedient, “a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ” but now that Christ has come we can dispense with the law, it is replaced by faith in Christ. At a superficial reading that is how it would appear.
But we overlooked something - v19 - the law “ WAS ADDED BECAUSE OF TRANSGRESSIONS”
Romans ch.4:15 - “Where there is no law there is no transgression” So there had to be a law in existence before it could be broken and because that pre-existing law was broken the law that is the subject of Galatians ch.3 “was added”
What then is this law that was added - Jeremiah ch.7:22 - “For I spoke not unto your fathers nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt concerning burned offering and sacrifice.” And In Isaiah ch.1 God berates Judah for their sins and in v11 He asks - “To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? Saith the Lord. I am full of the burned offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts, and I delight not in the blood of bullocks or of lambs or of he goats - and He continues with - new moons, appointed feasts, prayers etc. and says He is “weary to hear them” And why? - because their “hands are full of blood” vs 15. And in verses 16-17 admonishes them to change their ways. The Jews were attempting to demonstrate their righteousness by zealously keeping the “law that was added” while at the same time demonstrating their unrighteousness by neglecting to keep the original law - to love their neighbours as themselves. See also Hebrews ch.10:1-8
The law that was abolished is the ritual law, the law of sacrifice etc. that was added because they had broken the moral law
Is Paul opposed to the moral law? Galatians ch.5:14 “For all the law is fulfilled in this one word - thou shall love thy neighbour as yourself.” Ephesians ch.4:28 - “Let him who stole steal no more.” “-- -, for he that loves another has fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shall not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet, and if there is any other commandment it is briefly comprehended in this saying, Thou shalt love they neighbour as yourself. Love works no ill to his neighbour therefore love is the fulfilling of the law (Romans ch.13:8-10)
It is this "law that was added" that Jesus came to fulfil. Matthew 5:17-20 KJV

But sin was slaving us man and we are hopeless, even though we know that it is wrong and there are consequences we powerless of the sin that is in us. Because He is JUSTICE He need to punish us for our sin, that what paul ment That that instead of righteousness it bring death to us. But because of Christ He gave us righteousness thats the Law did not gave us. Instead we fulfill the Law by believing on Him and our sinful desire addresses not by followingthe Law. That Acts 15 didn't ACTUALLY mean what it said, and that Paul has been misinterpreted by believers who wish to live their lives in sin.

To make a long story short, I would say Jesus healed and worked on the sabbath because for one he is “Lord of the Sabbath “therefore he has the right. Secondly I would say that he wanted to teach that man was not made for the law but rather the law was made for man .Jesus even once asked should someone do good or bad on the sabbath, and he was saddened at the cold hearts because they will not answer. So that proves that they were hypocrites and we’re only keeping the law to impress others rather than keeping the law for the right reasons.

Shalom. You should be quoting from the 1611 King James Bible only. See Gail Riplinger’s work on this. She
Is on Utube and is the author of “New Age Bible Versions.”
All teaching of the law should always include, so there is no misunderstanding, the necessity to keep the 10 commandments. This includes the 4th commandment the keeping of the 7th day sabbath.
I think we have to consider the possibility that the works Paul is referring to are those good works ( keeping the commandments and feasts and the laws of Moses ) done by the Jews prior to conversion. And that he is addressing this topic primarily for the sake of the Gentiles who were without these good works prior to their conversion.
The point that he could be making is this. This could be an attempt by Paul to address the effects of the inferiority that the gentiles converts would have experienced, who unlike the Jews had no knowledge of God prior to their conversion.
This is an inferiority that todays gentile believers would experience if the Jews had found Christ before they found Him.
But because todays gentiles have come to a knowledge of the truth before the Jews did, the gentle converts are not affected by their inferiority to the Jewish believers Godly heritage.
But those Gentile converts that Paul knew, would have certainly been affected by it.
However Paul try’s to diminish this by saying that AS the Jew’s works of keeping the commandments along with all the laws of Moses, it nevertheless didn’t contribute to their salvation,
Therefore he is allowing the Gentiles to come to the conclusion that there is actually such an equality between Jew and Gentle believers, because God chose them both of them, and not on account of works, so therefore the gentile converts should be confident in the knowledge that they must be equal to one another because God chose them equally and not on the basis of works.

Paul, as Saul, had witnessed first hand the double standards of the rabbis. He knew they were manipulating the laws of Almighty God, Yhwh, just as many government leaders do today which is make every one the servants of those laws but they themselves excused themselves from following those laws in their hearts, but followed them in the style of image-craft which is pretending to follow God's laws just enough ro convince the .people. Vicars and priests also do it which is why the faith in Yhwh/Jehovah is collapsing around our ears just when we need it most...but I suspect this will all change when Wormwood and Satan make their presence felt which they already are.

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.
    Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Ecclesiastes is a very bad place to get your doctrine from. It repeats UNDER THE SUN, over and over again and the expression occurs 29 times in 12 chapters. This is a man trying to figure things out about life and God by himself, and with no divine knowledge. Solomon was trying to find the words of truth instead of the words of God, and in his life, he made a mess of it.
What about the two verses BEFORE 1 Cor. 7:19? But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called everyone, so let him walk. And so I ordain in all churches. Is any man called being circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Is any man called uncircumcised [GENTILES] let him not be circumcised.
For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves, It is the gift of God and not of works lest any man should boast (Eph. 2:8.9)
Paul said that a believer was justified 'from ALL things' that he could not be justified BY THE LAW OF MOSES (Acts 13:39,40).
Peter said: “Now therefore why tempt ye God to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers or we [JEWS] were able to bear? But we believe that through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved even as they `` (Acts 15:10,11).
"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we [JEWS] have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." (Gal. 2:16)
"Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin." Romans 3:20,

The messiah's name was always going to be Jesus according to Zechariah Chapter 6... which is the same name as the post exile high priest ,Yeshua!
if the concept of Messiah and God are separate then it doesn't automatically follow that sins can be forgiven.. only God can forgive sins. furthermore if the expectation of Messiah is to reverse the events of Genesis 3 Genesis 6 and Genesis 11 then by Definition messiah has to be more than just a man.
Jesus being born of Mary but not of Joseph is not a problem according to Jewish history because I believe during the reign of Queen Alexandra Jewish law made Heritage pass on, by matrilineal Bases.
A basis for the Trinity can be established in the Old Testament by passages like Amos 4:11Isaiah 48:16.. and Judges chapter 2:1 and Daniel 7:9-14
Support for the idea of God becoming man in Scripture are Deuteronomy 18 verses 15 to 18 Focus of the verse speaks of the coming Messiah coming from lineage of Israel like unto moses.
We also have Exodus chapter 23 verse 20 and 21 the context of which is speaking about the future Endeavor of going over Jordan then we come to Joshua chapter 5 verses 13 to 15 and the context of this passage is having just gone over the Jordan into Israel.
Another proof of this idea perhaps most glaringly Jeremiah chapter 1 verses 4-10... the first thing you want to pay attention to is titles in verse 4 and verse 9... Hashem and the word of the Lord these titles are used interchangeably there's some definite implication there but the point of emphasis here is verse 9 because it goes a little further than just anthropomorphic language.
Now the next concern is did Jesus ever claim to be God? And for this the scriptures I would provide are Matthew 26:64 Jesus directly quotes Daniel 7:13
John 10:34 Jesus claims to be the judge in Psalm 82 referencing verse 6
In John 10 versus Both 11 and 14 Jesus Yeshua says that he is the Good Shepherd and you can cross-reference this with the very first line of Psalm 23.
In Mark chapter 6 starting from verse 45 Jesus walks on the water this is something designated in the Old Testament for something only God (job 9:8) can do this separates Jesus from the other people who did miracles.
Where another claim would be is in the fact that Jesus forgives sins, off the top of my head is Mark chapter 2
now certainly there have always been Messianic claimants but none of them have ever claimed to forgive sins.
Now the question becomes why would Jesus so secretive why didn't he just come out and say that he was the Lord God of Israel?... well one scripture off the top of my head of that I would provide here that might be interesting is this Matthew 16:20 "then he commanded his disciples that they should tell no one that he was Jesus the Christ"... my suggestion to you here, would be that the crucifixion how to take place at a certain place at a certain time and under a specific set of circumstances.
Please Look into all the scriptures I made mention here I hope this helps even one person
Hashem bless everyone of you... in the name of Jesus both son and God of David king of Israel, amen!

Moses introduced the 10 Commandments as a global set of laws to replace the set of laws that was in place in Ge:6 when God judged the world to be in sin. The 'sons of God' in Ge:6 are angels and angels have been alive since the beginning of day1 of creation, the law for immortal beings is the Re:21 set of laws. The grief God felt was over what was being done to the children of Adam and Eve, all of whom had 5 fingers on each hand. The children of the fallen angels all had 6 fingers. When the flood came there were five 5-fingered people left alive, Noah and his wife and 3 sons. If God had killed the sons wives there would have been no 6-fingered people left alive and that was needed as they were related to the fallen angels so they were how the Re:21 law was in effect until the last 6-fingered person died in the exodus wars. That law was centered around the same altar from the Garden that Cain/Abel brought their offerings to.
Israel was a slice of the garden and the Ezekiel version will be the land that will be called Israel starting with the 1,000 year reign. Since Jesus is immortal and the whole population alive at the end of the 1st day of the 1,000 year reign and they are all witnesses to all fallen angels being sent to the fiery lake that makes them immortal as well that means the law of the land reverts back to what it was between Adam and Moses, that is the Re:21 set of laws.
Blood offerings are for the forgiveness of sins, Jesus died as the last blood sacrifice, any offering after that should have been Cain's offering as it is thanking God for the food He provides for people that need food. In the 1,000 year reign there will be no other flesh alive so a return to blood offerings will be impossible. The rain that falls on the Nations will be why Cain's offering will be possible. That will also be the only offering made all through the time the new earth exists.
If the area of Israel was valid for the time of Jesus the people in Samaria would not have been viewed as outcasts. Judea is a lot smaller than Israel and because of sin God removed the Jews from the land by using Neb from Babylon. The Jews in Matt:23 were not gathered like the 11 that Jesus baptized the evening after His resurrection, they are not gathered until the Re:20:4 resurrections take place which is a fulfillment of Eze:37 and the resurrection of the 12 Tribes that goes back to Joseph, the son of Abraham. Abraham with be wandering the world with the Gentile Church. That would seem to include Adam and Eve as well and all the people God will resurrect so they are not in the grave for the 1,000 year reign.
Job is expecting to be resurrected after all of God's wrath is past. Job is not resurrected until after the 7 vials are poured out as the Re:20:4 resurrections is the event that follows that. Job will get to witness Satan and the fallen angels being sent to the fiery lake.
When New Jerusalem land a square that is 1600km on each side will be covered and the rest of the earth will be a sea of glass that is where people will assembly when they come for the various festivals that will exist. The lad that will become the Nations are different solar system that will use names of nations mentioned in the Bible.
Moses died at the age of 120 because of the 120 year determination in Ge:6, in Isa:65 that age is when people will go from being mortal (needing food) to being immortal (able to travel between stars with no support of any kind needed.
The 'latter days' from De:4:30 prophecy is covering the time the two witnesses are in Jerusalem (1st trump sounding) which ends 4 days before the return of Jesus. Prayers are how people repent their sins, once the trumps start sounding the letters in the NT that are for 'the time of the Gentiles (as in Luke:21:24 and the 42 months from Re:11)
Prayers during the trumps are about physical safety that mirror the protection given to the 144,000 and the two witnesses.
Romans:13 is for the believers who promote the doubting Thomas story is fact and not fiction. The selection below is for when Satan and the Beast are waging war against the two witnesses (they alone fight for Jesus). (42 months starting when the 5th trump sounds and ending the day Jesus resurrects the two witnesses so the total time is 4 days for the first 4 trumps and then 3 1/2 years)
Moses was not supposed to enter Israel, be that because of the sin of taking credit for betting water from a rock or because he was the first person (after Cain) to be subject to the 120 year time limit for how long people live before being judged by God to see if they qualify for immortality. Adam died 70 years before he would have been judged to be a sinner and he would have gone to the fiery lake. God kept Moses out of the promised land because when he is there it will be forever rather than 40 years.
The 12 Tribes wandered the desert for 40 years and they balked at their first task, go to war against the 6 fingered people known as 'giants'. God killed every male over the age of 20 years. 40 years later they went to war where they ended up being witnesses to God killing the people in most cases.
When female children were taken those children ended up being married into one of the 12 Tribes as a non-virgin bride rather than a virgin in an arranged marriage. In the resurrection the families of those children are resurrected as part of the 12 tribes as compensation by God to those children.
    1Pe:4:12-17:
    Beloved,
think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you,
as though some strange thing happened unto you:
    But rejoice,
    inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings;
that, when his glory shall be revealed,
ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
If ye be reproached for the name of Christ,
    happy are ye;
for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you:
on their part he is evil spoken of,
but on your part he is glorified.
But let none of you suffer as a murderer,
    or as a thief,

or as a busybody in other men's matters.
Yet if any man suffer as a Christian,
    let him not be ashamed;

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God:

People born in the new earth era (only to the people that make their homes outside of the walls of new Jerusalem as the 12 Tribes and Gentile Church from the 1,000 year reign live inside that huge city). That means the people below are the ones being punished in the verses just before this. What is missing is Hebrews:12 as that is when God ends their punishment at the GWT event. The ones called 'the rest' will be given in marriage so they are the ones having children and taking care of the other flesh that Adam and Eve were given dominion over.
      0-20 years = infant
20-120 years = child (of God) married like Adam and Eve were, also needing food like they were
120- eternity = 'old man' Jesus with white hair is an 'old man; which means you live to the end of eternity as 120 is when you no longer need food, you no longer have children as you need to learn a lot before you are as wise as the 'sons of God' in Ge:6. People become 'sons of God' after they have drank from the living water and eaten from the tree of life. (Eze:47 for the 1,000 year group and New Jerusalem in Re:21 for 'the rest' of the children of Adam and Eve. New Jerusalem is what 'holy mountain' is reverencing. The 10 Commandments are the law that was brought forward, Acts:10 was 3 1/2 years after the cross and it marked the end of the 70th week of Da:9. The law used against Jesus was from the 613 laws and the removal of the diet restriction meant all 613 were no longer a sin requiring the person be killed if a blood sacrifice could not be made in a temple in Jerusalem. Gentiles are taught the 10 Commandments but not the other laws. If a Jew rejects the NT then he rejects the ability to repent the sin of eating Gentile food through the same kind of prayer Daniel was saying in his role as a High Priest to God while in exile from the Temple in Jerusalem. A Priest can call his whole flock 'his children' and Paul and the beloved Disciple did just that.
      Jas:2:7-17:
Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself,
      ye do well:
But if ye have respect to persons,
      ye commit sin,
and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
For whosoever shall keep the whole law,
and yet offend in one point,
      he is guilty of all.
      For he that said,
      Do not commit adultery,
      said also,
      Do not kill.
Now if thou commit no adultery,
      yet if thou kill,
thou art become a transgressor of the law.
      So speak ye,
      and so do,
as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
For he shall have judgment without mercy,
      that hath shewed no mercy;
      and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
      What doth it profit,
      my brethren,
though a man say he hath faith,
      and have not works?
      can faith save him?
If a brother or sister be naked,
      and destitute of daily food,
And one of you say unto them,
      Depart in peace,
      be ye warmed and filled;
      notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body;
      what doth it profit?
      Even so faith,
      if it hath not works,
      is dead,

Paul was a pharisee, the pharisees believed there were two laws given at mt. sinai, the written Torah and the oral torah. The written Torah is what we know as the five books of Moses, the oral torah is what we know as the talmud also described in the new testament as "the traditions of the fathers" something our lord was opposed to and outspoken about. You must carefully discern when dividing the words of Paul, exactly what "law" he's talking about. Remember the warning of Peter in 2Peter 3:15-16, he was writing to the galatians as we find in 1Peter. According to Peter the book of galatians is hard to understand by people who don't know the law, and for that fault may distort the complex words of Paul to their own spiritual destruction!
Let me ask all of you one simple question...when reading Paul's letter to the galatians, what one thing could be misunderstood that would cause a person to possibly ultimately loose their salvation? Allow me to eliminate one possibility I think we all can agree on...faith in Jesus, what's the one book people refer to when trying to prove we don't need to keep God's Torah any longer?

These are both contracts (bondage). The party in breach offers (pays) in sacrifice (detriment) to oneself. Judgment is TRANSGRESSION in that it builds in the pattern of SIN giving it a new name. The wood attached to the stone statutes are referred to as damages. God's of wood and stone. The arch itself wood and stone to which you look for protection. According to the Torah, "all mankind is a sinner". In fact it's in our fallen DNA.

One thing that a pastor showed me that no one seems to pick up on is that Paul also called the law, namely the 10 Commandments the covenant of death in 2 Cor 3. Moreover, Sinai was the first Pentecost and 3000 died but in acts ch 2 the very first verse says when the day of Pentecost had FULLY come which I believe meant that what was originally intended in the first Pentecost was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost after Jesus resurrection and 3000 were saved and given eternal life.

By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. 14But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. 15This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. 17But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. 18And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace."
(By the way, the words translated "bitter jealousy" are essentially "bitter zeal." Are you being bitter in your zeal? Do you suppose your zeal for God excuses un-Christian behavior?)
Even assuming you are correct in you positions, it is possible to be correct but going about things in the wrong spirit. Is that not the point of James also saying that having correct orthodox belief means nothing if it does not produce a change which gives evidence?

I disagree, this is what I grew up on and I now see the err in it, plz look into what I’m sharing.
It’s the renewed covenant. New as in still exists but new like a new moon. Refreshed.
Let me share an example. You are driving down the street and you go through a red light, an officer sees you and pulls you over. He gives you a citation for disobeying the law.
This citation is so high that the only One Who can pay your debt, comes and pays the debt but says He will not go to the tree to die again to pay your debt, now Go and Sin NO MORE!
Do you now have freedom to go through red lights or do you now obey the law? No!
Now you are free from the law or debt of the law. We imitate our Torah keeping Messiah.
Only through Messiah can the law be obeyed through His spirit.
    King David had Salvation.
Abraham obeyed and it was counted to him as righteousness.
Nicodemus was supposed to have known what Salvation and to be born again was, before Messiah resurrected.
Messiah told them they erred in the scripture, and didn’t know the scripture, which scriptures were they supposed to have known? The NT was not written yet.
Every law Messiah spoke of to explain came from the TaNaK.
The TaNaK exposes sin so that there is repentance! Praise YaH!
Only through YaHuSHa and Elohims Spirit can we understand His TaNaK/Scripture. 2 Corinthians 3, the veil or scales on their eyes are taken away so that they can see.
1 Corinthians 10, the people in the wilderness rejected Messiah( Angel of the Lord/ King YHWH) not because they couldn’t obey it, it’s because they would not obey it and Messiah was right there with them.
He destroyed the world for disobeying the Law.
He killed Ananias and his wife for breaking the Law especially on a Holy Day.
And in the 1000 year reign they will die immediately for sin from major consequences.
The blood is up to the horses bridle, and He speaks to the 7 gatherings in Revelation 2 and 3 and He is warning for them to repent like He has always done. He never changed.
They are still doing the Holy Days and animal sacrifice in the renewed covenant. It’s only better because He accomplished His spring moeds but He is coming again and it will be even better for His Autumn moeds to be accomplished! And then to Tabernacle with Him forever after judgment day is even better than all that!
He is accomplishing His plan of salvation and marriage covenant to His bride.
May you look into this further without a catholic brainwashing.

"We" Jews say at Pesach, "we were slaves in Egypt", "He redeemed us", etc. You exclude yourself from the Jewish people as you keep saying, "They". You clearly are standing outside of the Jewish people and judging them, rather than being a part. But you do fit into one group, those who Peter talked about in his letter: those unlearned who misunderstand the teachings of Paul and twist them "to their own distruction". This Peter calls the "spirit of anti-messiah" which is, he says, the "spirit of law-less-ness". The law stays as the father runs his home and the child must fall back in and follow suit. Our creator has given to us Jews his Torah and it can never become redundant. Hashem, like the father, cannot change. His law is eternal and as Jews we accept it with joy and we live both the oral and written Torah wholeheartedly and realise that our actions has consequences. Was the writer trying to give his work more weight or authority to the reader by presenting fanciful miraculous events?
The mans name isn’t Peter. His name is Simon of Petros. Petros is a place, the heart of all Middle East trading from the Silk Road. During Jesus day it was a world hub of Wealth and influence.
There was more than one Simon, and there were no surnames so place names made it the way to differentiate between multiple Simons.
For Greeks, Petros or the Latin form Petr, is a name of the false god Jupiter, Yoweh Petr.
