Please…PLEASE go deeper into the teachings of Paul and his use of the OT. I have heard so many claims of Paul misusing or misinterpreting the quotes he uses and the OT as a whole. So many claims that he is a liar or a fool and I don’t know what to believe anymore. 😢

So close and yet so far! Paul was a Hebrew scholar who knew the scriptures but his understanding before he became a follower of Christ was dull. However, his enlightened understanding was inspired by the Holy Spirit, the same Spirit who is still willing to inspire the same understanding today of the passages in Hosea so that we too will say the same things as Paul did in Romans 9. Indeed he was inspired to connect the passages in Deuteronomy 32. Paul understood the impact of Deut 32: 9 "For Yahweh’s portion is his people. Jacob is the lot of his inheritance" to appreciate all the more verse 21 "So I will make them jealous with those who are no people;" He understood Hosea 2: 23 differently than the Rabbis in the Talmud. Paul understood the spiritual legality in the passage "and I will sow her for myself in the land" as the literal assimilation of Israel's bloodline into the Gentile world, bringing the Gentiles into Yahweh's inheritance. Hence in Romans 11: 26 Paul foretold 'in this way, all Israel will be saved'. Remember Jesus asserted that Yahweh's portion is Jacob by stating He came only to save the lost sheep of Israel? The Holy Spirit had clearly revealed to Paul as he quoted Isaiah 1: 9 in Romans 9 that God will not annihilate Israel like Sodom and Gomorrah but that he will give them offspring among the Gentiles although only a remnant of ethnic Israel among the Jews will survive the 1st century. The messianic Jews today must come to terms with the truth that your Jewishness has its unlawful basis in the rebellion of the 1st-century rabbis that formed a new Judaism. As they assimilated with Gentile proselytes God in His wisdom and mercy was sowing Israel upon the Gentile landscape so that you are like the rest of us - Gentile offspring of ancient Israel in terms of bloodline. But like the rest of Christ's gentile followers, you too have become His people through Christ and Him only. If Paul could consider his Jewishness dung, why can't you?

This is a great exposition. I attend a Messianic congregation that considers both Jews and Gentiles as one people of God that accept Jeshua (AKA Jesus). Deut 32:23 in the King James Version translates this way, 'Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people...', but the word 'with' is in Italics, which means they believe it to be implied. The Hellenistic Israelites in the diaspora were the “gentiles” of whom Paul spoke in Romans 9:24-27. Deut 32:21 is about making Israel jealous by means of calamities perpetrated on them by the gentiles (v23), not provoking them to jealousy. Deut 32:43 cited in this program tells the gentiles that are his people to rejoice (ie, Hellenistic Israelites living outside the mosaic covenant brought into the new covenant). The “Oh gentiles, cause my people to rejoice” translation to 32:43 is not consistent with the Hebrew or the Septuagint which we know the apostles to have quoted from.
Paul was a Pharisee who studied under Gamiliel and one of the top Rabbi in Israel in that day. I'd bet he knew the Old testament pretty well. He wrote most of the New testament with that knowledge.

God chose a man who was one of the best educated Pharisees to write much of the NT. Paul knew how to interpret the Hebrew Scriptures and I think it shows. I think that saying every Bible verse only has one application means that much of it would be unnecessary to keep. Why keep much of Genesis if the Jewish people have been out of Egypt for millenia? I'm obviously not saying twist Scripture to meet every circumstance, or everything said to Israel is also applicable to me. God gave humans insight and we can ask our Preachers or research what Biblical Scholars say about particular verses if we are unsure.

More than likely that is the case. The word gentile in itself can be a problematic word. For it is a latin word that would of not been used in Greek or Hebrew. However it is a substitute word for nation. Paul was from the tribe of Benjamin and the brother of Joseph. Benjamin was the intercessor between Joseph and Judah before. The house of Joseph were more than likely to follow the ways of Joseph their forefather and adopt Pagan customs. We see in Jeremiah 16:6 But now I will send for many fishermen,” declares the LORD, “and they will catch them. After that I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them down on every mountain and hill and from the crevices of the rocks. Jesus the Christ told his disciples that he would make them fishers of men! (Fishers of Ephraim) I have reason to believe that the House of Joseph was already present in Rome and why Yeshua was not so visceral towards Rome as a whole. This fufills prophecy that Joseph would rule over his brother Judah. Now not all Romans were Israelites, but they were present there. I can give you a clearer understanding of this but it would take far too long. For the word gentile is a kinder word to use. For the Israelites themselves probably used more harsh words like Heathen or savages. Joseph was supposed to become the fullness of these nations so they could have salvation as well. One has to become like the people you are going to save. The house of Joseph took the Gospels to every corner of the earth. Great Britan and the U.S. have the house of Joseph present in their nations. Now it is up to Judah to bring everything into one stick! Judah is the Mosaic covenant while Joseph the Abrahamic covenant. The Jews are the spiritually blessed while Joseph the physically blessed.4
Indeed, Jesus said that right before He ministered to a Gentile woman. He clearly taught, "I have other sheep that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice. UA-cam has alot of teaching and ministry and I had started to follow some America Jewish minister but soon started to notice the criticism about Paul on that platform was literally troubling and baseless. In Hosea, the Lord did divorce Israel, after which they were cast into the nations, becoming goyim- gentiles. Paul explains, also in Romans, how Christ, by dying, fulfilled the law of the husband, allowing for Israel, and the mixed multitude they intermingled with, to enter into a new marriage contract as the Bride. This is the wall of separation that has be removed, allowing gentiles to enter into the common wealth of Israel, along with the old saints, as full citizens. One Israel - One God - One Bride. Paul very aptly explains this mystery of how the Lord made it possible for gentiles to enter in to the promise. This, of course, was mirrored in the Tanakh with the mixed multitude of Egypt.
Gentile believers are actually a fulfillment of the Abrahamic Covenant in that Abraham sacrificed his son to God on mount Moriah in Genesis 22 and so Jesus crucifixion was God sacrificing His Son which happened in the very same spot. That’s how Blood covenants work that an agreement between two must be sealed in blood whereby both parties must make a sacrifice to make it binding and while we know that Abraham didn’t actually commit the act his heart was to obey God and it even says in the NT that Abraham believed that God would resurrect Isaac because He had promised Isaac to Abraham so Abraham judged God as faithful to His promise and furthermore that we see that Jesus was indeed resurrected and Jesus is actually quoted saying that Abraham saw my day and rejoiced when testifying to the Jews. I believe that passage is in John. What day? Jesus loved 33 years so what specific day was He referring? I believe He was talking about His own crucifixion. So, we see that it was a Covenant fulfilled by the Messiah which ofc was hidden.. It was a mystery which was revealed through the person of Jesus Christ

I could be wrong but doesn't the talmud include occult practices? If so then any Rabbi claiming to follow the Mosaic law would automatically disqualify himself and his interpretation by citing the talmud

Paul was a Hebrew scholar who knew the scriptures but his understanding before he became a follower of Christ was dull. However, his enlightened understanding was inspired by the Holy Spirit, the same Spirit who is still willing to inspire the same understanding today of the passages in Hosea so that we too will say the same things as Paul did in Romans 9. Indeed he was inspired to connect the passages in Deuteronomy 32. Paul understood the impact of Deut 32: 9 "For Yahweh’s portion is his people. Jacob is the lot of his inheritance" to appreciate all the more verse 21 "So I will make them jealous with those who are no people;"
He understood Hosea 2: 23 differently than the Rabbis in the Talmud. Paul understood the spiritual legality in the passage "and I will sow her for myself in the land" as the literal assimilation of Israel's bloodline into the Gentile world, bringing the Gentiles into Yahweh's inheritance. Hence in Romans 11: 26 Paul foretold 'in this way, all Israel will be saved'.
Remember Jesus asserted that Yahweh's portion is Jacob by stating He came only to save the lost sheep of Israel?
The Holy Spirit had clearly revealed to Paul as he quoted Isaiah 1: 9 in Romans 9 that God will not annihilate Israel like Sodom and Gomorrah but that he will give them offspring among the Gentiles although only a remnant of ethnic Israel among the Jews will survive the 1st century.
The messianic Jews today must come to terms with the truth that your Jewishness has its unlawful basis in the rebellion of the 1st-century rabbis that formed a new Judaism. As they assimilated with Gentile proselytes God in His wisdom and mercy was sowing Israel upon the Gentile landscape so that you are like the rest of us - Gentile offspring of ancient Israel in terms of bloodline. But like the rest of Christ's gentile followers, you too have become His people through Christ and Him only. If Paul could consider his Jewishness dung, why can't you?

The Hellenistic Israelites in the diaspora were the “gentiles” of whom Paul spoke in Romans 9:24-27. Deut 32:21 is about making Israel jealous by means of calamities perpetrated on them by the gentiles (v23), not provoking them to jealousy. Deut 32:43 cited in this program tells the gentiles that are his people to rejoice (ie, Hellenistic Israelites living outside the mosaic covenant brought into the new covenant). The “Oh gentiles, cause my people to rejoice” translation to 32:43 is not consistent with the Hebrew or the Septuagint which we know the apostles to have quoted from.
Paul was a Pharisee who studied under Gamiliel and one of the top Rabbi in Israel in that day. I'd bet he knew the Old testament pretty well. He wrote most of the New testament with that knowledge.

God chose a man who was one of the best educated Pharisees to write much of the NT. Paul knew how to interpret the Hebrew Scriptures and I think it shows.
I think that saying every Bible verse only has one application means that much of it would be unnecessary to keep. Why keep much of Genesis if the Jewish people have been out of Egypt for millenia?
I'm obviously not saying twist Scripture to meet every circumstance, or everything said to Israel is also applicable to me. God gave humans insight and we can ask our Preachers or research what Biblical Scholars say about particular verses if we are unsure.

More than likely that is the case. The word gentile in itself can be a problematic word. For it is a latin word that would of not been used in Greek or Hebrew. However it is a substitute word for nation. Paul was from the tribe of Benjamin and the brother of Joseph. Benjamin was the intercessor between Joseph and Judah before. The house of Joseph were more than likely to follow the ways of Joseph their forefather and adopt Pagan customs. We see in Jeremiah 16:6
But now I will send for many fishermen,” declares the LORD, “and they will catch them. After that I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them down on every mountain and hill and from the crevices of the rocks.
Jesus the Christ told his disciples that he would make them fishers of men! (Fishers of Ephraim) I have reason to believe that the House of Joseph was already present in Rome and why Yeshua was not so visceral towards Rome as a whole. This fufills prophecy that Joseph would rule over his brother Judah. Now not all Romans were Israelites, but they were present there. I can give you a clearer understanding of this but it would take far too long. For the word gentile is a kinder word to use. For the Israelites themselves probably used more harsh words like Heathen or savages. Joseph was supposed to become the fullness of these nations so they could have salvation as well. One has to become like the people you are going to save. The house of Joseph took the Gospels to every corner of the earth. Great Britan and the U.S. have the house of Joseph present in their nations. Now it is up to Judah to bring everything into one stick! Judah is the Mosaic covenant while Joseph the Abrahamic covenant. The Jews are the spiritually blessed while Joseph the physically blessed.4
Indeed, Jesus said that right before He ministered to a Gentile woman. He clearly taught, "I have other sheep that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice. Then there will be one flock, one shepherd." (John 10:16). The Gentiles were always a part of God's great plan & purpose for Christ (Head & Body) and all Creation.

In Hosea, the Lord did divorce Israel, after which they were cast into the nations, becoming goyim- gentiles. Paul explains, also in Romans, how Christ, by dying, fulfilled the law of the husband, allowing for Israel, and the mixed multitude they intermingled with, to enter into a new marriage contract as the Bride. This is the wall of separation that has be removed, allowing gentiles to enter into the common wealth of Israel, along with the old saints, as full citizens. One Israel - One God - One Bride. Paul very aptly explains this mystery of how the Lord made it possible for gentiles to enter in to the promise. This, of course, was mirrored in the Tanakh with the mixed multitude of Egypt.
Gentile believers are actually a fulfillment of the Abrahamic Covenant in that Abraham sacrificed his son to God on mount Moriah in Genesis 22 and so Jesus crucifixion was God sacrificing His Son which happened in the very same spot.
That’s how Blood covenants work that an agreement between two must be sealed in blood whereby both parties must make a sacrifice to make it binding and while we know that Abraham didn’t actually commit the act his heart was to obey God and it even says in the NT that Abraham believed that God would resurrect Isaac because He had promised Isaac to Abraham so Abraham judged God as faithful to His promise and furthermore that we see that Jesus was indeed resurrected and Jesus is actually quoted saying that Abraham saw my day and rejoiced when testifying to the Jews.

I could be wrong but doesn't the talmud include occult practices? If so then any Rabbi claiming to follow the Mosaic law would automatically disqualify himself and his interpretation by citing the talmud

interesting insght of old testament. So also Israel forsook Gods law but then ressurected it so also was Christ ressurected. His word is HIS Scriptures (old testament). Its amazing what God prophesied throughout the scriptures before Christ Messiah came into flesh.
