- A look at the Oakley SI M Frame Alpha available through the Standard Issues site. Oakley is calling this an Ecosystem as it uses one lens which fits all the components of the system to easily adapt to any situation.

60% off on July 4th on Oakley SI. I left my pair of WIley WX Vapors (issued) in a truck last year and have been fighting replacing them since. Really looking forward to this upgrade.
what do you mean? is it bad to leave your glasses in your truck?

If it had been my own personal truck, no problem.
If your hinge is tough it just takes a few times to loosen up. Also, lenses are stamped! It has Z87 on the lens, the frame just covers it. You’ll have to remove the lens to see it

My brother gave me this set as a gift. Only two lenses have arrived (and that took 6 months). Oakley is owned by "Luxotica" of Milan Italy. I don't know if this is recent, but their ability to deliver product in a timely manner appears to have been deeply compromised. I still have 2 or 3 more lenses on "back order" since February of 2017. It's now late September. While I was waiting, I just went to Costco and got two great pairs of sunglasses (admitedly not hi-tech like these) for $25 each, with a lifetime warranty. Also, I got cleaning solution at the Costco vision center, and the clerk told me I get lifetime refills, just bring the empty bottle to the optical counter and they will re-fill it for as long as I have the bottle. Eat your heart out Oakley.
I really wish Oakley would give us Prizm black on the M Frames and other sunglasses.... the Prizm technology is great, but some people don't like the bright colored lenses or flashy lenses including myself
i was just going to get the lense with the helo kit but now i just get the whole kit. whatever i need to do it will do the job thanks...

Are the lenses stamped as well? I work at a mine, and they require both the lens and frame to be stamped.
Great Review. I love OSI! When I seen this hit I was curious about them. Then they came out with Thin Blue Line glasses and it was like ok which one first lol. The Alpha Kit will be my next purchase for sure. I can use the goggles at work under my helmet when I'm on the ATV Patroling or when SHTF stuff with my vest/helmet in the trunk.

would it be possible to like insert some prescription glasses inside the helio gasket or thats not possible?
+FightingNavyman the material is designed to move around so I'm not sure if they would hold prescription glasses firmly

probably the smoke or prizm lense but all the glasses in the video are M Frames

Is that M frame similar in size and fit of the radar ranger frame? I recently lost a pair of radar range & looking to replace them, I'm thinking this will be the best option for work (LEO), but only if it's similar to my radar range

Hope you didn't pay a lot for them.because you've been had.oakley will never put a sticker on the lense itself.they don't snap in place either.
Adam Roether I got these straight from the Oakley SI reps at Shot Show so I’m pretty sure they are real plus Oakley does place stickers in their Prizm lenses so you know which one you’re using (ie Prizm Shooting)
