OMG that's how I play my F Chords too! I also like to play g diminished and c diminished chords in my progressions, it's a different sound.

One thing we know about playing guitar is that it's different for everyone. Please make sure you do what suits your playing style the best.

@bungalow32 No not ironic because they belong to the key of C. Add a C in there with the other three chords and you can probably play about 90% of popular music. It's known as a "4 chord trick" (i.e. the golden rule for writing a catchy tune). You can also play these songs in G. ** G=C, D=G, Em=Am, Cadd9=F. ** I think this is known as Major 1st and Major 5th, but don't quote me on that.

ok,whats the strumming pattern for that first verse?could they do a lesson on that?
cook9174 u just hammer on: d string to the second fret of the d string, then g string to the second fret on the g string then play a minor a few times then hammer on ur pinky on the third fret while still playing the a minor chord. After that quickly remove your index and pinky from the chord then repeat the process. Hope that helps
