Dooma this is amazing. Who coulda thunk (besides you) that old school gear could be so good together. Now i can have a healing set to use for my Templar to use and it doesnt require trail gear or the latest DLCs to farm for.
LOVE not having to cart around a ton of different sets to jump from pve to pvp, and my dusty templar aleady has SPC. Time to pull it from the shelf, brush it off, and start playing templar again. Looking forward to that follow up video as well. Thanks for all you do :D
THANK YOU for watching!❗If you want more survivability (and an easier time in general while sacrificing a bit of output) you can modify the build by dropping Seducer and using 4 heavy Eternal Vigor pieces with divine or impenetrable traits. Everything else will be the same. This will let you benefit more from heavy armor passives and Eternal Vigor will keep your sustain healthy with the loss of Seducer, while also helping with a bit of health recovery when you are low HP.
Reporting back in!!!! This is a banger of a build!!!! I am loving this new Templar build!!! I built my seducer in heavy I just can’t not be up in the business! I made my first ever healer run 4 man and this build gives me all the confidence in the world to que up as healer! My first healer actually Dooma thank you I’m in love again with Templar ❤❤❤❤❤
This was perfect for me absolutely outstanding I’ve always struggled to even want to play mag healer or DD in heavy armour with 40k health I think pvp is completely ridiculous in that way I love been light on my feet smashing out heals for days thank you thank you 🙏 ❤😊
Awesome! The more I played it the more I leaned towards heavy (ev) myself. It's really strong in small scale, I am glad you have something similar as well!
I've gotten so skilled with this build that seducer will now be dropped, and Jorvuld will take its place. Reviving Barrier will have a longer uptime and absorb more damage, along with the rest of the group buffs that are placed on the team or group.
Great video Dooma. It’s time to dust off my Templar now that I got a healer one bar build! Question I didn’t catch the options for mundus stones regarding PvP/pve setup. What would be best for either type?
Ok Dooma I know you can do it…..one bar Tank build!!!! You taught me to heal, can you teach me to tank????BGs and dungeons!!! Give us the tank version of a build like this! I have DK bash build and love it, thanks to this build I have a healer……tank ?????
Hey Dooma, i just got into PvP healing and this seems like the perfekt build to start! You mentioned some changes for people who wanna play only PvE, do you also have some recommendations on what to change with this build if I only wanna play PvP? Maybe more heavy pieces? Greetings, Tim :) Edit 1: I just finished the build, i am missing 3k max magicka , i triple checked everything from passives to bufffood to CP, do you have any idea why that could be? Im High Elf as race, so i even have max Magicka as race passive. Edit 2: Just did my first BG, we won SO hard and easily thanks to some decent DDs ...and 1.2 Million healing done 😂 That is actually the most fun ive had playing PvP for years! :D
Hi there Tim! I do have a suggestion for PvP. There is a note in the written guide that says: "For significantly more survivability and ability spam while sacrificing some utility, replace the Spell Power Cure set for the Eternal Vigor Set. Use 4 heavy armor pieces and impenetrable traits." I found myself using that version almost exclusively for PvP after a while. It allows you to spam much more and is a bit safer. It also comes in Heavy so you can add more heavy pieces and front line better for your team. I would also work this in for sure: ua-cam.com/video/hT4xOfl_jxE/v-deo.html&t Regarding stats, it's hard to tell without actually seeing your set up. Check out #2b here for a suggested list: www.thegameroom.tv/build-faq AWESOME WORK in your BG! 💪 I am so glad you are enjoying it so much. That's what it's all about right there. 🙏
@Dooma Thanks a lot, I'll try it with Eternal Vigor, that sounds good! I've played a few dozen BGs now and I'm still loving this build! Especially in solo BGs most teams usually don't have a "real" healer and the difference is like night and day having one in your team. It's so much fun! :)
Probs a stupid question. But how can you have 2 different sets on an still have 5/5 items bonus passives active. But only have 9 spots available. Haha does that make any sense or am i seeing something wrong
Hi there! First, thank you for the comment and apologies for the super delayed response. 🙏 I am just returning from being out from surgery. This isn't a stupid question at all and a super common one. Your weapon count's as 2 spots for set bonuses in ESO.
Hi Ahbenshaut! That can work good for PVE, or Powerful Assault as well. For PVP you are going to need the sustain/spam ability to keep yourself and players topped off. I have actually been playing the alternative option listed on the website more than the standard version of this build for pvp, with a bit better results in higher mmr BGs. It allows you to spam even more healing/damage output, at the cost of major courage buff. Both work fine, just more situational/play style dependent. Great question, thank you!
This build is different then your build on the website. Should I use this video for PvE and PvP build rather then the website version? I want to be able to heal in both
Hi Elijah! I just checked the site and it's up to date with this build. I think you may have clicked "ONE BAR HEALER" rather than "ULTIMATE 1 BAR HEALER (PVE + PVP)" It's just a bit below the other One Bar Healer versions. www.thegameroom.tv/templar-builds
Hi there and welcome to ESO! This still works the same. Check out the pinned comment for a bit more information as well with gear. I ended up preferring the option shown there for BGs.
Hi Jesse! I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know, thank you! I just fixed it. It's the same link, I just had to re-copy/paste it. I still don't know what causes that exactly. Sometimes UA-cam randomly codes a copy/pasted link funky and its seems totally random. Thanks again, I really appreciate it, and thank you for watching!
You should have no problems in vBRP as a healer with this set up. I suggest going the full heal set up mentioned in the video with Radiating Regen + Orbs for the two flex spots. vBRP is mostly a survivability/mechanics arena. As long as you are pumping out the heals and your team is navigating mechs, you'll be fine. From a healing standpoint, you'll have more HPS than you need.
@@ashmain1880 Im sure you can make it work, but just keep in mind with this set up you are a always a healer first (even when leaning into damage, I still always back off and heal as a priority when thats needed). So if you swap stuff around to mainly do damage and then offheal as the main way to play, youll just end up being a weak dps a lot of the times without putting out much heals. You may be better off going a full damage dealer route with some side off heals to add to the team. Something like this could do that well: ua-cam.com/video/uhcD00X-R0w/v-deo.html It all depends on how you want to play honestly. There isnt a wrong answer as long as you are having fun and arent holding anyone/team back with the build choices.
