I love Kennedy halves. I was a senior in high school during the Bicentennial and used kennedy's in everyday money. I know not a lot of people care for them, but I will keep collecting them for the memories.
I have many tubes of these particular coins.... I have a lot of work to do!!! Thanks for all u do J and B, gonna pull them out right away. God bless to the family
I have a bicentennial half dollar in my collection and a 1971D also. I'm working on my collection. I love the pennies and I have lots of fun filling my books. Thanks for your information. Lessons well learned. G H. NY.
I don't really know much of anything about coins but I ended up with a handful of half dollars. I saw that one was different so I looked it up. It looks great as well!
I definitely collect these great coins. Infact just sent one out for grading which has strong DDR features on the letterings. I'm expecting at least a 63 or 64 on the grading. However, to me of better importance will be the DDR stamp. Let's see what happens 😃
My dad passed away two years ago and left me a coin collection. I have some of all of the coins pennies nickels dimes, quarters and half dollars and some rare other dollars . some Sue Susan B Anthony dollars I have no idea what any of this is worth, but I would like to go through it all and sell it and take the money that I can get for it, I am new to this and I am new to your channel and I will be watching more videos. PS ….Thank you very much Dianne ….. really don’t have a clue of what any of this is worth or how to get rid of them and get the money that it is truly worth. !😮 😂
I started collecting coins in 1976 and I concentrated on collecting Bicentennial quarters. I've recently started collecting coins again after a lapse of about 35 years and I have been pleasantly surprised at how many Bicentennial halves that I have found in rolls purchased from a bank. Unfortunately a brother of mine has "stolen" most of the 1976 quarters that I collected.
I have a sms 64 and maybe 30 Kennedy's in including bicentennials that I haven't went thru yet. The 64 was handed down with instructions from my grandmother that I was to give it to my son from my grandfather. I was 8. I held on it for 53 years then a couple of life long friends stole it from me . The tail is to long to tell. I recovered it two days short of a year later and both of them have had terrible carma ever sense. The cleaned the tarnish of from it and some how made the mark under the 4 harder to see the teardrop.its only visible from a certain angle , though their hard to see anyway without a powerful lence.
Thank you, but the credit goes to my wife, B. She is doing the research for the content for our videos, choosing the topics, writing the scripts, basically creating the entire video from the start to the end. I only read her scripts😊
My uncle was a hoarder, direct from the bank. He owed 11 banks from 1930-1970’s and hoarded a lot of uncirculated coins including 2000 of these bicentennial coins which I inherited. I’ve always considered them worthless and never looked at them carefully.
I've got two half dollar coins for change in my life. A Bicentennial about a two years ago and 1971 three days ago at Lowe's. Surprised me when cashier handed it to me. Looking back I should have asked if he had anymore in his till and trading them out if so. Maybe next time lol.
I have four of them two of them are bicentennial when I get home from work today I will check them out thanks for the information and one of them is gold-plated and has a Lincoln stamp face to face with Kennedy
I have two each of the bicentennial halves and dollars that my grandmother gave me and have been sitting in a box since 76! I don't know anything about coins, or how to even check if they're special lol Always thought they were cool, though. Thanks for the vid!
I do not per se collect Kennedy half dollars or bicentennial for that matter, but if I come across either I hold on to them. This April 2024 I was at a Chase Bank and on a fluke, I asked if they had rolls of Kennedy half dollars. I never searched rolls before. I just asked for 2 rolls and they contained (6) bicentennials. None were silver or S. I found Five D's and one with no mint mark.

I've been goin to this same gas station for the last few years & noticed almost every time the change I get back has at least 1 82'-84' cent. But not old dirty brown like usual. They look like they've been made recently. Very shiny & clean looking. Point is a ?. I'm newish to looking at change etc, still not sure what's worth grading or putting up. So far seems to be errors like dbl dies etc. But wondering, coins like these or even somewhat newer, are they worth the grading & the selling?
I have 16 bicentennial 1/2 dollars in near perfect condition, 8 Bicentennial Dollars, and 3 quarters, one I believe to be silver. (7 grams). Can u discuss the process of how and the best places to get coins graded. I have tons of great couns, it's time to sell
I don’t necessarily collect them but have a bunch of all the Kennedy halves I’ve just always kept them in fact I believe I probably have a bunch from every year
Hello JB coins I have 2 Bicentennial 1/2 dollars they were stored in a leather pouch, now they have green corrosion on them would like to know if they can be cleaned or better sold the way they are. Thanks .

I have some Kennedy half dollars and I have a 1776-1976 S proof set and the silver dollar has half of the U missing in TRUST and has doubling.. it's still sealed up do you think I should get these coins graded?
I have many of the bicentennial half dollars. I have 6 that are in really nice condition in my opinion based off of what I’ve seen in comparison. I have one with what looks like a strike error on the obverse. Looks like there was some trash on the stamp and when it hit it obscured the dates. You can see the 1 then it’s half blurred out to the 76.
I have one of these coins in the UK its off center it has hardly any lip on the left hand side wear the the 1776 is. And it's in good condition... Is it worth keeping?
I just found one of these at work paid 50 cents for it and it's in awesome condition not sure I'm will to pay 50+ dollars to have it graded but the more I research it I'm kinda rethinking that
Very interesting, quick question for the experts out there, ive got one of these & a '64 half dollar, both a bit dirty, how should i clean them? Silver polish?
I have so much collected, half, ike, Susan b, tons of quarters from the 60's and up to current date, I have a fortune of coins!! I need help, bicentennial pieces everywhere!
I have a 1984 Kennedy half dollar that when compared to another 1984 that I have, Kennedys head is slightly larger than the other coin, and the same with the size of the coin itself. The outer rim is smooth as well, no ridges. Nothing matches up when I overlay the two coins. Especially the lettering in the word LIBERTY. Any thoughts?? Appreciate your time...
I have a 2000 Kennedy half that weighs in at 11.00 grams, and a 1984 D that weighs only 9.65 grams that is struck with the back off about 45 degrees. Any information about these?
I just got one of these coins from a store for change and it’s got a defect and misprint on it it has a second dot underneath his neck right above the dot between the years is it worth anything for a misprint
I have 2 of these, 1 looks regular and the 2nd one looks silvery with no color on the edge, the silver almost looks white, I have no idea what to look for, any tips, thank you

I have a Kennedy half dollar but the one I have has more of a shine to it than the rest. I'm just wondering if it has any value to it. It doesn't have a mint mark to it either
