did you ever get to the door window regulators, none of mine work except the driver side?
You got it fixed ? My w221 having the same problems
Try getting them reprogrammed before changing anything. My passenger side front and rear wasn't working. The mechanic brought the software and reprogrammed it and now both are working. He charged me $350, which most was labor I'm thinking.
if all the regulators aren't working then it could be the door switch not working. Tackle the cheapest option first. And if you can buy from Amazon do so so that your able to send the parts back you dont need
@@donpablo929 yes it fixed my issue and still holding strong till today
@@dr.michaelw.hopkins5884 i didnt have to reprogram mine. just replace and thats all
I ordered 4 different resistors from amazon and they all didn’t work, what model works?
Your video was a big help
Glad it helped you!
Hey Bro, Thank you for this video I just changed my blower motor on my 2007 Mercedes s550. I watched your video and found the confidence to do it myself.
Great bro!! I’m glad this video was some help to you!! Thanks for watching
@@540tv6 Thank you so much for this video. I have the exact same issue here and I think, like Braxton, I just found the confidence to do it myself. I have a diagnostic appointment with the Mercedes dealership in 2 days and that alone is going to cost me twice the amount of the AC blower part... hahaha. I think I will cancel the appointment and give this a shot.
@@severtone263 wow glad this video was a help and yea cancel that and do it yourself to save money!!! We love our Mercedes but we know the dealership will charge us an arm and leg and keep the vehicle for hours to days
@@540tv6 And then if you are lucky they try to entice you with a loaner car .... lol... which is what they did to me. What "symptoms" was the car showing for you to determine that it was definitely the blower motor gone bad? after watching a few videos, including yours, I am 90% sure it is the same issue you had... but how can I be 100% sure, especially with no error code or repair light on the dash?
@@severtone263 my symptoms were my air wasn’t blowing at all.
I have a 2007 S550 119k seems like everything is dying in the car. My sunroof motor is grinding when you push the button, sunroof won’t open because of the biodegradable rubber mounting MB use back in the day. My headlight casing rubber that goes around the headlight turn into tar like glue(biodegradable rubber). Last 2 week ago driver side airmatic suspension blown, car drop to ground. Bought pair cheap front airmatic for $350 on eBay. Replaced the broken one, save other for future. Last week the AC was dead. It started a few months back, AC was coming on delayed and intermittent problem. I took out blower motor and spray the motor with mass air flow cleaner, and scrub the fan blade with micro fibre towel on small screw driver and soapy waters. Lubricate the motor housing on both side shaft with WD40, installed new resister box from eBay for $40, AC is working fine now. The summer temp here in NV is
105-112* F daily. I guess people don’t call MB a money pit for nothing.
I feel you 100%
Thanks for the video bro! Did mine this weekend. I used a right angled screwdriver with a long attachment to get off the screws in the back and side. East job.. your video helped. Peace and blessings
thanks for watching bro! yea that right angled will make like easier ....i gotta get me one lol
Brother...same problem...i am in the UK...there is resistor available for 30 gbp unbranded one with 1 year warranty...can i buy it?
Hey, good morning from Miami. Your video was extremely helpful because I have the same problem with mine. I have a 2011 S550 Brabus and just left the AC shop I've used for years. They gave me a deal at 870.00 to do exactly what you just did for a fraction of the price. Of course they claim they had to refill the freon afterwards also. 🙄 Thanks for exposing them and showing me how simple the procedure is. I'm ordering the parts now for PartsGeek and gonna do it myself with my 16 year old son to help. I'll let you know how it turns out.
I’m glad everything worked out for you…. Let’s save money!
My 2013 has the same issue
hopefully this video helped you out alot!
My i ask you a question please. Was your blower motor working but just not blowing hot air? Thank you.
Take it to the dealer for windows it’s not regulator it just need a update
What was the issue? Why did you replace the Regulator? My w221 S500 from 2006 has a issue code A32n1 Blower Regulator Lin-Bus no communication. And the blower goes itself on with full heat at 30°C outside Temp. Can anyone help me?
Noise
thanks man I'll change mine your video was helpful
Great it helped you!
My friend, thanks for the video. I wonder how water can get to this motor? On my car, water gets near the motor and gets wet, which is why it shuts off periodically. Please tell me where to start to solve the problem?
Maybe from the AC or rain water traveling into the dash
Hey dude, awesome job on replacing this yourself. Curious to know tho how are these parts holding up so far?? I’m having the same issue on my car, dealer is suggesting we replace the resistor first. Charging an arm. And then if blower also needs to be replaced, they’ll charge a leg as well.
whats up man, everything is holding on strong. no issues since the repair.
@@540tv6 awesome, glad to hear that bro.
It helped me out thanks.
Do a video on how to remove the back sit. I have S600 and I have a gas leak and I need to remove the sit to check the gas pump.
Did you ever figure out how to remove the back seats?
@@540tv6 oh yeah. It was probably the easiest thing that I've ever done to that car. I feel stupid once I figured it out. A shop was trying charge me $900 to do it. But it is really easy.
@@deruin78 ok cool!!
Kudos and thanks to you for a great instructional video
you're welcome, hope you got everything squared away!
Thanks player
I have the same exact problem. Thanks!
You’re welcome!!
Thanks fam. That was really helpful.
thanks for watching man...did you get yours changed out?
love it
Great video thanks
You’re welcome hope it worked out for you.
Thank you this helped!
I'm having the same issue 3rd time the ac or heat would not come on. Noticed it cuts on if I drive or rough turn.
did you ever get it changed out?
Thanks Brotha... I watched your video and it explained a lot. I have a s550 2008 4matic and I was able to smack the bottom of the Glove compartment and my air came back on. I think I may be able to tackle this repair. 😳 Much appreciated Brotha. 🙏🏾
thats whats up bro, smacking the compartment is a fix for sure. usually dust is causing it to stop...maybe clean it out before buying parts
