I reaaallly want super 8 ektachrome back. I've only made one colour positive film and watched it on my pops projector. To do it again even with Kodak film would be amazing.
Amazing footage! The colours are so rich and vibrant. I'm thinking of buying a Nizo 148 Macro off of Ebay , but I'm not sure how the finished product will compare to this. Just wondering if you know anything about the performance of the 148 compared to the 156 and 561? Any help would be hugely appreciated
jbode11 I remember the 148 was super easy to use. Granted this was shot like 6 or so years ago. But it was compact and quiet and basic. The 481 and 561’s are nice and have more features compared to the small guys. I think my Seattle super 8 video is a 481? And my California super 8 video is a 561?? I remember the 561 macro being my favorite though. Now I just use an s560.
TheBarnShredding Hey man, got a bit of an issue with my camera and was wondering if you might know anything about it. I ended up buying an Elmo 1012 S-XL for a decent price . Everything seems to work fine , except when I look through the viewfinder there's this weird little red , translucent square in the bottom right . Can't find any info about this sort of thing and I don't have a manual. You ever heard of this sort of thing before?
Shot at 1:19 is amazing. Do you know what was causing the jitter? Is it the camera? I like the skateboarding shots too and how your camerawork goes with the music. I like when the feeling you get from skate videos are smooth and about they style of the skater which relates to the camerawork. Rather that being utter chaos.

Howie Held This is coming back isn't it?
they are!!!! Specta film and video
where did you get the film, and how did you upload it to modern file
I don't think you'll be disappointed.
If you like BOC, you should give Bibio a listen. 8mm film and Bibio seem to go hand in hand.

Thanks for your super helpfulreply. I ended up finding a bargain for an Elmo 1012 S-XL in the end - I'm excited to try it out!

Awesome! Thank you!
Honestly I've never listened to them, I will have to give them a shot.
thank you!
It's been a bit. Beautiful looking. Has there been anything done in camera about registration with the film cassettes in these last 10 yrs?
Sounded like Boards of Canada a little bit.
