That was a pretty spectacular improvement on the golden wall. A lot of people will have a new pleasant sight. The red brick (car park?) turned out very nicely, pulled it all together to look handsome with the home. Glad you have Kevin to help.

Been lurking around for a couple weeks now! I must start my commenting with this video. You did just fine standing your ground, in the last video, without becoming the aggressor. You maintained your dignity and clearly the other gentleman was having an off morning/afternoon (I really hope. I wouldn’t want him to be like that always. That would be a sad life.) and escalated his behavior every time he spoke, until he sounded ridiculous and had nowhere else to go. All in all, you handled it well. Thanks for these videos. I enjoy watching them!
With that last one, I bet the neighbour was on to you for a quote before this video was published! An amazing difference.
BTW you mentioned hard water. With you now using steam will you not have problems with equipment furring up? If so, is a water softener on the cards?

Syd, you did such a wonderful job with that huge wall. I bet the customer feels so good about their home again. It seems silly, but these simple things can really make a difference. I'm an Interior Designer, and sometime it's a new coat of paint, some new window treatments, or even a few pieces of furniture being reupholstered that makes a house a home. Great job!!!
What I particularly like about this channel is that it doesn't do ASMR and the work is straight and honest work.
I just followed the YT algorythm and watched a video from a carpet cleaning channel. I've got the impression that they are not so honest, it seems they threw the carpets into a mud pit themselves. In any case, I can't imagine that a 100 x 140 cm IKEA rug for childrens can get so dirty that it takes five washes to clean it, and if it were really that badly soiled, someone would put so much effort into a €30 rug.
Somehow I felt cheated by this channel. But not here.

It’s usually bleach - helps brighten it up and remove any tiny lingering moss/algae spots pressure washing might have missed
that is the hydrochloric acid (aka Bleach) it kills all the lichens and everything else that was left on the stone.
Bleach is extremely effective with the problem that it's so effective it also harms everything else if not treated properly.
Close, sodium hypochlorite:D I don’t use any acids, scares me 😱
You are 100% motivating me to improve my business and my son is going to join me from next September part time for at least 2 years while at college so gaining more work, window cleaning jobs coming in thick and fast now i`ve started to advertise again. Just started to let my window cleaning customers know i`m adding roof and pressure washing surfaces got one roof scrape booked in. Cheers Sid lad.

I love that your customers make you tea....so nice. I usually offer our laborers cold lemonade or water. Tea is so much more civilized. I am from Canada originally and I love a cup of tea in the afternoon. But here in Baltimore, Maryland, they don't do afternoon tea......

This video was great Sid!! That wall was just beautiful!!! I seen the last video with the church and the not so nice neighbor. If they are aware of him then you know he is just a big bully. I just kept thinking It's just water it's not hurting anything !!! Anyhoo, GLAD the week ended on a better note and it was sweet of your customer offering you the tea.
Watching you grow you business has been wonderful. Two vans on the road, an employee and many happy customer’s. Good for you. Now you need a good financial planner to help you invest your profits and grow them. A good accountant too.
When I saw the thumbnail, | thought he's got to mean kerb, rather than curb. But after seeing how much you stuff into one day, I think you picked the right word after all. You work too hard. If you're ever down my way, I'll treat you to tea, cake and at least a half hour break. Smashing work.

That first brick house was beautiful.
Sid, get yourself a downstream injector to add inline with your new setup and use SH to clean your projects. Pressure alone merely removes the stain but does not kill the algae. SH really brightens the houses. It seems there is not much vinyl in the UK, which SH really works magic on, but it also works really well on brick and stucco. It makes your work much easier. I know the xjet gives a higher %age rate than a downstream injector, but it would be nice to add that to your arsenal. I Enjoy your channel. Keep up the hard work, my friend. From Tennessee, USA.

Just a heads up, Be careful with the lead flashing. Costly mistake to lift and soak under, not to mention if you bend it up and then dont roll it back as it can cause even more damage latter on 👍

@@brotoubrotou3164 It's a water saving measure when we, in the UK, have had a long period of little rainfall. Basically they ban the use of hosepipes for watering gardens, washing cars and pressure washing etc - but commercial use is allowed - i.e. Sid is allowed to keep Pressure Washing but some customers might not understand he is allowed.
Cleaning the statue at 9 minutes is kind of what it feels like is required to clean my daughter sometimes :D

that is very often the case. and they might ask if they see someone doing it to do it for them or try it them selves.
Unfortunately most people are at work during the cleans but i do often get a call from the neighbours a few days later :D
Interesting to hear in the video how stressed you are about the church video. Having seen that one as well, let me just say, I think you should be easier on yourself in regards to it. Could you have handled it better? Mate, part of being human is the realization that all of us can almost ALWAYS handle something better. That's life and learning. All things considered though, I think you did the best anyone could have in that situation, barring perhaps an offer to use the window wipe tool you used in the beginning of this one. But even an offer for that probably would have fallen on deaf ears, considering he was trying to steam-roll you (ironic that, isn't it? Since you had the steam tool). Either way, I think it's important to have a policy of not caving beneath everyone's demands. We'd already seen in the video you were being conscientious of your effect on others, what with earlier debating on how to clean with all the traffic. Also, it's not like you aren't a good person.. you do way more charity cleans than anyone else I've ever seen. Which I suppose is disconnected from the video in question. But yeah, basically this comment is a long-winded way to say, you're doing alright. And if YOU'RE worried about it, find the one or two things in that video that YOU feel you might have reacted better to, and do better next time. Even though it's clear your aren't the aggressor.

Good to see you crack on. There would be so many places to clean in Germany. Sadly, you wouldn't get any money. Only around 30 percent of us have not! an appartment with high rental costs or in other words we are living in much worse conditions than rest of europe with 60 percent or more people have there own "castle". And there is nearly no leftover money for cleaning jobs like that.
E. g. cleaning a roof here... you would be called crazy. Be proud to life in UK. I dream on, how our houses and patios should be. You are inspiring me.

The Isle of Great Britain we love you really a beautiful place I'd like to see you do some place like a large patio area that was used in Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley overlooking the reflective pond on the night she wed Darcy. Those torches illuminating the swans on the lake would be a great backdrop. You might want to contact downtown Abbey productions they may be interested in sponsoring you on a location shot... Well you did ask for suggestions, LOL. You could always buy Florida and pressure wash my tiki ... He's concrete ways about 150 lb as a large top knot very interesting and carrying him around wherever I move from for a long time. And you I think a location shot yeah I think so! Now comes to meat of the sandwich our accents are so different I'm good with languages but sometimes I have difficulty following what you're talking about please take your time there are certain words like properly that we pronounce differently! I don't know what type of camera equipment you use, but consider looking into hydrophobic lens coating or filter, and a polarized filter to reduce glare. Those things usually aren't very expensive and can help the quality of your videos.
