    Hello Sebastian, I can’t believe you’re writing about the “Originale” Miss Dior. I have a story to share with you about Miss Dior. During my first honeymoon in 1972 I traveled to France 🇫🇷 and visited the maison Christian Dior on 30 Avenue Montaigne. I fell in love with and both a bottle of the original Miss Dior. When I met my second husband’s family in 1984, his mother, my soon to be mother in law’s signature fragrance was Miss Dior, the original…. She and I always wore Miss Dior and I would buy it for her on her birthdays and Christmas. It got more and more difficult to find, to the point where I would have to order it from Bergdorf Goodman’s in NYC to make sure it was the original fragrance and made in France. I still always own a bottle of it and love it.

    The new miss Dior is, too me, is just a sugar bomb. The vintage or original miss Dior is like elegance, grace and class in a bottle.

    I also tried this one 2 years ago because I liked the bottle (and classic perfumes) and now it reminds me a lot of Gentleman (the 1974 one) ...it must be the patchouli and flower notes that they have in common. I am a guy but this one could be a purchase considering its green quality and unisex caracter in my opinion...

    Miss dior originale esprit the parfum layered with molecule 01 is a completely new planet!! They waltz together so perfectly that it seems like molecule 01 has been the missing note to make miss dior perfect. It takes and gives until the scent is perfect. 20 minutes after you applied molecule 01 on miss dior, a new scent is born

      Ps: when the boring l'homme libre from yves saint laurent meets molecule 01 a irresistable new scent was born. Its so heavenly good!! And... i have a cheap and flat terre de hermes clone from the drugstore. When you cover the scent with molecule 01,it smells exactly like the original terre that i also own.

      It’s quite green and aldehydic as N°19 indeed, but I think one of the major differences between them is the lily of the valley in this one and the galbanum in N°19.

    Hello and thanx for the Video. I found 2 Bottles that looks completely the same except for the word originale under miss dior. I have already 2 abottles of Miss dior originale. Is it worth buying it? I already have an old bottle of the esprit de parfum. And its heavenly. Have a nice day

      I believe the major difference is the Originale word on the label. To my experience they smell the same.
      If you care for older bottles I’d say the one without the Originale on the label would be the best for you, otherwise, the other one or even a brand new from a shop. :)

      @@sebastianfurtado3740 hmmm!!!🙄.. i did not listen to you and bought 2 more Miss dior Eau de toilettes cause i was hoping they would smell different but.....they dont. You where right!! I bought one 100ml with only miss dior Eau de toilette on the label and one with miss dior eau de toilette Christian Dior on the label. I would not say it was a waste of money because they all are heavenly but it was not nessesary to buy 400ml Miss dior (4× 100ml) when they all smell the same. I thought the miss dior originale Eau de toilettes have been formulated somehow. But- nope!! But the esprit de parfum originale is more delicate and royal to my nose. The original Miss Dior is quite lovely. Someone kindly gave me a sample of the EdT from 1999 once. I think it was Diorissimo that was famous for its lily of the valley? Dior really confused me with their bait and switch tactics so I don’t really pay much attention to them. I can get along with Guerlain selling one and the same fragrance under different names but different fragrances under one name? No. 😂

      @sebastianfurtado3740  Рік тому +1

      Well!! If you bought it and you loved the smell it means that you have great taste!! 🥰🥰
      If you don’t feel comfortable wearing it yet because you feel it’s probably a bit too mature for you, wear it once in awhile a couple months apart so you can develop feelings for it and become more comfortable. I used that technique with most of the classics that I absolutely love today but couldn’t stand when I was first introduced to them. I hope that helps! 🥰

    • @sebastianfurtado3740
      @sebastianfurtado3740  2 роки тому

      I’m very skeptical with vintages especially after a very disappointing experience I had recently with a sealed vintage bottle.
      I bought this pristine bottle of an extract that I love, sealed and all. When I opened it and applied on my skin it was so off that I literally gave it away the next day. :/
      I like experiencing the perfume from the moment I apply it on my skin to its very last moments, and I find that vintages can be super tricky because many times they go off. :/

      That can be the case for sure. It depends on many factors actually.
      But sometimes you can find an old, sealed bottle in perfect condition but still won’t be as fresh as it was when it was originally created and sometimes you can have the bad luck of finding a bottle in perfect kept condition that smells like vinegar like I did, not long ago. 😂😂😂

      @@sebastianfurtado3740 I read and read about Miss Dior and finally bought Miss Dior originale. But then I read the original does not say original on it. Anyway, it does not smell vinagery, but it doesn’t smell wonderful like I was expecting it to. There was something about it that reminded me of the old and not pleasant scent of Tweed. I know that sounds crazy if you have ever smelled it.n
      I wanted a wonderful new ( to me) scent. I thought I loved Chanel Allure best of all. Had a bottle years ago that I adored, but the new sample I just tried was disappointing. Sigh. I think Im going to stick with my old standby Shalimar. It never disappoints and I don’t have unlimited funds to spend over $100 and end up not loving it.
