I love Diorissimo and L'heure bleu. It's so nice to have a signature scent. When I want to think of my Mom, I wear her Fracas or l'air du temps. 😢 yes, it's sad, but it is good. ❤
You look stunning in that color, and the top is also beautiful!! I used to wear Christian Dior, Diorissomo, back in the 80’s. I love the smell of lily-of-the-valley, it is the epitome of femininity♥️🌹💞
Thank you so much for your nice comment. Lily of the valley is one of the most complex and sophisticated ingredients into perfumes because it can be extracted and distilled naturally. It had to be completely build artificially; so it is really an art to make this artificial lily of the valley the closest possible to the natural one. I will make a video about the best Lily of the Valley perfumes. Some of the best are diorissimo, Pur Muguet by Cartier, Muguet by Hermes, Fleurissimo by Creed..
Thank you so much! I think the idea of the signature perfume is very beautiful in that sense that you won't have more than 3/4 signature perfumes in your life and you basically live with this perfumes and build memories and feelings. I like the fact that some people remember you just with one perfume.
I do not have really a signature perfume but I do have a signature brand that is Chanel. I do love and own different brands like Guerlain, Dior, Laura Biagotti, YSL but I always go back eventually to Chanel. I love their boutique line Les Exclusifs and own many of them. My favourite from commercial line is N 5 and N 19 but also Coco and Allure. I love also lily of the valley and the most beautiful one I smelled is Muguet from Guerlain but unfortunately too expensive form me. Therefore, I have Diorissimo which is in my opinion very close to Guerlain one.
It makes sense because Lily of the Valley blows in May and is really the symbol of the Spring season. But Diorissimo is a very intense Lily of the Valley and the fresh opening notes tend to disappear for a deep, creamy and silky Lily of the Valley. The civet and sandalwood notes gives more intensity. It gives a lot of warmth, which is perfect for winter.
I watched your review about boucheron edp, bought it blindly and have zero regrets. What a wonderful gorgeous perfume. Im a middle eastern man and we wear feminine perfumes no problem since we believe all perfumes are genderless. I haven't tried Diorissimo and I'll try it after your high praise. Thank you.
My favourite Dior perfume of all time is Dior-Dior launched 1976 by the great Edmond Roudnitska, sadly discontinued after a very short run. Luckily I still have a vintage bottle.
Funnily, if you can imagine an American of about 13-14 years old in 1973 or 1974ish, the cereal Cheerios had a promotion wherein if you sent in four box top coupons from their cereal you would get three little bottles of perfume. I ate my cereal diligently and finally mailed in my box tops and received little bottles of Diorella, Diorissimo and Dioressence, I believe. Diorissimo was my favorite. Meanwhile I had chosen to take French when I entered Junior High school rather than a different language because I wanted to be able to pronounce French perfumes and wine.
Thank you for watching my video! I just love your story🥰. A box of cereal for some Dior perfumes….nowadays they send you back fake plastic rings…and the fact you remember that diorissimo was your favorite 😻. Yes, you definitely need to learn French to know how to pronounce French perfumes😂
Great video ! my signature was Dune by Dior , later Sensuous Noir Estee Lauder but now is Shalimar Initial and Etro Etra .....Best regards from POLAND :)
I used to adore Lily of the Valley... because for me it is so close to Jasmim, which is my favoutite flower. I grew up with a very large and tall bush in Alexandria Egypt to be exact. But lately, I bought many different perfumes in an effort to collect all the vintages, while they are still available, 60 bottles or so I purchased in a very short time, and I exposed myself to many different fragrances and new to me fragrances. All this exposure seems to have changed my olfactory sense, and I think I no longer like Lily of the valley! Because I bought Molinard Muguet, Diorissimo, Coty Muguet des Bois, but I find all of them to be disappointing and to be so very harsh! (If you know Molinard Muguet I would love to have your opinion on it)... anyway, my search for a lily of the valley fragrance I can fall in love with continues.
I discovered this and Boucheron's jaipur bracelet from your channel and they are simply underrated but fantastic perfumes . You have really lovely taste in fragrance
A very deep and personal review! In my country I can only find the edt. Apart fron the longevity, do you detect other differences? On me the edt is not creamy unfortunately. Especially in winter. I d like to hear your opinion for edt. Thank you
I prefer EDP than EDT because of the intensity of the notes. In the EDP the base is more intense and the Lily of the Valley is more powdery. In the EDT it is more fresh and light. But if you can't find the EDP, go for the EDT!
Que hermosa fragancia es Diorissimo!! es sutil pero encantador Lo tuve en botella 100 ML y lamentablemente falló el sistema que une el vaporizador al cuello del frasco y lo perdí casi todo en mi bolso!!😣 💋
Yes it is a very beautiful perfume. Very intense white flower with very long sillage. In the same family as Fleurissimo by Creed. Too bad for your spray :(
@@Aliceinparisofficial I'm so sorry to say that the EDP is discontinued! No longer being made so maybe buy some up whilst it's still out there on 3rd party retail sites. Why do these companies alwasy discontinue the best versions/perfumes.
Unfortunately Diorissimo gets completely sour on my skin. Very sad, I really wanted to like this perfume, smells very chic and I love the bottle. By the way, you look stunning in your new hair! :)
Thank you so much for watching my videos! Yes every perfume is different depending on the skin that's why perfumes are so complex and sophisticated! It smells amazing on me and the lily of the valley stays really well on my skin.
You have a wonderful channel. I love your perspective. Do you have any thoughts on what a signature perfume might be for a 17 year old dancer (ballet?)
I cannot tell which version you are reviewing. There seem to be so many different variations of Diorissimo, even the EDP -and which year? Can you say where you purchase it? You have an Amazon link but it goes to EDT even though you recommended the EDP.
Diorella is an intense fresh and chypre perfume. Smells very elegant! I will make a video about the rest of the Dior collection because these perfumes are amazing!
I love Dior Asimo, but it does not stay for a long time. I would like you to suggest another perfume that is close, so that I can mix them together to get long lasting scent
did you try the edp or the edt? the edp lasts longer. Usally lily of the valley is very evanescent because its synthetic. Mix it with white perfume with tuberose which will add some groundedness and opulence. I will think about some names

Thanks to you, I discovered Boucheron by Boucheron and I simply adore it. I'm seriously considering making it my signature scent 💙
Thank you! I am so glad that you discovered your signature perfume. Boucheron is a favorite of mine that I like to wear for a night....

It’s my favorite, but I only wear it in spring.Which is a silly rule. After watching your video I will wear it through all the seasons. Why not.❤️
