Shoutout to Dirk's wife for giving him those leftover plates he used to walk into games with
Thats how we knew he was cool
Obviously Dallas fans are enamored with Luka, as they should be, but Dirk has given Dallas sports fans something that grows rarer and rarer in pro basketball: loyalty. We Dallas fans can only hope Luka gives us near as many great years as Dirk did. Growing up and rooting for this humble superstar was an absolute pleasure.
Luka also needs help as a potential GOAT. Mavs Organization should also be loyal.
@@de-graftasafo-adjei4646 potential goat lmfao hes not even top 50 and still hasnt won one ring for the franchise
You are pathetic everybody knows that he is great
Luka isn't Dirk. Get that out yo head. Luka gonna leave.
@@mikeoxlong3676god I hope you’re wrong. Hopefully they can keep some talent around him to keep him happy
Every time I watch Dirk give an interview, I gain an appreciation for him. He just really seems down to earth.
DIRK NOWITZKI is my favorite player I love hearing him talk about his family. He is always down to earth.
Me too Dirk is da Man
Too bad he lowered himself and Married a black woman. I figured with $200 million he’d do better. Guess not
@@welfareleech1525 Just leave it to Dirk. If he wanted to humbled...LET IT BE!
Nuff said!
Dirk great men
Integrity and class
Killing goat's are not Dirks thing, unless it's the 2011 NBA finals.
Lmao
I'm dead!!☠️☠️☠️
snakes dont eat snakes, goat do kill goats
Jesus!
🥶 lmfao
Why does the UA-cam algorithm hate you so much Graham? This should have way more views and you should have at least a few million subs by now

Dirk not to toot your horn , but admiration is in order. You and you WIFE are so down to earth. Forget sports, just the humanism is what strikes me. Never took much stock in entertainmenters before.
This guy is straight class 👍👍. Good guy
Hearing him talk this much makes me realize just how German he is. Class act.
1:33 Kenya 🇰🇪 representing, again
Hureey💯
Met this guy once in Munich, nicest person I met so far 🤣😂
Beautiful family. Blessed.
In Dallas we received so much from this man and the memories are priceless. Thank you for your loyalty.
This guy is truly keeping himself together since retirement from the NBA..
LOVE Luka, but Dirk is and ALWAYS will be the MAN regarding basketball in Dallas! GREAT person, GREAT player, BEAUTIFUL wife and family. Salute Dirk and continued success!!!!!!!
Dirk is a great guy! I seen him play numerous times.
My main man Nowitzki. Always been a fan.
Graham, just wanna say your work is greatly appreciated. Always do a great interview, insightful and respectful. You the man Graham.
Thanks Joe! We really appreciate it! -Mario
@@GrahamBensinger I've been subbed for YEEEEEEARS! Love the content.
Except when he ruined TOs career in Philly because we was scared of speaking up due to his boss telling him to stay out of it. Years later he apologized to Owen but tremendous damage was done already
@@GrahamBensingergraham i am with PETA, shame on you for not reporting this man to the police & not even saying anything about him being apart of MURDER. That goat had every right to live, instead they played with its life for some sick ritual and you sat there smiling about murder. SHAME ON YOU. #PETA
Great human being, has a beautiful wife.
Dirk's wife is a baddie, damn.
:) of course
How relatable is dirk. What a greate dude I've always been a fan of this man and the catapult shot. Good interview
Dirk is the most loyal guy that ever played in the NBA
Wedding in Kenya was the best
My father was part German. I attended a few Family Reunions on the German side. They were really gracious and made me feel very welcomed. Not many people know the names of their grandfathers going all the way back to 1595.
Beautiful memories ❤️
Dirk, one love playa! God bless you and yours
Love You Dirk 👏🏽 hello from New Orleans!!
So humble and down to earth ♥️
This was I really great interview! I just absolutely love Dirk. It sounds like he and his wife have created a really interesting family rich with multiple cultures and languages. That’s wonderful to hear!
Dirk I am a New Yorker but I loved watching you play miss seeing you but all the best to you and your family.
I don’t know Dirk from the next person but he genuinely seems like a good and humble dude. Top 5 power forward of all time IMO.
What a beautiful story and lovely couple
If nothing else, everyone should attend a Kenyan wedding. It’s something else
Honestly man, weddings are different everywhere.
Kenya, Russia, Nigeria, Royal etc...
I could say the rephrase your statement with the above list.
Check out the selection of words and his manners in Dirk's interviews. I like the guy.
Man: Can you kill a goat?? Dirk: I don’t kill my own kind
Truer words have never been spoken
They have a really beautiful family 😊
I wish they would go more in depth about how they met and why she was in Dallas in the first place. His wife has 2 twin brothers that are professional soccer players. Both of them have played in the highest leagues in England and Sweden.
I think one of them is also playing on the national team of Sweden.
wife is half kenyan/half swedish.. out there some people identify themselves by national origin not race..unlike racist amerikka.. dirk is german of course
@@oriegritie1461 the term "racist" is judeo-communist in origin. You're trash for using and perpetuating.
Yea kids have a lot of languages to listen to: Swedish, German and English. Later on Swahili and Luo
kikuyu first
He is a class act and one hell of a player. Big fan of his. Man, he looks like he can still play ball.
A fellow goat dont kill another one, makes sense
Great interview 👍🏽🥰
Great guy
maybe the nicest guy in basketball history.
Love my boy dirk
Dirk has always seemed like a standup guy.
He got the right woman
Rest in peace, to that innocent goat.
Love these interviews
Strongest thoughts 🎉
Very supportive
What good man you’re bro
Wish I found a black baddie😂 Dirk has great taste.
As someone who proposed on a helicopter and DIDN’T get married, I just knew he was going to say that. 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
Dirk Sounds like Nicholas Cage
Nice guy. The Europeans have the right idea about culture because there are so many countries all around them. Nowitzky said that they wanted to expose their kids to as many cultures as possible. How different is that to American thinking. Too many Americans have never even left their own STATE. And learn a second language? Don't make me laugh.
Gotcha Dirk! You forgot when you met your wife lol 😂
Only Americans will be surprised at 3 languages. I was speaking 3 languages at age 5.
All praise be to you. How did you get so humble.😠👎🏼
Kobe Bryant spoke 9 different languages
@@byroneady8126 knowing a few words in different languages does not mean you speak the language. Kobe used to learn a words in different languages to get into his rivals' heads, but he only spoke, fluently, English, Italian and Spanish. I find it funny that every time an American speaks on Americans speaking languages always bring up Kobe's name LOL.
@@TheMickyela I could name more but you wouldn't know them
Not at all. This America family speaks fluently multiple languages 2-4.
That's Kenya for you
That's my issue with kids (I don't have any). Everyone says your life is over and its all about the kids. On the one hand its good to not be selfish, but on the other, I have to give up most of myself for other people??? F that. Maybe Dirk is an exception because he had kids older, is already rich, already retired from a profession, won a championship.. He has already achieved major life goals. For the rest of us, why should we sacrifice all of ourselves, especially before the age of 40 (men). Nahhh
I have quite a few girlfriends who have no interest in having kids but it’s rare to find a dude who doesn’t want kids. Most men do
Dirky...
Dirk u have good taste..wife is definition of beautiful...
HIs accent is damn near completely gone.
Say no more she's Kenyan 🤷🏿♀️
it would be crazy if GOAT killed a goat on the wedding day
Oh, he's just a regular guy on the inside
So he doesnt speak Swedish and his wofe doesnt speak German. How did they boo up then? 😂 I mean, I know they both speak English but still.
So your wife can’t speak Swahili wow
Hey home boy
Stil hav your shirt
Look like a dress on me
Respect
One live Dk
Great - in fact, fantastic player for the NBA + Mavs. Glad you enjoying life Dirk
Dirk komm zurück nach Würzburg. Was willst du denn in Dallas.
Er hat in Dallas mehr Zeit verbracht als in Deutschland... Er hat dort seine Familie, Freunde und eine Stadt die ihn liebt und respektiert, wieso sollte er nach Deutschland ziehen?
Würzburg hahaha . Wer will denn in Würzburg leben ?
@@dwaynew.8849 Low-key eigentlich eine ganz geile Stadt.

Killing a goat over a wedding … nasty
Tradition.. are you a forever vegan?
No, that's called tradition. Getting married while drunk in Las Vegas is nasty LOL
My mom's relatives in Kazakhstan keep killing a sheep to make shashlik every single time we come to visit from Germany. We already considered not going any more^^
@@TheMickyela ...Good o'l American tradition. The Vegas Strip....😆....you leave married and with a couple STD's.
Then you don’t do it.
Im confused why did they sacrifice a goat? Is his wife muslim?
It's part of the African culture to slaughter an animal for a special event.
That's not a Muslim culture, it's Kenyan.
@@amydk274 which African culturw exactly because there are more than than 1000 cultures. With globalisation thete more similarities but cultural distinction are very much present
@@RDCFemmes Kenyan
It wasn’t sacrificed. It was slaughtered to be barbecued and eaten. We eat meat in Kenya, especially during ceremonies and we slaughter our goats. The shocked people live in the West and buy their meat in the supermarket.
Graham is such a coward that he did not ask about the German/family acceptance in marrying a black women. These softball questions truly make for a boring interview. Just for the record so my comment does not get misinterpreted, I believe Dirk’s wife is beautiful and seems very nice.
Why would he ?, this interview is not about German culture, its more about Dirk and his culture if I'd say.
No need to generalize stuff
excellent response. I always thought that too. Dirk was my absolute ALL time hero. and when I found out he married a black woman I lost interest in watching him and the Dallas mavericks.
@@welfareleech1525 hey man, don’t misinterpret my comment. His wife is definitely beautiful and seems very nice. However when the last German superstar married a black women it was a big news story in Germany 🇩🇪.
Why would he asks that you stupid always want to make thing political
