Is it just me or do you want to take some mdma and dance to the background music? 😂😂😂 Excellent choice, and very informative in depth video without getting lost in the weeds of details that may or may not matter.

Good trick when pulling the axle and catching the transmission fluid, I use food containers with quart measurement markings that really help with get very accurate results. Also was your explorer FWD or 4WD with the PTU? I got a 2015 Taurus SHO and got a vibration in the passenger right side but only when going 6k rpm in 1st or 2nd gear. I think it might be the wheel bearing but I'm not sure.

Where did you get the other bracket from? I’m having the same issue and the cv axle spline isn’t all the way flush with the transmission it’s about an inch off

What type of bolt was needed to mount to support flange for the cv axle?

Was this car 4wd? Trying to research what I need to do to replace my PTU output seal. I thought it would leak gear oil, not transmission fluid.

Can I get some details on this repair? I am currently stranded in a city trying to get an axle installed. Is the axle you installed a factory axle or was it aftermarket (autozone etc?). Also what is the part numbers for the bracket you installed and the bolt?

The part number for the bracket and bolt is in the description of the video, I don’t know it off-hand. The axle I installed is a motorcraft product so an OEM axle. I have not had great luck with autozone or similar axles
