For Oregon lakes I use a rainbow trout one and I swear the first cast I threw it on I cough a decent smallmouth bass

in my experience feathered treble hooks if tied correctly can add movement and also give the fish more of a target to strike at pauses

Got my latest bass in north central Mass Christmas Eve over 5 on the shadow rap and my earliest on Yozuri twitching minnow March 9th 6 lbs 5 oz turned out to be my biggest of the whole year! LolI wish I could find these things again. It caught anything that swims with that bait. Trout, Perch, Crappie, Rock bass. I'm to cheap for the 110s, hahaha

In all honesty, I have a few baits that are worth a lot more but they re hand made not injected plastic. I have an IG wooden Pats perch, and a Hinkle shad custom wrapped by Stanley Wheat. Those 2 baits alone are worth 300 to 400 bucks a piece. I just hung up a mega bass I wing that I just went swimming for 😂😂😂

I've literally watched hour long jerkbait videos. My guy gets 30 secs and I learned 2 things noone else has mentioned. I caught my 1st jerkbait fish right as the leafs started dropping. Same day 2nd fish 4.7 lber . Racked up 20 this month just jerkin off lol . I definitely found my new fav style , step aside swimbaits . Slide aside jigs lol idk the way they hit the jerkbait is more enjoyable. Only downside is the price for a good jerkbait is like 10 bucks up to 30 . You break off thar new 20 dollar bait ...... damn it gotta go swimming lol
