Land Cruiser Prado... The Toyota badge is reliable. Let's just say I have a couple of people in the family who drive or drove Land Rovers, and they came across a number of issues.
A little story about the speed limit when going through the National Park... Let's just say My Mercedes at the time had to be towed because I was in a rush to get to Ponta- Di- O-ru (that's how it's pronounced)... Basically, I didn't see a speed bump and there we were all flying in the car... Learnt my lesson and never again do I violate the speed limits when going to a place for the first time😅

But yes those empty roads are extremely tempting , it’s so easy to drive fast cause the road there is well maintained and not that busy…
I travel a lot, especially by road, so I have all types of stories from the many countries I have visited and who knows, some day I'll have social media and start a page 😂

If you're looking for luxury...you can't go wrong with the Land Rover but, if it's longevity you're after; look no further than the Land Cruiser. If money wasn't a factor, I'd actually get the First Edition AND the VXR because they both look fantastic.
