I accidentally listened to Sissel sing "Amazing Grace" sometime early this evening and it is now 12:30 in the morning and I am going to have to quit to go to bed. I am so sorry that I have never discovered her music until this stage in my life. Her music is absolutely wondrous, I am listening to this concert hardly understanding anything but enjoying every word, even her talking. As well as her singing voice she has the most pleasing air about her. Her smile completely lights up any room she is in and she truly enjoys what she is doing to the extent I have never seen. I have just never seen a smile and the beautiful expression she has in singing her songs and I have seen a lot of singers but none with her attitude. I am a fan now - even though I am a diehard classic country fan. I can still appreciate other good music and she makes some very good music. I would love to see her in person some day if she ever comes close enough in the US. Thank you for a wonderful evening. PS - I have even been a fan recently of another Norwegian, the upcoming Angelina Jordan. Even though her music is entirely different she is also a very gifted singer.

Actually, he was not a big fan of paintings, but after the conference, he still had a couple of hours before the plane, and he had to kill time somehow... He stopped near one of the paintings. Hues of lilac and blue. Something about the mood there struck a chord in him. It showed a girl resting, reclined comfortably on boulders that... Ah! If you looked closer, they were actually the huge head of a man half-buried in the ground. She seemed lost in a dreamy reverie, gazing up at the sky. A congregation of stars and everything around her was full of movement. Only she, herself, seemed to stand still in time and space. Starlight flooded her face, but Alexander sensed a deep longing in her almost indistinguishable features ... Memories of past years suddenly swept over him ... They had celebrated their graduation from school, surrendering completely to the delight of the warm evening. After the tense months of preparations and exams, they were overwhelmed with a sense of long-awaited freedom. Taking a chilled cola from the refrigerator, Alexander drew two intertwined hearts on the bottle’s cool condensate with his finger. Then he took a deep breath and went to the balcony to Victoria.
