You keep inconsistently called ship both a Cruise Ship and Ocean Liner. Technically that’s incorrect, there’s also ferries which you didn’t mention at all. The Ocean Liner is like a bus and meant to cross the ocean like Atlantic, while Cruise Ship is like a party limousine that stick to the coast. The easiest way to identify an Ocean liner is its black hull, the iconic part of it, though not all are black as later are white as coal is replace with diesel and can just be fill with pipe. The bow would be longer on Ocean Liner then Cruise Ship. Cruise Ship is a bit more fatter (uglier) then Ocean liner as well. Ocean liner are stronger and faster than modern Cruise Ship, even Titanic is technically still faster than modern Cruise Ship. Smoke stack tend to be more for Ocean Liner just because there’s barely modern version today. The only fully functioning Ocean Liner still around today is Queen Mary 2.
