North Korea (Korean: 조선; MR: Chosŏn or literally 북조선; MR: Pukchosŏn), officially the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK or DPR Korea; Korean: 조선민주주의인민공화국, Chosŏn Minjujuŭi Inmin Konghwaguk), is a country in East Asia constituting the northern part of the Korean Peninsula, with Pyongyang the capital and the largest city in the country. North Korea functions as a highly centralized, one-party state. According to its 2016 constitution, it is a self-described revolutionary and socialist state "guided in its activities by the Juche idea and the Songun idea". In addition to the constitution, North Korea is governed by the Ten Principles for the Establishment of a Monolithic Ideological System which establishes standards for governance and a guide for the behaviors of North Koreans. North Korea is widely stated of having perhaps the worst rights record in the world. The North Korean population is strict managed by the state and all aspects of daily life are subordinated to party and state planning. Employment is managed by the party on the basis of political reliability, and travel is tightly controlled by the Ministry of People's Security. A 2014 UN inquiry into people’s rights in North Korea concluded that, "The gravity, scale and nature of these violations reveal a state that does not have any parallel in the contemporary world"

tbh I dont think people even care that much about anything that has little to nothing to do with how they live their lives, like their jobs, family, social life, passions and hobbies. I dont think any random American (or _anyone_ from _anywhere_ in the world for that matter) would purposely spend energy and time thinking about other countries if their job wasn't like, idk, international relations or a diplomat or something, or their interests weren't like geography or something

LoVeLoVe I wish I did my love but we weren’t allowed to record with our phones like how we do at concerts in the US, but my dance teacher has one.

The people seem nice. All the defectors I've seen I think really prove that. But the government is garbage and treats it's poor people like garbage.

North Korea does have some nice people. But, you have to be really respectful towards them and their culture as well as their government (even if you don't want to). North Korea is actually a nice place but it has been ruined by the United States which is why it is so hostile towards America. So you wanna be careful
