Nothing wrong with cheaper toolboxes as long as they're solid enough to carry your gear. I bought cheaper boxes and filled them with top quality tools while other guys I work with spend $8-10k on Snap On toolboxes and half fill them with shit tools, they always borrow my stuff, backwards logic.
I am excited for the 335i to be back on the road and only partially because I would like to see more testing of the Brumbo brakes before I install my own:P
Thanks man, yeah thats the plan. We really want to keep it tidy in there and not be spending 10 minutes trying to find a certain tool. But you are right, going to need to start filling them up.
@@ZeroTo60Tube I'm headed to a lapping night this week. If I don't forget I will try to put together a small video of my XHP stage 4 flash and results while on track at Calabogie Motorsport Park.
Never really understood why you put the hoist in on an angle, looks to me that it would fit better further back in the shed and the storage racks more to the front and maybe even along the sealing where you don't need the air space for the hoist. Not bashing just interested.
Did you get the big one from old mate at forest glen? I had one similar, basically the bottom box no top. I used it for 3 or 4 years dragging it around a workshop. Although it was a perfect floor it didn’t like it but lasted ok for the cost. Even had that same rattle. Eventually the lock broke on a couple of draws. It had the nick name “limo” poor ol girl had a hard life.
It's not the toolbox what earns ya money it's the tools in it I was looking at snap on box's couldn't justify paying for 40" box while I can get a 56" roller and top box for a 3rd of the price and filled it with snap on mac bluepoint tools
It looks the same as the Bunnings ones. However its a small company that just does tool boxes and storage that we got it from. It was $1499. Wanted to get one of the ultimate ones from Bunnings (just the lower sections) but apparently they are sold out and no arrival date on stock.
Empty , the snap on boxes rattle just as much . Shove a bit of the packing that came with it up into the locking mech . you`ll never lock it anyway . ...its pointless . its on wheels !
Why do people buy cheap Chinese stuff and then complain about it. Things are cheap because of the cost savings. That is the trade off. Just figure out how to rectify the issue. Just cut out a U slot in a piece of foam block to hold the lever.
We mention the issues so people watching who may also be interested in buying them are aware of it. Just like we mention issues with expensive products. We're not complaining or surprised by any of it.
Nothing wrong with cheaper tools. Over here in the UK I use Halfords Pro stuff, has a lifetime warranty and a fraction of the price of the main branded stuff
Same also in the uk sold my facom roll cab and britool collection when I decide to stop been a mechanic. Whent and bought a ultimate weekend worrier kit from halfords and it served me well since 2009
i was hoping that this was going to somewhere like.. "ebay bought garage", just kidding, i really love when tools etc isint all around the work shop, like buddy of mine does..
Hopefully it will make finding things a little quicker. On the plus side the more tool boxes we have the more it looks like we know what we're doing :|
@@ZeroTo60Tube and one thing is, the more you have tool boxes, you realize how much tools you have to buy, or you have bought. one day you have few tools, after year, you are thinking about new tool box

I really want that Gtool bench. After 3 years should you recommend?
how are the boxes holding up?
I have the same large unit and it is awesome for the money - highly recommended .....
How much are they?
Great idea guys, will definitely help organise the abundance of tools.
So what is the 72" called and where is it found?

I thought Laurel & Hardie getting heavy boxes out of the back of a van was an old black and white silent film? :D :D :D
Bought a Mechpro Power Washer, broke as soon as I turned it on after being stuffed around for delivery for weeks... That tool box looks nicer however
bit by bit, best of luck reaching your goals
Just wondering where you got the mechpro toolbox for $420? Had my eye on one for a while now
Hi mate, which website did you buy the red toolbox from ?
it was a local supplier on marketplace, that have a load of this type of storage and shelving.
Always love new workshop stuff. Time to fill it. Lots of tools for N54 and BMW on Amazon to make life easier and the job faster.
Enjoy.

Wise words
Sooooper jealous of your mahoosive tool (box).
Yall do know that snap-on outsources their products from china. The same way harbour freight does right.
you need to start somewhere and not everyone can afford snap-on good on you guys
Good stuff
Ha ha... If we can replace rod bearings on s62 - we can do this with no instruction, nice!
Brilliant 👏
I'm guessing the black and red one is from bunnings like my one .

Blue Products Forest Glen
Please put the giant tool box in front of the shelving unit! It would hide so much clutter and make the shop look alot cleaner!
You should see the shed now its way more messy.... lol. Unfortunately just isnt enough space.
Can we get a link to this or a “brand”
Unfortunately they are just a no name brand. We got this from Facebook marketplace. A small dude import containers of them at a time.

I think I get a wooden cabinet! Much better ⛱

Any news on the n54
Head is coming off tomorrow.
Hopefully it will be on the road soon 😀
Snap on boxes are nice but no way are they worth the price. The cheaper boxes do the same thing, hold tools.

So not actually cheap tool boxes?
The snap on version of the red one is $38000 here. So cheap in comparison.
I will take that box off your hands
