What a slick route, I'm sitting here with a broken collarbone and two ribs from an accident. I've got two more months til l can hop back on the cycle, your video instilled me with resolve and patience. Have fun shredding, stay safe and loose.
Glad you liked it! I'm also stuck dealing with health issues right now but at the same time cycling it's my best health insurance as i use it for commuting everyday for the past 18 years
Thanks, this was a test with a GoPro 9 + Gimbal + Max lens attached + using Gyroflow for post stabilisation so without the lens mode and deactivating any stabilisation in-camera so recording in full 4K, it's a non supported mode by Gopro you can see the jelly vibrations (internal rolling shutter correction) but with the latest GoPro 11 this is solved cos one can deactivate the internal rolling shutter correction with gopro labs firmware (it's a little too complicated too explain here, don't hesitate to ask, at some point i feel i should make a tutorial to use the max lens or fisheye lenses like with other action cams for cycling, here's an Action 2 with a home made fisheye mod ua-cam.com/video/Z6MbqLAK5No/v-deo.html although it's not as good as the Max Lens in terms of resolution, is the best way to shoot cycling action mainly for the need of more field of view in POV ( more stabilisation, the field of view don't end cropped when in the drops, and the speed representation with super-wide angles is so much realistic, you know with the standard field of view of action cams when you see the footage it looks much slower than in reality which is pretty depressing honestly XD) but you can avoid all the unnecessary technical complexity with an Insta 360 but when it comes to image quality, although not so much the stabilisation, standard action cams seem better specially in low light.
Love the format! Sick POV, quality footage/colors, nice music but still keeping the raw sound. You earned a new subscriber. Keep it up👌🏼 Btw: where has this been shot? Spain? Portugal?
yeah i disabled stabilization to get the full circular fisheye of Max lens, for technical reasons this mode is not supported for stabilising it in post with third party software, and honestly i don't remember if i used a DIY ND filter in between the gopro and the max lens but I think most probably i did
@@IsaacRC thanks for your response ❤️ Im currently working on my own mold for my gimbal and copy your setup. Once it is finished i will go to the phone app and speed up the panning to catch up with my downhill road cycling.
@@Wtfitsgabonabike If you need tips for modelling the adapter or the problem with the max lens feel free to ask, I should mention the biggest problem with this setup is till this date Gopro doesn't support using the Max lens in full circular fisheye for post stabilisation with any of its models, I've tried with the 9 model like in this video and the 11 and it's not possible to obtain good quality stabilisation or "normal" stabilisation, the reasons are not a short story to explain, very technical, but also mention that I never asked directly to GoPro to solve for this problem, but if you wanted to ask GoPro please tell me because i would go and support your initiative if it's in the main forum

So nice. Finally different ride video. It’s just GoPro with lens mode?

Thanks, it was a failed camera test but still cool to post it
Barcelona
I kinda prefer this view more, wide but not too weird
Yeah the gimbal has many advantages but that incompatibility of the gopro 9 with the Max lens makes the video unusable.
did you disabled hypersmooth in gopro? and did you used any ND filters?
