I’ve been to almost every place mentioned here, but given that I grew up in Eau Claire and graduated high school in Eau Claire, I can’t help but obviously be biased. Although not super fancy, it’s a nice little city that has enough to do. Shopping, cafes, restaurants, moderately-sized mall, parks, downtown scenic views, a few nature areas to enjoy if you’re a nature person, ect. Again, it’s not on the scale of cities like Milwaukee, but it remains a nice destination for those who appreciate the simplicity of smaller cities imo. Though I no longer live in EC, every time I see videos or pictures of the place or visit, nostalgia hits me like a train.
As a Wisconsinite I can confidently say Milwaukee would be the second to LAST place I’d suggest to live 💀 Madison is definitely and rightfully the 1st Dane county is just amazing in every way quite frankly
I grew up in Sheboygan. I now live in Oshkosh for a reason. Sheboygan has completely turned to shit. It was great up until about 1988, then Milwaukee and Chicago made their way up. The rest is gangs, drugs, theft, and every other crime you could think of x10. Roads don't get repaired. Factories closing or moving out. Jobs don't pay for shit. And the cops are like the Gestapo. Sheboygan is a shit hole. Yeah, I know this with 1st hand knowledge... my parents still live there and I visit often.
Green Bay and Appleton get hit with very erratic weather and across the board temperatures. But other than that, they are beautiful cities with a lot to offer for families. Saw a elementary kid and a teenager ride the Zippin Pippin together so that was a fun experience.
Same!! I grew up in Stoughton and it just made me cringe when I heard him say Stoughton, to be fair though We did misspell our water tower once I heard
@birdsndog5932 It’s only bitter cold and grey for a few months in the southern 1/2 of WI - January & February. Travel/commutes in winter can often be extremely hazardous. The rest of the year is tolerable. Beautiful state once you get outside the cities, but I’m a rural kind of girl. Personally, I wouldn’t be able to handle Alaska or Canada except for a few months in the summer, maybe.
I have been to pretty much every place you mentioned. I guess you don't recommend smaller towns under 10K with no larger towns around for miles. Monroe or Platteville for example.

Madison COULD be the happiest place; unfortunately, it's jammed-packed with liberals. Known as The People's Republic of Madistan, it is 90 square miles surrounded by reality.
Milwaukee should be number 1 just cuz its better than every city in Wisconsin best suburbs big city yet light traffic and not as bad as they make it out to seem 😊 414 is amazing once u come here if your from a small town in Wisconsin Milwaukee will feel like new york or Chicago to u
Milwaukee!?!...Madison!?!.... you need to go back and do your homework. Walk through the getto of Milwaukee and down park street in Madison. Then see if you still want them #1 and #2. Make sure you dress like you live in Waunakee when you do it.
Does Wisconsin have any actual cities, or is it nothing but suburbs? American cities suck, its almost nothing but suburbs. Its so sad that these are the best places to live in wisconsin. Once you live in a place thats great, its too depressing to downgrade and live somewhere that sucks.
Lol big cities are some of the worst places to live. What are you even talking about. I would definitley rather live in a nice peaceful place like madison then some filthy noisy place like chicago or ny.
Bro visit these half of these cities and then we will talk. Milwaukee is doing a fantastic job of revitalizing their urban core. Look up "the Third Ward Milwaukee" my favorite area of downtown.

From Racine, and I don't understand the hate for Milwaukee.
I agree ~ Milwaukee is a high crime hell hole !!!!
@@Rad69Lee Racine is #2 on the Worst cities in Wisconsin.
Nah bro. Rather be in Milwaukee and Racine than Superior, Manitowoc, Beloit or Janesville.
@@Rad69Lee Hell holes !
Thought La Crosse, Waukesha and Sheboygan would be on here for sure.

Erratic weather and temps is a general WI thing lol
Every time he said stoughton made me wince
omg same, i was like STOP SAYING IT LIKE THAT. You think they would google how to pronounce it before posting the video.

@@jean-mairecannonier9766 I believe Stog tun
I have a hard time taking this seriously as they mispronounced the city of Stoughton.
Yep...I grew up just North of Stoughton decades ago...Nice the town is doing well...Not so nice it's now a suburb of Madison...
I laughed so hard when he said Stoughton like that!!😂
Not really a suburb of Madison yet, still has that small town feel

@birdsndog5932 😅 And with age, we don’t bounce when slipping on ice. We break.
That's only if you live in a city
I'm surprised Oconomowoc didn't make the list, like... Milwaukee? Over Oconomowoc? Or several other cities even.
Have you ever been to Milwaukee??
I have been to pretty much every place you mentioned. I guess you don't recommend smaller towns under 10K with no larger towns around for miles. Monroe or Platteville for example.
Sure live where suggested but spend weekends & holidays & retirement anywhere North of Bloomer if you like peace & quiet.
IT'S STOW-TON (the pronunciation that is)
I laughed so hard when I heard him pronounce Stoughton!!
It’s Actually Pronounced STOE-TIN
Appleton the best for sure
Do you live there?
stow-ton is how you say Stoughton
UW Stout s/b spelled "Stought" according to this guy.
I plan on moving to Madison Wisconsin really soon.. 😊
Enjoy
A suppper liberal city !
Nice!@@bextar6365
Did you make it??
Liberal trash.
I grew up in Lake Geneva and I wouldn't live there again. Too many FIBS...
😂
More FIBS live in Kenosha
Whew...Beloit DIDN'T make the list so at least they got that one right
Betroit?
Fond du Lac Fox Valley!!!
Um, Milwaukee is one of the ten most dangerous cities in the United States, is it really a good place to live? :)
Couldn’t pay me enough to live in a city.
You missed Boscobel
Havent heard of it but sounds like it may be worth checking out
It’s pronounced Sto ton ( like the sto in store!
I think #9 is the best city
Go Lightning!⚡️
You are pronouncing Stoughton wrong!!
Outagamie is pronounced "WATT-a-gamie"
Eagle River.

With affordable homes its such a nice place to move

If your going to do a video on best places to live, you may want to learn how to pronounce the names correctly.
Pure BS.
All gross.

Janesville is known as the racist area btw.
No wonder homes here are cheap😂
Sounds appealing tbh keeps everyone away
It's a sh*t hole and it has nothing to do with racism.
