Eliška ❤️
Eliško, I can't thank you enough for these mini snippets of diving into each grammatical case. I'd like to believe that its the dative case that draws me in to the Czech language so much because of its emotions and what not, there's so much depth😍. I must say, you have a beautiful language. Keep doing what you're doing...With gratitude💫.
You're very welcome and thank you! 😊
Explained with exemplary clarity! Thank you
Glad you liked it 😊
Moc moc zajímavé a moc mi pomohl rozmět českému jazyce lépe. Moc vám děkuji!
To jsem moc ráda, taky děkujeme :)
Wow fantastic Eliska and Jen. Thank you so very much. Eliska the dative case is so much clearer now. Great!
Moc děkujeme, Carrie :)

16:03 Ou, as a czech I didn´t know, how czech could be difficult. Word that got me is "si". I was thinking about it a little. I would say that "si" is like dative selfish word like ",to myself".
Koupil jsem boty - I bought boots ( for anyone, even me). Koupil jsem si boty - I bought boots for myself.
Czech is sadly based on this shitty stuff :/ Everbody knows What I just bought and for who. No more people will ask me any questions about boots. :D
Great video. I just learned something new.
Love this series 🙂
Děkuju!
@@BecauseCzechIsCool I noticed that the word "(na)proti" also can appear with the dative, but I´m not sure if it always requires it. Could you help me with this question?
@@mondrian_ Yes, both "proti" and "naproti" are followed by the dative case :)
@@BecauseCzechIsCool Děkuju! :)
Je mi to jedno - we have for this expression - these all are equal to me
Vážená paní Eliško. Děkuji mockrát za ten UA-cam kanál. Čeština je fakt skvělým jazykem, který nejenom je hezký, logicky, hudební ale také usnadňuje a upřesňuje komunikaci myšlenek a pocitů
Moc děkuju, Zahro, moc si toho vážím :)
Co se týče slovosledu, můžu doporučit tohle skvělé video od mé kamarádky, lektorky Zuzky: ua-cam.com/video/ZmDEP2EeTi8/v-deo.html
Jen can’t resist a camera.
Can we say "Maso mi chutná ", too?
Yes, but by saying this you put the emphasis on the word “chutná” (or sometimes even “maso”), it’s less neutral.
For example: Tobě nechutná zelenina a maso? - Maso mi chutná! (Ale zelenina ne)
@18:50 "Jen zlomila její ruku" --> nemusí být Jenova ruka, že? Ta ruka musí patřit jinému človeku, protože jsi neřikala "svou"? Mám pravdu? Může se říct "Jen zlomila svou ruku"?
Ahoj, "Jen si zlomila svou ruku" nebo "Jen zlomila svou ruku" bychom v češtině asi neřekli. Zní to divně :) Říkáme: "Jen si zlomila ruku". A ano, máš pravdu, pokud řekneme "Jen zlomila její ruku" nebo "Jen jí zlomila ruku", tak ruka patří jiné ženě.
Without specifics = examples of word ending / change this is useless
