Our new RAV 4 Prime XSE has the identical (as you stated) software/displays/options. And with the, sadly occasional child/pet deaths in the summer due to heated up interiors this will be a life saver....well done Toyota. For us as retired educators with two grandkids and three dogs it's personally appreciated.

That magnetic grey on some TE37s would be gangster. Seriously love me a good van.

Thanks for this review. The lack of additional powertrain choices is interesting... I'm curious to see if Toyota expands those options in the future. Thanks again! :)

I like the idea of being able to step from the 1st to the 2nd row so I prefer vehicles like the Honda Odyssey and Pacifica for this reason, otherwise I love the Sienna’s interior. Easily removable 2nd row seats is also a must considering the Pacifica has stow n go seats.
On our trip to Florida- on our way home right now- we did numerous activities that were made easier by our rental Pacifica.
While waiting for family to skydive we watched movies in the back seat and needed to turn on and off the vehicle to keep it cool while using less gas. I was easily able to step between the rows to manage the vehicle thanks to the low console. A hybrid system certainly would be been nice for the Pacifica.
The stow n go is also fantastic. Able to fold all the seats away and low down or recline the 2nd row seats for watching the movie.
Note: it is a base trim so no infotainment screen- we had a tablet suction cupped to the window- that is how we watched a movie with the vehicle off.
Anyways, I love minivans and am happy the Sienna exists.

I have a car vac that plugs into a power port and a simple cooler will keep drinks cool. So to me those features are not a big deal.

The one to get is the XSE and add the XSE Plus Package to your order.

I routinely get 38-40 mpg on a tank in a FWD. Averaged about 19 with the V6 Honda since I do a lot of city. Once you get used to 550 miles+ range and using half the gas, it's hard to go back.

I have a 2021 Sienna and never use the tuning knob. The changes with digital instrument screen, larger screen, and wireless CarPlay are nice but not sure it’s enough for me to upgrade especially with the bump in MSRP. The lack of heated steering wheel on the limited is unfortunate since our 2016 Sienna had it.
TSS 3.0 should also be added.

Touch screen isn't too large. Too bad that the volume knob was lost. I don’t like having to use a screen while driving and it isn't always possible to stop or pull over.

Unfortunately VA dealers are not allowed to sell the Prius Prime. I know that it's odd but if I didn't keep my Mustang then I'd buy a Prius Prime.

Maybe I'm unusual but really wish they had a simple version Sienna without all the high tech clap trap! There's already too many screens in my life as it is! The huge screen above the dash line and obnoxiously huge center counsel are the biggest turn off's to me for this vehicle and they seem to just keep making it worse! It's obnoxious! Whatever happened to elegant and functional simplicity? Can't even climb into the rear seats to attend to the kids when the weather is bad! Terrible! I'm looking to upgrade my well used up 2007 Sienna but I honestly like the 07 better! It has far more cargo room and space. Center seats are removable. You can climb into the rears seats from the front. It had a more wide open feeling without all the clap trap! It feels like a van! I buy a van to be a van not a van trying to identify as a car! Toyota how about a simple more traditional Sienna non-hybrid van that most struggling families these days can actually afford. A kind of Corolla for vans! Not everyone likes all the clap trap and they just want a reliable simple work horse. Thank-You
