In hindsight this is honestly one of the best episodes of the series IMO. Not to say it wasn't fantastic on first viewing, but Blind Wave's discussions about it made me appreciate it even more.
i loved the fact that the cartoon devil version was the same one portrayed in S1 in the satanic cult episode, in the scene where lucifer tells chloe that an angel can hurt another angel and then lucifer looks for hidden wings on chloe's back. in the street scene of the 80's you can see the marquee of Penelope Decker's movie "Althea" crossing the street
First off, this might be my favorite thumbnail you guys have ever made. Second, this is honestly one of the best episodes of the show. Not only did we get an awesome animated scene with Lucifer and Chloe that didn’t need much of an explanation, but the actual explanation was incredibly heartfelt and thought provoking. And the real life reason why they had the animated scene was because they made this during the early months of Covid, so they needed to come up with a reason for everyone to work together from a distance and someone had the genius idea to make it a classic 90’s style cartoon. Also sorry Calvin but Bones was not that good. Castle was far better.
In this episode there is a lot of thought how nice and funny it is to see Lucifer and Chloe in the animation this episode teaches us something like the killer from the first episode we all hate we suddenly find out why he is a bad person or the policewoman sends Maize to a place that helps people who have committed a crime The message of this episode is that anyone can change but with a little help from other people
Watching them discuss the physics of ghosts reminds me of the _Ghosts_ episode where we see Julian's death. He walks through a chair, but finds he's able to sit in it, and Thomas comments "It doesn't make sense, does it?"
I think Lucifer's mother who is kind of God can change shape to what she wants so she became Charlotte because that's how she looked the last time she saw her children and that's how they remember her
I knew I recognized her but didn’t know why. With hair she looks like she has a darker skin tone and just looks different enough that I didn’t connect it.
I will say Dan can walk through walls yet he can also stand on the same material as the wall except it's the floor on the 40-some up floor of the building or whatever floor is the top floor of his extremely tall building... he can sit but if you were to throw the thing that he's sitting on at him it would go right through him or if he wanted to walk through the chair he could walk through it if it were in the middle of the room but for some reason he can also sit on the chair I do appreciate that they brought them back however there are so many inconsistencies with him being a ghost and the way he interacts with the world
Considering it is a police show I really wish they would have touched on this a lot sooner however I do understand season 1 they were in Fox and then after that they really wanted to get into some more of the more unrealistic parts of the show and the cop thing kind of was just a excuse for the story I'm glad they eventually got around to it before they ended the show the final time where they show writers producers director actors all of them agree that this is the end of the Show versus every other time it was the Network's telling them that the show was over or Netflix saying we're only renewing for one more season or half a season and then renew for the rest half of the season and been waiting and then renewing for a final thing so
It goes downhill from here. I actually liked the Rory character, but almost everything else was definitely jumping the shark. Also rewatching this, she knows she went back in time. She knows Lucifer left before she was born. So why is she pissed off he doesn’t know who she is?? Man the rest of the episodes from here are just a mess logically and storytelling wise.
.......did they forget self actualization is a real thing in the real world as in yes humans can self actualize? Its such a big deal for angels to do so because theyre surprisingly humanlike
Dread it. Run from it. It’s all the same. In the end I always come back here. I want to finish this but jeez I might skip this one. The more I think about this Warner brothers produced show’s UA-cam quality animated episode it just makes me cringe. They could have done sooooo much. Whatever, I’ll take one episode I don’t like over this entire season being dreadful. Guess it was inevitable
@@Tiraliass it’s not a thing specific to Lucifer. Everyone has this. It’s easier in post to overlay footage of the actor trying to grab something over footage of the image. Floating or having to figure out how the floor works is a whole other level and difficulty in editing. Don’t get salty over something everyone else has more or less subconsciously agree to ignore and handwave.
@@MoviesAndTvShowsAreSubjective He implied that he could do better. People typically improve with time. I think she did great. I don’t say things like that because I don’t have any acting experience.
Raw Rider Patrons can watch the Full Length Reaction HERE: blindwavellc.com/lucifer-6x03-full/
The actress playing the new angel, is Brianna Hildebrand.
You may remember her is Negasonic Teenage Warhead from Deadpool!
7:44 Give yourself a pat on the back editor 👏.
that was amazing bro
Sometimes I regret watching full length for missing things like that.
I'm more and more curious to see how they will react to the ending, given their discussions and theories.
Especially eric who's predicting a lot of shit.
Rick has been saying (spoiler) hell need a linda since season 4 I’m excited too see his reaction to the finale
@@swarly8354 yea it's going to be an interesting reaction 😭
I think they will love it

Yeah it's definitely one of the better episodes in the show. Especially for this season which was a little rough in areas.

That thumbnail though! 😆
after 7:43 the editor should get a raise!
The “X gene” talk is hilarious when you realize who her actor is. 😁
The cartoon episode in Lucifer is so brilliant.
Who edited this he did one of the best jobs i have ever seen here

Lmaooo! The thumbnail has me dead 💀! You are all awesome goofballs lol.
That thumbnail is dope af ✌️
I absolutely LOVE that thumbnail!
2:36 is the commentary I come here for.
I think Lucifer's mother who is kind of God can change shape to what she wants so she became Charlotte because that's how she looked the last time she saw her children and that's how they remember her
I love that in the 80s portion that there were Patrick Nagel style prints on the walls.
The thumbnail of the video is amazing !!
OMG....their theories are so accurate.
Goddamn, they did Aaron dirty with that thumbnail
Mark you calendars Rick and Calvin. NO WAY HOME COMES OUT ON DIGITAL MARCH 22!!!!
nice
I love all the theories!
BOOOONE???! GOOD OL' B99 Quote
Do they NOT recognize her as Negasonic from the Deadpool movies?
Apparently not 😂
I definitely didn't. Something about hair changes on actors makes me completely miss them
I knew I recognized her but didn’t know why. With hair she looks like she has a darker skin tone and just looks different enough that I didn’t connect it.
I didnt either, i just thought it was a new actor id never seen before
Holy shit I just realised that
That daughter is same actress that played Teanege warhead in Deadpool
The thumbnail just their snap bimojis smh 🤦 😂😂
Nice Bitmojis my dudes
Thought they would have recognized the other police officer is from Brooklyn 99 but then again she is only in a few episodes.
Officer Harris is Terry's wife, Sharon, from B99

The editor covering for Calvin wanting to kill a frog
Their reactions are always the best. I'm curious if they know the animation was created by the same people that did the Harley Quinn series.
What cartoon animation style would you love to experience your life in?
A:TLA style or 60's Hanna-Barbera style
NEGASONIC TEENAGE WARHEAD
This episode felt like wandavision

the guy on the Right looks a bit like Christopher Khayman Lee (Andros from Power Rangers in Space)
the cartoon paart got me laughing
.......did they forget self actualization is a real thing in the real world as in yes humans can self actualize? Its such a big deal for angels to do so because theyre surprisingly humanlike
Imagine if instead of treating people who have broken laws as animals qe treated them like they were broken in some way and needed to be fixed/healed.
I want a reaction to the movie “Annette”
His daughter is played by Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
Dan season 1 if he dies I will be sad for his daughter.
Dan season 5 cry my eyes out when he died
Dean season 6 Best Casper ever!
Who draw make the thumbnail for the video ?
Where's Vincent Schiavelli when you need'em?.....Oh, he's dead, too. Now I'm sad.
Please, react to 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗢𝗳 𝗨𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗱 after this
That cartoon version looked nothing like Tom Ellis.
Who's the mom? 😬
I'm pretty sure that's exactly why they animated it, couldn't get the actor back
Daughter? What? From the future? I mean if Ant-Man and the Wasp can do it why not.
I watched this season when it was released, but somehow I missed this episode. No memory of an animated lucifer. Wierd~
A child of Lucifer and Eve would be awesome

The angry teen trope was so tiresome. So much of it reminded me of the other angry daughter, in The Flash, but that actress did emote enough.
Dan being able to walk on the floor made 0 sense
Ghost logic. It’s a conundrum whenever and wherever a show or movie has ghosts.
