Use of horoscopes and subsequent utilisation of astrology are disproved in Islam. Nevertheless, Islam gives rise through the Quran to the use of astrology in determination of lunar calendar as well as compass bearings.

Anything related to fortune telling is haram & shirk. Zodiac is also a form of that, coz it uses symbols to determine personality that the prophet never teaches us to use. In fact, the Zodiac signs originated from Namrud/Nimrod the king magicians during the mesopotamian era. Only Shaytan and Iblis use symbolism to deceive human! It's a big shirk and forbidden.

I am from Bangladesh too. I have done some research on rashifaal/zodiac sign..
It can tell your personality. And you do what your Personality is. What your habit is.
So in some sense It's true. But if you think it can tell your future it’s not right.
It only can assume what may appear in futire based on your current state of mind and habits.

I have read somewhere that prophet idris(PBUH) was the first one to talk about astrology. Now since we know after watching this video that astrology is not true how come a prophet was the first one to dwelge in something like astrology?

A strange mythical question, he mentioned Kuundali, I got married in Pakistan & we went to Datta Durbar and had a padlock Kuundali a bit of surperstition there. So much mythology comes from Islam including Arabian tales, fantasy & magic, but I assume Dr Naik is giving the official textbook answer in reference to the Koran (Quran). Don't forget the Jinn ?
That is cultural and has nothing to do with Islam. Muslims should only follow Qur'an and sunnah. And Qur'an and sunnah don't mention any issues such as celestial objects influencing your life, etc. And future reading is also strictly prohibited as we believe that only Allah knows what will happen next and only He can show us if He wills. These celestial objects were created by God just like everything else, they have no special powers in our belief.
Jin is different, that is mentioned in Qur'an and those are also Allah's creatures just like we humans are. They can't do anything to us human's without Allah's permission. People who practice black magic turn to such creatures for help since they live much longer than us and have different abilities. But this practice is also forbidden in Islam and it was sent to Earth as a test. We Muslims are not supposed to call upon anyone or anything except God.
Bruh that's not islam, islam never teach superstition, it's certain it came from tradition and culture which was combined with islam. Even in my place, most of my grandfathers and grandmothers they believed in Djinn worship, which is big shirk. My parents stopped those things after they entered school and learned the true Islam. Nowadays some muslims are not practicing real islam, There has been innovation that has happened since 1400 years ago after prophet pbuh. The true Islam follows Quran, Sunnah and Ijma' Ulama, besides these things it's all nonsense and probably made up.

I do believe there is some knowledge to be found in palm reading or zodiacs however as a pseudo science. Also the source of information is questionable. Many Muslims say it is all ‘mambo jambo’ originated from Babylon. It could be true but I dont want to throw everything in the garbage as nonsense. I say this as a Muslim myself not because I want to make halal what is haram but because I genuinly want to divide facts from fiction.

Istikhara means seeking counsel, you pray Istikhara to Allah that you will be given a guidance to make decisions. It has nothing to do with astrology assumptions.

Earth is geo-spherical in shape
The Qur’an mentions the actual shape of the earth in the following verse:
“And we have made the earth egg shaped”. [Al-Qur’an 79:30]
The Arabic word Dahaha means egg shaped. It also means an expanse. Dahaha is derived from Duhiya which specifically refers to the egg of an ostrich which is geospherical in shape, exactly like the shape of the earth.

This is super ignorant on all the evidence researched by mordern astrologers through 50 000 horoscopes and predicting with an unbelieavable accuracy especially when just the date of birth and time is given. I thought Quran and Islam is all about evidence and Naik simply contradicts his own religion by coming up with this explanations.
Actually if you read Quran and bible properly you can find that the astrology is mainly predicted not by science but through Spirits and Jhinnat mentioned where when you go to certain Pandit or Maula or even Father who claim they can predict your problems and marriage, they believe it or not uses Magic to download information about you by asking your name and date of birth or even your mother's name! They are simply fooling us as we Muslims or Christians believe that we all have a spirit or Karin jhin(hamzad) that live with us since birth and knows even slightest details about us. Islam says Jhinnat are both evil and good creature of God who travel in the speed of light which is unseen and is a form of energy made of Smokeless fire.and Quran says such creation of God can transform both from energy to matter and even people can see them if they reflect themselves in the visible light range or audible range. It's a highest form of disbelief as per Bible and Quran to communicate with them as to communicate with them we first need to worship them and degrade Human existence by degrading ourselves saying we are lower than you and selling your faith and belief to them .
