More About Mego Figures: The Mego Corporation was a toy company founded in 1954. Originally known as a purveyor of dime store toys, in 1971 the company shifted direction and became famous for producing licensed action figures (including the long-running "World's Greatest Super Heroes" line), celebrity dolls, and the Micronauts toy line. For a time in the 1970s, their line of 8-inch-scale action figures with interchangeable bodies became the industry standard.

Soooooo much fun to be a kid in the 70s...no cell phones, no computers, just fun fun fun
Mego’s back and they’re AWESOME.
Glad I snagged a Wayne Foundation a few years back, complete with box!

I had the Wayne Foundation as a kid. The reason you cant find them is that it was pasteboard junk. Five year old me destroyed that thing in 6 months. I still have the plastic Batcomputer and Elevator though.
Most didn't survive b/c we played rough with them.

I was born in 76 so there a little before my time but since the new 50th anniversary for batman and Robin came out and I got a batman I'm hooked and now looking for Robin the nostalgia of them has my attention for sure
I had a Mego Batman, and an Aquaman figure when I was eight years old.
I still have all of f my Megos and their accessories. Though they were played with...a lot...they are all in great shape. I even have the Wayne Foundation put away inside it's original box!!

I wanted the Batcave, but they were only making the Foundation by then. Still, it came with that Batarang thing on the elevator, so I took it off and put it on a string to lasso the Riddler.

I love mego so much.
The Bridge Playset from Star Trek the Motion Picture goes for a fortune too. So does the Love Boat and Buck Rogers Command Deck. It's funny polystyrene seems to be worth its weight in gold in these cases.
The Mego doll line always had melt marks on the bodies and joints. Terrible quality control.
The Romulan is the most expensive Mego star trek figure. I saw a couple on eBay the other day that people wanted $3000 for them.

I think that being a kid in the 70's was the best because I was a kid in the 70's. My beliefs may be biased.

Yeah, um the Logan's Run figures never got made.
I had Action Jackson, Dinah Mite, Spiderman, Thor, Green Goblin and the Lizard. I also had Action Jackson's horse

There are two wayne foundation buildings on ebay right now...one for 1500 that is complete and 1 for 1000 that is 95% complete

As a child these were must have.. But as an adult, wow!!! Horribly articulated toys..
That's my biggest gripe with the revived Mego figures.
There ar Mego type bodies with bicep and knee swivels but they aren't being used :/
