Your videos would be vastly improved if you allowed more time to focus on the slides with the photos of the figures, rather than cut away from them quickly. Less face time please and more time to view and admire the figures that you’re describing. Thanks.
Thank you for the feedback. I very much appreciate that and have already tried to implement exactly that approach :)
are you saying he's too ugly to be on screen all the time? You are rude!
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour Rarest wrestling action figures actually Linda McMahon although many believe she's never been released she was actually part of a $199.99 ToysRus exclusive Christmas set with a lot of other wrestlers, Vince,Shane and Stephanie McMahon were also part of this set. Want to say it was 18 figures with weapons and accessories. There's been only a couple found loose and 1 complete set showed off by an online distributor Ringside collectables.had this set in the 90s myself
Agreed. And if making a video on rare toys and high prices, include the price. Kinda lazy.
@@historyofvideogamesandmyop2913 Theres a Hasbro Rhythm N blues Greg Valentine that is extremely rare and Zach Ryder paid over 10,000 for it. I think there are only 2 of them in existence.
First time watching here but I had to say I love that Nightcrawler with the sword you’ve got on your shelf.
So many people overlook him being a Master Fencer.
Hey welcome to the party pal! Good call on Nightcrawler. I originally only got him to complete the team but he’s actually low key one of the best X figures they’ve made!
I recently picked up a TMNT Hex action figure with two left feet! It may not be worth much but it’s really cool to know it escaped the assembly line!
Lol that wouldn't be so rare for Hasbro, their quality control can be a little lacking at times!
Nice consider your self really lucky!
It has to be worth something but definitely more to you
I had those original light saber figures. I tore the tips off of the light sabers because it didn’t make sense why they were there. No regrets. Loved playing with them.
That's the spirit my friend! As long as you enjoyed the heck out of them as a kid then that's all that matters!
Very entertaining Video, thank you. I'd enjoy it even more if you would display more pictures of the models or show them for longer. Keep up the good work ;)
Thanks for watching Dave. I've absolutely taken notice of that advice and in future videos keep focus on the pictures for much longer!
We had a vinyl caped Jawa when I was a kid, but we hated it because of the cape, so we had a second one with the cloth cape and for the life of me, I have no clue what happened to either, but if I had of known the value of a vinyl caped Jawa, I would have cherished it for sure.
In regards to why the rocket firing Boba Fett was never released, was some kid choked and I think died from a rocket firing ship toy from the original Battlestar Galactica series.
Thanks for the info Dee. You seem to be spot on about Boba Fett, lots of other folks have mentioned that being the case.
About Computron, I remember going into my local Woolworths (RIP) and purchasing Strafe who was one of the arms as an individual toy. I remember the card showing on the back that he was a combiner and also showed the other pieces that made up Computron, but I never had any others. So they were available individually too.
I'm hearing that a lot. Maybe they were sold in different formats around the world. Also RIP Woolworths!
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour I think so, did they have store exclusives back then perhaps? Cool video btw!
@@vandalworks45 I also had Strafe that I bought as a single carded figure. It was not a store exclusive because I bought mine at a local retailer called Richman Gordman. I had two others (Afterburner and Lightspeed I believe) that I bought as singles. The Computron set was actually quite a bit rarer (in my opinion) and it MIGHT have been an exclusive at Toys R Us. There were store exclusives way back when, but not to the (ridiculous) degree we see now. And PS- I miss Woolworths.
This is true I remember getting the orange cycle guy on his own in the 80's also
We must have grown up in the same area because i bought the motorcycle figure by itself when i was a kid in Irvington NJ don’t remember if it was Woolworth’s
I never would've expected Skinny Pete from Breaking Bad to be a British, toy collector.
At the start of 2020 I was being compared to Henry Cavil. Now I'm skinny Pete. This year really did a number on us all.
Lmao
Church!
Great video! I’m just getting back into figurines and it has brought me so much joy. Nice Nightmares on Wax playing in the back 😉
OMG same here! Going through some physical issues so i decided to revisit my childhood and happy times. Bought Hot Rod, Arcee, Galen Marek, Wonder Woman, Nightwing, KOTOR game, Mafia game. Like you my friend, it is making me so frikin happy🙂 GREAT VIDEO..SUBBED
Hey good job spotting Nightmares on Wax! Great background music.
Dude that is a fantastic collection you listed there!
Cool video dude, awesome energy. You sound a little like Simon Peg, lol
Hey thanks so much Jonas. I've not had that comparison before but I'm a huge Pegg fan!
👋🏽Hello David. Great video and content. Your personality and presentation sucked me in and kept me watching. 😃✌🏽
Thanks Lenny! What I lack in technical accuracy I try to make up for with enthusiasm. Thanks for checking out the video! :)
Amazing level of detail in this video!
I remember getting the Computron box set in Christmas of 1987 or 88. That set in addition to the original Devastator was the only transformers I never got rid of. I’d say my Computron is 85% complete due to missing accessories and one or two of the smaller transformers with a broken/missing head to attach with and wings busted off. I also had the 1985 complete set of Aerialbots that combined with Silverbolt.
Man if I went to school with you I would totally be angling to always come over and play with that Transformers collection!
I wanted the Constructicons/Devastator so badly as a kid. Parents got me Grimlock and Insecticons instead.
I still have my two vinyl Jawa's from 1978 and the Australian version had a longer cape and a different colour than the USA version. Another Star Wars figure that was never released on card was the blue snaggle tooth, finding one with perfect silver painted boots is difficult, it also has two version of different feet. My favourites are my shogun Godzilla from 1977, I still have the two versions, one is from the USA and the other was made in Japan...also a perfect in box shogun Mazinga, never played with. Plus 1000's of others, I really need a bigger house.
Oh man i'm going to have to look up those Shogun figures!
Great video, great list, i like your style, quick and to the point, subbed. I'm so happy to get back into the toy market after years. So much happy 🙂😻
Hey thanks Mauigio, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Welcome back to the Toy Market! :)

One of the best things I've ever seen was about 30 years or more ago it was an unopened 12 inch original "Terminator" figure that came with a "rejuvenation unit" so you could actually flay the flesh from the Terminator's battle chassis and then put it in the rejuvenation unit and rejuvenate (remould) it's flesh
It was in a sealed box that was twelve or thirteen inches high and about ten inches wide
There were no windows in the box and my description is from what I can remember from the box art on the outside
At the time I thought this would be the ultimate unopened collectable ever
It's your boy Bleuuuuuu showing some love and you got a great channel love seeing the expensive items
Hey thanks for the love Bleu! :)
When I was a kid I had all of my dads 80s Star Wars toys. I had an original millennium falcon, Yoda’s hut, a Hoth diorama, a ship from ROTJ specifically for storing the individual figures that was humongous, the slave 1, the original Luke’s Xwing, various troopers and droids and whatnot. My dad put them all in his girlfriend at the time’s house and since she literally never went there and would just stay at my dads all the time the place flooded in the winter and I lost them all.
Ah man the longer I was reading that list of amazing figures I was just waiting for the tragic conclusion and you didn't disappoint. Flood damage! Man I'm sorry to hear that!
The Cara Dune joke at the end was kind of true. A guy came to my local comic store and bought every Cara Dune figure they had, he told the owner he was buying everyone he could find. Right now people are buying them up but they aren't going to be worth crap down the road.
I have to admit that while I have no idea what the future holds I hope that karma kinda works itself out in this regard!
WOW... thank you for taking me back to my childhood. I do remember collecting the Dick Tracy and TMNT for the longest time. Back home in Puerto Rico, it was tough to get some of the figures since the supplier won’t not bring them in if it didn’t sell in the US. No internet so my mom had to call my uncles in the US give them a detailed description and then I would get the toy. I’m pretty sure these and a lot more can be found at random garage sales. You would be surprised the ton of treasures you can come across for a cheap price.
Hi Julio, thanks so much for watching. Man it really makes me appreciate how lucky we are today with online ordering and availability. It's so interesting to hear of other peoples collecting experiences. I'm excited to get back to garage sales and see what treasures I can find!
I’m telling you garage sales around the USA are just full of surprises. Couple of years ago this guy who’s hobby is collecting old photos bought a stack of photos somewhere between Texas and New Mexico. This guy paid not even 20 dollars, but of all the pictures there was one that stood out from the rest. It was a photo that included 6 men one of them wearing a distinctive bowler hat and a lady. After consulting experts and getting the picture enhanced ..he acquired a picture that was showing Billy the Kid and the Regulators in Lincoln County when they first got together.
Great video, lots of childhood memories there. I have an 80s boxed GI Joe, lots of original starwars figures and vehicles and some others from He-man and Transformers. Doubt any are from your list though. Oh to be a kid again and what seem like simpler times.
That's the power of nostalgia!
I had Vix and it was awesome! Nice fun video good job
Concise and clean. Keep it up. Maybe 15 or 20 long but really well done
Hey thanks so much John. It's true that maybe the one thing I would benefit most from is an editor! :)
For years of my childhood I had the Masters of the universe movie taped on vhs from tv along with willow on the same tape. :) used to watch it all the time. Great movie! Fun fact, I think “gwildor) or whoever, the little guy with red hair, is the same actor as the town wizard in willow. They have the same voice so I figured that out as a kid lol
MOTU and Willow is an amazing 80's fantasy double bill!
He is also the same actor who played Screwball in Legend. Which is another fantastic fantasy film.
Billy Barty was the actor...he was in so many things. My fav with him is Time Bandits.
I really like the background set up. Those figures and statues all look sick together. Very easy on the eyes
Thanks man, I kept that set up for a while
Great video. Computron was released singularly though as i brought them when they first came out & still have them 'opened though'.
Hey Thanks for the info bud. Seems it was different in different regions.
I had one of the Mego Spiderman figures back in the 70's and the Superman and Batman ones. Had the massive plastic Batmobile too for the Batman figure. My mum bought them from a huge toyshop in Sheffield called Redgates. Someone told me it was the biggest toyshop in the uk at the time. I remember it being absolutely massive with several floors to it.
Ah man I miss the excitement of running around toy shops!
Cool video. To the point and very informative. Any info on the Star Trek line?? Maybe ? Lol
I'm a new subscriber. Looking forward to future videos.
Thanks.
Hey welcome to the channel bud. Unfortunately I know very little about Star Trek. I ned to do some research!
I was a very serious collector of 1/6 figures, had over 250, some extremely rare, and a decade ago my home of 23 years burned and destroyed almost all of them. Insurance paid the going rate for each one according to ebay and other auction/sale sites. Got a good ROI, but I would rather have the toys.
Ah man that's a heart breaker. Still thank goodness you were insured! On the bright side it just means you get to enjoy building your collection all over again!
How weird I know of you through an old friend and you've been recommended to me by the yt algorithm.
Hey the algorithm is working! Welcome to the channel bud! :)
This was great, some are cheesy looking but I would still love to have them. The package looks awesome
Thanks man. They’re definitely a mixed bunch!
David saw you on XManny s vid. Shit s sad man... hope my man pulls through! Glad to see there s no stopping you though!! Stay healthy physically and mentally!!!
Loving all the different subjects for vids, very inspired!
@@fitzroy_4272 sad, but hopefully it s for the best for him!
I'm happy that Manny is doing what's right for him. This youtube hobby should feel like a fun escape, not an overbearing commitment. I'm sure Manny is going to do a get job at getting himself sorted and I wouldn't be surprised if we see him back on YT better than ever at some point!
I love collecting toys especially action figures, I've been at it since 1996 and there is nothing like owning rare figures. My favorite toys are Godzilla, Jurassic Park and nowadays Fortnite
Those new fortnite figures really do look excellent. I don't even know the characters but the designs are awesome.
Wow super cool collection my friend :)
that was deeper than i thought, ;) .. I was thinking like 2011 Tygra, 2010 Motuc Fisto & Ram Man or Sotu unmasked Vega..always full of surprises David...wasnt able to relate except Toybiz ML, & 90s tmnt figures, but still cool picture of your generation's toys..lol!
Oh yeah, this list went waaaay in to the deep cuts. I mean, Dinosaurcers?!
I miss toyfair magazine
A classic from the 90’s!
Of all the figures I ever bought, the ones that have probably appreciated the most are the 12-inch sideshow Universal monsters both in color and in black and white. Of course a lot of sideshow 12-in figures sold out very quickly back in the day. I was lucky enough to get multiples of the 12-in creature from the Black lagoon in both color and black and white. I had always wished they would have made those 12 in Universal figures with glow in the dark parts kind of like the old Aurora Universal monster models.
Ah man yes those are classic!
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour
I got my Joe's and my Munsters displayed everywhere. I even keep my Hot Wheels tracks out. It's the stuff dreams are made of.
i’m surprised a vintage MOC scareglow didn’t make this list. keep up the ongoing good work Dave
Time for a new list!
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour keep the good stuff coming!
In the US Computron was sold as 5 individual figures, as I have Scattershot!
In my opinion Transformers got lazy after the epic 1986 movie, when most happened in space. Nothing had to look like anything anymore and most of the line was written off as “sci-fi” awkward hunks of crap. “How do YOU KNOW what an alien spaceship looks like?”. It took the “Robots in Disguise” completely out of the equation.
Hasbro/Takara also didn’t have to worry about licensing space junk. Even though, I seriously argue, it’s the companies like Nissan, Lamborghini, Walther, Lancia, GM, Chevrolet, Porsche that should have been paying Hasbro/Takara, not the other way around. Silly humans.
That’s so interesting, I never thought how backwards it was that the toys essentially paid to advertise the cars!
Wouldn't the "Wonder bread" He-Man be rarer and more expensive than Faker? 🤔
I'm not familiar with that figure. He may well be. I was just going from some random list I googled! :)
I think you mean "Wun-Dar the Savage He-Man" , many call him the "Wonder bread" He-Man but that's not the correct name .
Won dar is one of the most mysterious figures ever made...everyone believed that he was a mail away for wonder bread ....he goes for 4000$ easily
@@chrisguss8454 In this video you can hear a little more about him :
ua-cam.com/video/ah4KAUdJV6Y/v-deo.html
$4000 is a little much , you find him arround $700 with luck for $500 or even much less .
@@paluxyl.8682 You can find him on you tube and ebay
I always tried to find the Blank as a kid when I found out why I was like huh? No wonder.
Lol finally it all makes sense!
Your videos are great you deserve a lot more subscribers
Aw thanks owls. Glad you give you hoot! Thanks for being one of the subscribers!
Greatest American Hero?? Love him! Oh and my favorites The Last Star Fighter. Believe there are some prototypes out there.
Those really are some retro classics!
They were going to make last starfighter toys??
Rocket firing Boba Fett was never available to the public. I believe there was a high profile story of a child choking on a small toy piece at the time, which forced Kenner to scrap the feature pretty late into the design process. Only prototypes and mock-ups exist, hence the rarity
That makes a lot of sense. It's interesting as many folks claim to have owned him as children. It must be a Mandella affect situation! :)
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour Oh it was so late into production that it was well advertised and photos of the firing rocket figure were everywhere. That's one explanation for why kids would be so familiar with it
The specific toy piece responsible for choking a young boy was a rocket fired from a Battlestar Galactica vehicle. The rocket from the Boba Fett figure was about the same size, shape, and colour as the rocket fired from the BSG vehicle so I am sure that played a big role. (Just think about the legal and financial trouble they would be in if another kid got seriously hurt or worse from a toy part very similar to one that they knew killed another child.)
LOVE UR VIDEOS AS ALWAYS!
Aw thanks Po!
damn i had a technodrome as a kid. this really makes me wish i still had it
Hey at least you enjoyed it as a kid! :)
Just picked up that Bishop (BAF) Marvel Legends figure today! probably one of my favorites, Toxic is a close second, with Archangel coming in as well
Yeah Toxin looks awesome!
Wow, this is ONE amazing comment from you there buddy. And we all care because of why?
I think the McFarlane Spiderman is definitely a modern day rare figure. I cant find one below $200!
Ah man tell me about it! The box set recently went back on sale in the UK but I couldn’t justify £150 for just one figure that I needed!
I've seen the recent vintage one going for£ 70-100.
That was only 20 quid 6months ago.
When I watched the video came a very old memory of my toys in childhood. And I think I must have Vlix still in my old chest! I need to look for ir...
That's why I love these old retro look backs, so many great memories. And due if you have Vlix that's crazy! I'd love to know if he's actually in that chest of yours!
Wish I had a few of these... Oh well. Great content. 👍
Thanks Marby. I'd Love to have a few on these in my collection too!
I owned the Green Beret GI Joe as a kid,but as kids do,he got pretty beat up and eventually thrown out.If only I knew then I would have treated him better.
Hey as long as you had fun with him!
I thought for sure a Disney The Black Hole Humanoid with boots would have been on the rarity list. I still have mine, as well as Old Bob and STAR.
Ah I haven't heard of that one. Might be time already to make a second list!
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour yes, it was another “only released in Canada” figure due to poor sales. Very rare now
I had a lot of these toys as a kid, i remember playing like heck with
Computron
Technodrome
Eternia set was the base of the bad guys
Castle greyskull was for the ggod guys
And i had that i think its called snake mountain? From he man, had the rubber snake you wore like a glove! That was a good one too!
When i see how valuable all the toys I had as kid are today is crazy!
Oh and DinoSaucers had a cool intro song!
Right I'm going to jump in to youtube now and look up that theme song!
Really surprised you didn’t include anything from Kenner’s Jurassic Park lines. The Carnotaurus “Demon” series II and Thrasher T-Rex from the chaos effect line can both fetch over $1,000 sealed in box!!
Hey great recommendations. Those are definitely going in the next list!
Thank you for doing this video.
i had the technodrone and it was still in great condition right up till the day my house burned down in 1993 ...taking every one of my huge collection of TMNT toys with it.
Oh man that's heartbreaking! I feel for you!
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour i kept most my turtle figures mint even though i was only 9-11, when i hit 11 i just packed them up technodrome too with all it's accessories nothing was missing .. then the house burned down when i was 12. yes it's heart breaking.
I understood the MacGuyver Simpsons joke immediately. I had seen that classic episode dozens of times. "Aunt Selma has only ONE HOUR to live!!!"
Lol always come here for the deep cute Simpsons references!
Mego Robin with a removable mask is rarer than the Mego Spiderman.. Not many were released in the market before they changed Robin with a non-removable mask.. For the marvel legends line, for me the Baf Apocalypse in black variant is the rarest.. You need to find 6 figures the came with the black variant parts.. Love these kinds of vids.. Keep up the great work..
Hey thank you so much for the informative comment and encouragement!
I'm brazilian and I was a kid in the 80s, so I had Vlix and all five Dinosaucers (the show was a success here) produced by Glasslite. This company also manifactured MacGyver here. Another brazilian rarity was Cobra de Aço (Steel Cobra) from the G.I. Joe line. Hard to find in mint condition, mostly because of the chromed head.
It sounds like Brazil had a really thriving toy industry!
I’m so jealous! I LOVED Dinosaucers as a kid and wanted toys related to the show. Eventually I became obsessed with ExoSquad and had a LOT of E-Frames. I still haven’t forgiven my mom for tossing them.
Great video and content!
Thank you so much my friend!
My brother and I both got a transformer one each , the only new in box bug one we ever got as kids we got for Xmas. And I got the two headed dragon from the bad guys, snd he got the big spaceship that was middle of computron. So yah they must’ve been sold separately cuz I remember him opening it
Ah those found like fun childhood memories. I think they must have been sold in different formats around the world.
Good list. Glad i have my computron from many years ago.
Worth holding on to!
Pretty dumb how so many of these are only expensive because no one wanted them, so not many were made. “Oh, no one wants this? Better mark up the price to an excessive amount, then they’ll want it!”
Worthless to the mass market can mean priceless to collectors! :)
Be interesting to see what the Cara Dune figure from The Mandolrian will be worth.
Apparently there is some out there there that got made prior to Gina getting fired.
This is definitely one that will be fascinating to see play out.
Makes me glad I got cara for a decent price at the same time the controversy happened with Gina. Probably one of my grail figures along with captain rex
I got one at a show for 20 bucks in mint condition.
I just sold the scratch the cat Tmnt I grew up with about 4 years ago for $550 I had all but 1 of his weapons
Man nice going! And that price wasn’t even complete? Amazing!
One just sold on ebay last week for $1500. I'm about to post mine
It was with no box
If im honest that was a little low, along as your happy with that price. But, I'm sure you could of got more. Nice gojng bro....
Great video! Couple more that are pretty hard to find is the Mego Black Hole 3.75 Humanoid and S.T.A.R. figures. They were wave two of the figures that were only put out in Canada and Italy because the movie did poorly at the box office and merchandise did not sell well.
Great suggestions!
I actually had a couple of the robot action figures from 'The Black Hole', back in the day. Wish I had been able to talk my mom into buying the space ship, but no luck. Got super lucky in 1985, mom bought me a G 1 "Jetfire" Transformers toy (a direct repaint and repackage of the Takatoku Macross VF - 1 transforming mecha fighter). good times, man
☺
Do you remember or have the Inspector gadget McDonald’s character that had a bunch of separate parts that made it up?
I never heard of that. Time to do some research!
My little brother had that. It was from the Matthew Broderick film. Neat toy. I had the 80s Galoob one based on the original cartoon. Both are awesome toys!
Missing allot of figures!!! You can probably do a whole video just on the rare gi joe Brazil and Venezuela line
Time for a updated list!
Maybe Computron was only sold as a box set in the U.K., but in the states they were sold individually as well, as were all combiners. He's no more valuable than any of the other combiners mint in box or loose.
ugh, I had the Jawa, Vader, Spider-Man, and Beret GI Joe as a kid.
Ah man, I feel for ya. I've been thee too!
Very good video really enjoyed it
Hey thanks so much Ian, I had a lot of fun throwing it together!
Crimson dawn physlocke was never released. Along with silver yellow juggernaut and silver top power man
Ah yes, I remember seeing pics of that silver Juggs
Psylocke
computrons autobots were sold separately. I had the motorcycle and the sports car. I remember seeing them sold in stores.
I've been hearing that a lot. Maybe it's a UK / US difference.
Dude I grew up playing with about 10 of these toys on this list I definitely grew up with He-Man GI Joes Transformers and of course Ninja Turtles
Man I grew up with those exact same collections. Children of the 80's!
Great list!
Thanks Jerry!
ToyBiz's unreleased wave from the Iron Man line did see a few Dark Aegis figures given out as prizes to winners of a contest
Ah interesting. I didn’t know about that.
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour It was a contest done through Toyfare magazine.
Some of these figures are rare and really rare and insanely rare but this would not be my top 30 respectfully of course I appreciate your content I can think of a dozen or more figures that should be on the list
Time for an updated list then!
God I can't believe how many of the Mutants Ninja Turtles, Transformers and Star Wars characters I have bought my son's over the year's.
Too bad we don't have the Optimism Prime anymore.
I was surprised that there wasn't and Ghost Busters toys.
We had the car, the station and all the other toys of that line. The power packs the traps. Everything.
I had a Glow in the dark ghost mansion that I loved.
It wasn't popular I wonder if whatever made it glow was that safe.
I was a Christmas gift,1964(?) I can't really remember.
I think it had something to do with the Adams Family, or the Munsters (?).
I can't really remember.
But loved playing with it.
Great segment.
Thanks.
✌❤🇨🇦🐈
Gosh those are some real retro classic you listed there. Man now you mentioned it I'm also surprised at the lack of Ghostbusters. I loved those toys as a kid.
I got a techno drome at the goodwill a few years back . I think I sold it for 40$ .
Man that’s a heck of a find. Gotta love second hand stores!
Holy shit! I have a 90% complete computron. I just grabbed it along with some games I picked up at a yard sale. No idea it was hard to find.
God bless the random yard sale!
Ha!!!!! There is NO way you found one complete at a garage sale dude.....BUT at least you got 3 seconds of fame on here claiming you did. Some people just have NO idea what they're talking about, one of those people are you.
I was happy to see Computron/Techonobots here. I have a ScatterShot that belonged to my older cousin. He only had the 1 Technobot and I'm sure there were sold separately
You’re right! I think there was some mixed information
I had that Jawa as a kid. I also had telescoping lightsaber Darth Vader. The lightsaber broke quickly. Wish I still had some of them. Never had the Millennium Falcon, but did have Slave 1, a Snow Speeder and a Darth Vader display case along with a ton of figurines.
I was from the same generation!
excellent just found ur channel new sub here
Welcome to the party pal!
I honestly never heard of the Crimson Dawn Psylocke or silver shirted Luke Cage(power man). An awesome educational video, David. No 🐃💩. I used to have a bunch of Mego figures as a kid. If only I kept them on card.
Ah you wouldn't want to have missed out on the fun you must have had playing with them!
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour 😁True.......so very true😁.
For people who don't collect figures it's really hard for them to understand how certain figures could be so sought after.
It's a collector mentality that is hard to explain!
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour
It is hard to explain. People either get it or they don't. All that classic stuff from the '60s. Hell, I still got a big collection of Aurora models. Those Universal monster figures are timeless. What kid on this planet didn't love the shit out of those things? All this collecting, it's not my fault. If they didn't make all this great stuff I wouldn't be buying it.
Its hilarious how the rocket powered Boba became a thing in mandalorian
That’s fantastic service done right!
Weren't there rocket firing mandos in clone wars?
I had every single TMNT action figure and vehicle same with GI joes... My grandma when I was a kid found a full bin of all 3.75 GI joes with the space shuttle and huge boat all for about 50-60$ I think at the time... Smh wish I still had all that stuff. Miss being a kid and finding gems like that at yard sales before the Internet ruined everything and u can't find anything except for scalper prices smh.
Ah man I miss the good old days of yard sales!
LJN Sargent Slaughter wrestling figure from the 80s is extremely rare and expensive. I believe it was a mail away figure.
Those mail away figures are definitely instant hot items. I loved old Sarge, that'd be a fun one to find.
McMAN PULL THE FIGURE BECAUSE THE SARGENT WAS HOOK UP WITH G.I. JOE AND DIDN'T GET ROYALTY ON HIS FIGURES.
Hulk Hogan pro wrestling 1981 Popy Sufobi figure. Actually that entire wrestling line is a pain to find.
Gosh I’ve never even heard of those. Great suggestion. I’ll look them up!
The ether has alot of stuff trapped in it. Nice video!
Occasionally it will randomly spit them out on the shelf of a second hand store :)
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour Nice 😅🎉🤗
I have Computron. Here in the USA we could buy the Technobots separately, which I did. I'll have to see how much it's worth.
Thank you for the info! It seems that they were released in different forms in different regions.
I have a marvel legends series 2 or 3 I think, it's the one with the hellfire club comic and pedestal with their thugs in it but this particular one has 2 left hands.
I remember that set with the goons. Makes for a fantastic diorama piece!
This list should definitely have included: Humanoid from Black Hole, Capt. Action Spider-Man, Greatest American Hero, Aquaman and Shark by Mego, some of the stretch superhero figures by Mego, Deathlor from the Speclatron line, Magnum PI, a mint boxed original Fortress Maximus, just to name a few
Yep those all sound like extremely legit pics. I know what you mean that several of those figures are worth well more than the lower ones on the list. I kinda like how the list goes on a bit of a sliding scale though from 'Kinda pricey' to 'Second mortgage' material.
yes!! love figure top lists . 30 is a large amount!! WOW 🏆
make more videos like this? thank you
Definitely more like this to come!
I totally got computron in separate parts. I know cause it was the only one I assembled from collecting it.
Thanks man, I'm hearing this a lot. I'm told maybe it was different in the US and UK.
A mint carded Vinyl cape Jawa showed up on Shopgoodwill a couple of years ago and it lasted for a day and the listing dissapeared. It was so clean it would of graded a 9 for sure, I wonder what happened to that.
Ah man that's the dream right there. To walk in to a thrift store and see your retirement plan just sitting there on the shelf next to a random Beanie Baby!
Oh God.................that was a custom figure there chum. IF you collected and were knowledgeable you would notice the difference between a vintage classic figure compared to a custom rip off. Do you believe we have a base on the moon as well? Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another rare bunch are the Godzilla: The Series action figures. Prototypes were made, painted, yet the entire line was never released because the show was canceled after 2 seasons. Now I think the prototypes are all owned by one guy, or a few guys....
Ah yes I remember that Godzilla show be held in far higher regard than the movie it was based on.
I always wondered why there were no toys. Not even repaints of the movie figures. Good show. _Great_ animation, too.
Nightmares on wax backing music plus I had a vinyl cape jawa as a kid. No idea what happened to it x
Glad you enjoyed the vid my friend. Nightmares on wax just seems to compliment any video!
Dick Tracy was suppose to be Disney's answer to 1989 Batman... you can see the similarities....
You're absolutely right. Especially with the Danny Elfman score. Both nostalgic classics for me.
When I was a kid I had 5 of the vinyl Jawas and I had the Darth Vader with the "crappy" light saber that I broke on my b-day and my Mom returned it.
Hey even if you could have got a lot of money for them today it sounds like you enjoyed the real value of playing with them as a kid and that's what's important! (Ok actually the money is important too! :) )
I still have that mego Spiderman from my childhood, along with Hulk, Batman, and Superman. Somehow Robin got lost.
Wow that's proper old school!
