I am a white Zimbabwean that left Zimbabwe in the 1990's to pastures new, but I still love Zimbabwe and the people of Zimbabwe. I think Rose-Marie is an inspiration to all Zimbabweans and pray that her and her family live long and prosperous. Well done and good luck.

Because of her beautiful heart, is why She had such a luck with her business and succeded. God helped her. I love to see this story. Makes me also feel happy!!!
Sincerely loved watching this story of a family’s dream in action. Hearing that her oldest son came back after graduating college to help his mom settle her loan from the bank and end up being the catalyst for taking the business to reach the next level, gave me chills. So Powerful! This woman’s faith, to achieve something greater, is infectious!
I am slightly confused because i was born in Zimbabwe and my mothers was very independent and we (me and her) ran a mushroom farm and I don't remember her needing my dad to do this, even our house is still under her name. I guess its an education thing. I do talk about this is the book; A Young Womans Guide To Creating A Balanced Life.
The laws may have changed, however I know for certain in the past, legally the man had all the control of assets in a marriage and the woman had no rights, so possibly unusual that the house is in her name. It may not have anything to do with how independant the woman is, rather it's how the law would view it. My mother, a doctor, paid for the house etc. but due to her marriage to my father, he was the one who had the rights to sell it, not her.
Hi Connie just been watching you musical videos on your channel good onya. I am currently an Oyster Mushroom farmer in Zimbabwe, which mushroom did you and your mom grow and where, is that operation still running! Was fascinated to hear you grew mushrooms and made a good living of it. Cheers

This is churning the stomach of the western imperialists! They are drooling....CIA & MI5 very likely working hard to bring Zimbabwe back to neoliberalism like many of its African states...
“As long as you work hard, you can make”. The “American dream” still exists, too bad you have to go all the way to Zimbabwe to find someone who still believes it...
Exactly deep down we Zimbabweans are imperialists lolz we love to do what other Africans do. We work so hard. We love everyone n respect everyone. We love good things. Most of the top rated cars in Africa are owned by Zimbabweans showing the level of desire for being top top top on everything. It's not genetic it's the atmosphere cross the plateau
this is what the president of Zimbabwe is saying. Empowering the locals through telling them that the natural resources in the country belongs to them and not to foreign companies and foreign governments like the US and Britain. He has been sanctioned and punished by the EU,the US and Canada for that.
Actually Mugabe pushed the local people off the mines and stole it all for himself. The sanctions only applied to a few cabinet ministers, not the whole country.
It is harder to attract capital, if the investors does not have control of the company (49%).The investor would really have to trust the majority stockholder. I can understand the idea of excluding foreigners from natural resources, but that also mean, one can not expect any foreign help in extracting it.
Whites love to go to Africa and show the worst side to discourage Blacks from returning back and making life better there. But Africa is beautiful, the people have so much potential, the land is RICH, we are a great nation waiting to grow.
DemGentleboy Im currently in Ghana with the CDC. Very low crime. Yes the people are poor. They have roadside shops with fruit, furniture pottery and many other things. Nice positive spin on the fact that a significant portion of the population has to pan for gold to survive because the economy has been destroyed and nobody trusts paper money any more so they cannot be loaded up with IMF slavery debt. In many markets they trade gold dust directly for foodstuffs because the UN backed collapse of Rhodesia (through sanctions) has left them unable to maintain even an agrarian economy. Those foodstuffs are sent there as"aid", flooding the market and making farming an unviable business activity even without the government going around and uprooting any stable farming business that takes hold because the farmers were a point of heavy resistance during the revolution. Good work UN, another nation saved, try not to pull a muscle patting yourselves on the back.
zimbabwe would have been a well develop country by now if the former president and is goverment officials never rip off the country, this lady is a strong woman

Well done Rose-Marie. Hard work and perseverance paid off. Really sad that her husband isn’t around to see it but I’m sure he is smiling down on her and their children.
It's good to see some progress in Zimbabwe, hopefully the locals get the benefit of a prosperous industry. I congratulate Rosie-Marie on her success, from her high dedication and sacrifice. Hopefully a stable economy can return to Zimbabwe, and a brighter future ahead. The people of Zimbabwe has suffered under corruption for a long time, and if this issue still persists, this fairy-tale can easily turn into a nightmare. Zimbabwe has an extremely dark history with a very long and bloody civil war, foreign interference and manipulation.
I really like here strategy of putting an effort to raise money and educate here kids , thank you so much Rose . I wish you many more years to come so that you can educate some other woman
I guarantee there are other people who live there who works harder than she does and persevering but still dying with nothing. Her sending her son to school brought back innovative ideas to help her gold mining business. But this is truly an amazing story and am very, very happy to see the natives benefit from their own land. It’s about time 🙏 and God bless you for helping your friend and showing her and other poor people the way.
If you work harder and persevere, you don't die with nothing but with something. Hard work and perseverance pays big time, so don't guarantee us nothing.
Normally we share 50%for the owner of the mine and 50% for the workers of all the gold proceeds. Problem is that most of the workers never put the money to good use no matter how much you try to teach them and show them financial intelligence - it is sad to say the least, its a mentality issue.
Rose-Marie is living in a beautiful house and paid money to take care of all her children's and grandchildren's expenses, but she said she wished that her workers (employees) families could do the same to also afford to take care of their children. Rose-Marie is getting the most wealthy (rich) from "deep mining"(because the surface gold is gone and has already been removed) but her 25 workers (5 women) are not getting as much gold money as she is. But she is helping other women with gold mining consulting advice. Also keep the Chinese and other foreign investors "out" of the country because "all" of the gold is only for the Zimbabwean people.
im curious as to how this would factor in with the collapse of the Zimbabwe dollar, many Zimbabwe merchants will only take gold as money. 0.1gram for a loaf of bread. the Mugabe dictatorship wont help her, only she can help herself. good for her, I hope her business prospers. in this video the narrator mentions Zimbabwean economic potential. unfortunately their fiat currency has collapsed they use the U.S. Dollar now, or gold. Zimbabwe has very little economic potential in the current global economy

God is blessing Zimbabwe regardless of the SANCTIONS from the USA (ZIDERA).
Why do we always hear that Zimbabwe has large mineral resources and they do not translate into a growing economy? The wealth that is spoken is not that much, from mineral resources and Zimbabwe is not listed on a world rating, as a big producer of gold. It is not ranked at all. Chromium is the only mineral in large enough quantities to be mentioned on the world scale. Zimbabwe will do well to humble themselves and manage their resources meaningfully and accept the fact that it is a small country landwise and needs to manage its minerals better than at present. Mortaging their diamond resources to the Chinese was not a good idea and those deposits are now dwindling fast.
Colonizer please, Zimbabwe is the 3rd largest producer of Platinum in the world after South Africa and Russia.
