Dominique I too look younger without makeup and that makes me wonder why even bother wearing makeup?! I guess, to look more beautiful and hide flaws🤷🏼♀️😳 yeah, that's it. I feel more confident and attractive with it.
Noora h I think most people look younger because once we put on makeup it accentuates our wrinkles but I would rather that then show my dark spots and dark circles.
Dominique Thats why I don’t wear make up that much especially concealer and foundation. They make me look waaay more older but I still watch videos of my fave YTers and always ask myself how can they wear that much make up on their faces 🤔 even when I follow step by step still looks not good and then I get frustrated and my mood goes down Lol
So agree!! Her skin is so lovely!! It’s dewy and not super shiny like a lot of foundations cause to happen. She’s a beautiful woman with stand out natural loveliness, big expressive doe eyes, perfectly pink natural lip color. Yeah, she my supermodel I want to look like!!

Allie Glines recently did one trying an eyeshadow look that was out of her comfort zone. Thought since we’re all a bit bored right now that playing with some colorful makeup looks (when we don’t have to go anywhere lol) could be a fun video idea for you! Maybe try to recreate a look you like, but wouldn’t ordinarily wear.

I think part of the issue with the foundation is that the shades makes you look a little ill. It sallows your skin a bit which is strange. But then again if you moved to a deeper shade, it would be far too dark.
Grace Mcewen yes! I think the undertone is off. It’s the right lightness, darker would be bad, but the undertone is just not right. It also is quite flat.
I really like this chopping block style try ons its really informative and helps me make good decisions with my purchasing habits.

Hi Jess! Going to watch Tiger King soon. Heard a lot about it. Try the Tower 28 cream blush, the kosas concealer and the roen 52 degree cool palette. You will LOVE the kaja airheart lipstick shade sweetheart since you have pigmented lips it will look like te perfect nude on you it is almost same consistency as the sephora lip clicks. Bit thicker not sticky or gloppy

Lindsay Fo I bought the elf coconut hydrating mist, and the elf matte mist and set as my quarantine gift to myself. Glad I’m not the only who did that. 😅😅 even though both were cheap products I felt a lot of guilt about it, but sometimes those little joyous moments in the morning that help you feel better can make the world of difference! 💜
Do you have dry under eyes? My under eyes are very dry so I would love to know how if your wooly or dry cause I need a new amazing powder!!

Is the powder actually called "No 7 Lift and Luminate Pressed Powder"? I'm from the UK and I can't find it, there are other No 7 pressed powders like "Airbrush Away" and "Perfect pressed" but I don't want to buy the wrong one? 🤷🏽♀️

I absolutely love the colourpop no filter concealer! I have dry under eyes and have noticed a huge difference by applying a hydrating or smoothing primer under my eyes before applying concealer. It really helps smooth everything out!

Thank you for continuing to make videos. My dad passed unexpectedly last Thursday and because of the coronavirus, I can't be with my mom and brother during this time. I wish my mom watched UA-cam to help distract her because she's no longer speaking to anyone just crying profusely. I'm doing all I can from my house to make arrangements for him so my mom doesn't have to do it. I think my mom is broken. My brother, whom is with her, is trying to caring for her and I'm doing the phone calls to the funeral home and everything else that she can't do right now. So we're super stressed, but at least I can watch your videos and not worry about something upsetting me. ❤

I think, if you agree after watching this video, it wouldn’t be as inconvenient as you might think to continue to repurchase and have it perform the way you like. I recommend: The next time you buy a brand new mascara that you ARE gonna use right away, buy this one, as well. Open both at the same time, then use your other new one up. In a few months, that one will be done, and this one will be “dried out,” and ready! ❤️

I love using the Wet N Wild Color Icon "bronzer" in the shade Reserve Your Cabana as an all over finishing powder. I take a big fluffy brush and just brush and buff it into my skin to make sure everything is blended. The powder gives a soft glow and it just makes everything look smooth.
I feel the same way about thePat McGrath foundation either!!! I don’t love the concealer and setting powder

If u only like a mascara after it drys out a bit but u don't want it to go bad. U can leave it open overnight. If ur too nerves to do it that long, 4-6 hrs will do. I know it sounds scary but it really works

I feel the same way about the colourpop concealer. I still use it because I hate throwing products away, but I definitely won't be repurchasing. I love the catrice camoflague concealer!!!
Hi Jessica. Love watching your videos. Rather than getting rid of all the products you mentioned today with the exception of the mascara of course...can you make another video showing how to use up products that we hate in another way. Example hate a highlighter so use it as an eyeshadow. Some of us that buy expensive products and then realize we hate them don’t have the luxury of just decluttering them. Thanks! ❤️
I wanted to tell you that I bought the physicians formula stick bronzer even after yours turned funny, but I use it every for about two months and haven't had a single problem. And Meijer now sells it so I'm super happy that it worked out.
The Colourpop No Filter concealer is actually my favorite for my under eye concealer. I also use it for my hyper pigmentation on my chin area. I haven't tried every concealer ever made but out of the ones I have tried I think it's great!
I bought myself today the essence lash princess.
Also I picked up the elf brow pencil in the white packaging in dark brown.
I was struggling to find an eyebrow that didn’t run red and was neutral.
I am happy with it!
I am at home and I got my hair dyed and I am living in the dark brunette club!
Your description of the Pat McGrath foundation is exactly how I feel about The Ordinary Serum foundation. It's just too watery thin and if my skin isn't super smooth it somehow grabs onto dry spots I didn't know I had.

I bought the Too Faced highlighter palette for the first shade and I feel like it is worth it. I will use the glittery one more in summer for sure and I love the subtle middle for days I want a soft glow. I feel like it isn't suited to under eyes ate all though---not milled finely enough,

Same! I try to do the same when things are sitting around. I like the blush. I didn’t have issues with it with my fingers or a small stipple brush.

This is a great way to do one last test before decluttering. I think the mascara looked nice but it’s not great waiting months for that point.
I do the same as you, Jessica! If I'm not reaching for a certain item on a regular basis, I give it another try or two to find out why. Once my feelings are confirmed, I get rid of it! Enjoyed this video!

I've never tried the Rollerlash mascara, but I did take note of a tip from another YT beauty person (Cate the Great): she uses Lancome's Monsieur Big mascara first for volume, then applies a coat of the Rollerlash to separate and lengthen. Yeah, that's a lot to go through for a mascara, but if you were trying to use it up, there's a thought. I've heard similar how-tos involving Covergirl's Clump Crusher mascara as well. And, I think I'm the only person on the planet who really likes those Covergirl cream blushes, ROFL! Leave em for meeeeee! Great video and I appreciate your reviews!
the soft focus section of the too faced palette is NOT a setting powder, it is meant to be used as a finishing powder dusted over areas you want to brighten and give a more airbrushed look to after your makeup is done...you can't knock down a product for not doing something it never claims to do

I love the colourpop concealer but I have really olive skin so the yellow under tones work just fine for me . I think for your skin tone the beat one I’ve seen is the cover girl I forgot the name but it’s the one with the black and white stripes on the wand top :) I love watching your videos !
@Jessica Braun you may really like the Bourjois sorbet blush is raspberry. I bought it while I was abroad, but I'm pretty sure you can get it online. It's a liquid gel type blush in a really fresh sheer reddish pink. It's the kind of color that looks like you just came out of the cold, ya know?

I watched Jamie Paige's 5 makeup tips video and tried the foundation + moisturiser on a foundation brush trick she featured. My foundation has never looked so healthy and beautiful! I feel like it might be a technique that you would like as well!

I have been watching you for about three years and our tastes are identical! I buy a lot that you recommend and have loved every single item except Bambi Lash mascara. I think the items from this video just look like makeup - makeup that just sit on top of the skin! But you look flawless anyway! Love from Kentucky!
Colourpop concealer - I put a super light layer of face oil (I have FAB) under it and it looks so much better. Mine is half gone, and I want to finish it because the color is a good match right now.
If you preferred more of a matte, doll-like look then the foundation is actually perfect. I personally prefer that, but I'm not buying high end foundation to blank out my skin lol. *You look very pretty!!!
Just like I like your natural brows, I also like your natural nails. I "get" that the powder dip look perfect for weeks and I loved that part of them too, but they just damaged my nails so much and I didn't like making the time to get them redone, even every month. Anyway! I don't think you need to curl your fingers under to spare us from your natural nails in close-ups. :) They look fine. I found putting oil on them twice a day helped them a lot.
I can’t believe the cost for that foundation!! Your skin looks gorgeous with the WNW dewy foundation!! I’m like you, I can’t stand when a foundation doesn’t do anything for my skin.. That’s how the Becca skin love or whatever it’s called looked on me!! I’ll take a $5 foundation over something so expensive and not right for my skin any day.. you’re the reason why I love the WNW dewy🤣🤣
