I recently went through all my makeup bags! I gave them all to my sister’s coworker (she’s a high school teacher). Her coworker started a group at the school where she and students make feminine hygiene and makeup kits for homeless women and women in shelter 💕!! Love your videos 💕💕💕
The extra bags could be used to organize gigi's hair ties etc. Also - when school is back in session - some pads and drop off at your old elementary school for the girls who get their first period at school?
Your declutters are NEVER boring! Plus, you’re kind of brutal with your declutters which I like haha! Declutter videos are the only thing that seem to help motivate me to get up and spend 30 minutes trying to clean out my stuff - even if it’s just a drawer at a time. Please make more!
Yes, please more lifestyle and declutters and clean and organize with me! I love all of your declutters and watch every single one but those are my favorite. If you decorate any time too and film it, those would be great too. Your house inside and out is beautiful. It's definitely not boring to me! Thank you! :)
Seriously that TSA bag is literally THE BEST; I can't believe I have ever used anything else and almost want to buy more to have backups. It really fits SO MUCH; I could not believe how much I could get in there. I have not had an issue going through TSA with it; have flown about 10 times with it (only domestic; no international). I'm paranoid and always pack an empty ziplock just in case but I have never had to use it. Such a great find and I recommend anyone who flies a lot and carries on liquids that's an A+ find!
You probably don't want to know about more bags...BUT! Ziploc brand just came out with thick, travel/cosmetic sized bags. 2 sizes, a set of 5 for about $5. They are like the reusable zipper bags you use in your kitchen. I just ordered some on Wal-Mart's website. They are kinda cute too!
Never thought that I’d enjoy a makeup bag declutter video this much!!! And I did learn something from this (what kinds of bags you should get). Thanks Jessica for making it ❤️
Love this. I repurposed a lot of my "free" make up bags to my sewing and crafting room. They are great for holding the little bits of an in progress project (thread, buttons, other notions) all together while I'm working on it. Others have been repurposed to organize drawers and sort things like face masks and travel toiletries that I dont use every day but want to keep neat without buying a storage system.
I use my Ipsy bags to keep my purse somewhat organized. I use one for lip balm, tissues, and hand sanitizer. I loved seeing what you travel with and how much thought you put into what you keep. I’d love to see more of this type of videos!!
I, too, collect makeup bags - I just love the sizes, patterns, companies they're from and they can be so cute and helpful! I see some of yours I would love despite probably having about 50 of my own. Good job, Jessica🤗💜
I have way too many makeup bags but I use them for so many things...makeup, skincare, hair ties/bobby pins, Qtips/cotton balls, tweezers/nail clippers/small scissors, jewelry. I have a ton of Ipsy bags but if I don't like the design it gets donated right away so that helps. Love the little First Aid bag! Great idea!
I sooo want to pick up the makeup bag sets that Allie Glines created. I never travel but they look like they would be great for organization. The pink one you love is of similar design but the Allie Glines one is modular type and variety of sizes
I almost ordered when they use launched like were in my cart and decided to budget and pass... been regretting and waiting for the restock ever since lol.
I just did this same re~org/ declutter project myself about 1~2months ago. We had to cancel our travel plans in April, but looking forward to when we can travel safely again. I also wanted to ask you to thank Tyler for the great gardening content in your vlogs. I ate the first bit of my Rainbow Swiss Chard in a salad today and it made me so happy🥰
If you have any old ipsy bags, my friend is a kindergarten teacher in a low income area and the kids love those bags for their pencils, markers, etc.! Also, the pad and tampon idea for schools is brilliant!
Jessica, thank you so much for continuing to post amidst all this drama in the world, there continues to be UA-cam beauty drama. Not only are you never involved but you never even mention it. You and Bob's burgers are the only reason I open UA-cam anymore. I appreciate that and I hope you'll continue to stay above it. Stay safe Braun family.
I use my Ipsy make up bags to organize my bathroom. One for razor blades, one for skin masks, one for the dog’s stuff etc. love having everything organized in its own little bag.
Jessica, check out Twitterpated by Colourpop. Gorgeous peachy-pink super shock shadow with a gold flip to it. I think it might be similar to that Charlotte Tilbury color in your quad!! Also, love your shirt. 😍
When giving these bags away, you should hit up the dollar store (dollar tree is close to me) and fill it with women’s and men’s products and hand them out to ppl who need it! Socks, razors and shaving cream, toothpaste toothbrush, deodorant, etc! Lmk what u think?
I remember when you got that drawstring makeup bag because I ordered one on amazon after seeing yours. 😊I love it and it’s the only travel makeup bag I use now.
The orange one will be nice like a summer clutch bag. I use the small ones in my hand bag for different purposes (papers...). And also for traveling with kids for crayons and felt pens etc.
I use one of the flat-type bags for my “tech stuff” - chargers, earbuds, power bank. Always keep it in my purse and because it’s flat, it doesn’t take up too much room.
I bought that TSA approved bag from your suggestion way back when and I love it! It was so great on my two week trip to Europe back in November and all the traveling I was doing for work and pleasure beforehand. 😊
Not only do I travel quite a bit but due to health issues I'm in the hospital a lot and I love makeup bags for a little bit of everything. I use them to organize everything and I know I have way to many but they are so handy for stuff other than makeup.
I have always been a collecter of makeup bags. If I was going on a special trip, I would normally "treat" myself to a new bag. Now that I have a adopted a more minimal lifestyle, I have donated many of them. However, I have a 3 year old granddaughter, and I have repurposed some bags to hold her smaller toys in. AND, I fill some of them with things from the Dollar Tree, like pom poms, clear stones etc. She loves to sit with me and go through them!!
You motivate me to clean and organize every time you post one of these videos!!! Never think it's too long and boring... I'm putting you on pause for the times you are faster than me! 😆😂
Definitely bought a “lay & go“ bag years ago because of one of your packing videos. I don’t travel often but maybe a couple times visiting family and maybe one big trip. It is a life saver! Love having a place to put all my makeup! I have a container for my brushes and toothpaste but I love not having to take too much. Long story short thanks for sharing your stuff it has helped me tons!
My husband and I moved from Atlanta, GA to Albuquerque, NM about 2 years ago. I soooo miss the thunderstorms! I would never have thought, but I'd give pretty much anything for one really good downpour. On the flip side, I do not miss the humidity! lol
I love the rings you wear, especially the very simple thin one, I need to find myself one! I was having late night sleeping troubles and this was a relaxing video to watch! I have so many makeup bags, a lot I have gotten from Ipsy, and until I see a really cool bag or design from there again, I don't subscribe! I love the Vera Bradley Disney prints, although I don't have one of my own. Recently, during an Ulta sale I ordered a square standing bag from that brand Tartan + Twine and it was under $6!!!
Love the unique declutter! Consider reusing some of those discarded bags for other things such as wet clothing at the pool or crayons for the kiddo. They don’t have to be used to travel and can be “around the house storage” instead!
Absolutely bring my own meds & first aid kit whenever I travel. I remember years ago being on a cruise and having an allergic reaction. I don’t have them often, but occasionally (once or so a year), I’ll have a reaction to something and my eyes swell. I ended up buying Benadryl on the cruise for $20 USD for 10 pills. That would have been like $2 at home. What a waste of $$$. Now, I bring a few of a lot of types of pills on every trip. Takes up just a little space, but gives me peace of mind.
Love the pink TSA approved bag! I have the same one in grey, I travel about 7 weeks a year for work, and I LOVE IT. Cannot agree with you enough in recommending it! (Fellow Hoosier here, now live in PA. Thanks for the great videos always!)
This is such a good idea. I have accumulated so many make up bags throughout the years that are just taking up space.. can't even close the drawer all the way. Thanks for the inspo! :)
I just looked over my left shoulder, in the direction of the dresser where I know...I know....I know, I...MUST...DO...THIS! And the thing is, unless I’m traveling (which only happens every few years), I don’t carry makeup/toiletries around with me on the daily. A former coworker used to also work for a dept store makeup line, and she used to bring us promotions for things all the time, and the samples usually came in bags.
The brown LV dupe makeup bag isn’t on amazon anymore but the black and grey version is!!! $23 and all you need to look up is “checkered makeup bag” :)))
Hello, I love the way pinnochio lays between the pillows! Thanks for the Maybelline dusty rose suggestion. It’s not too shimmery on my 62 year old eyes. It is a one and done and I’m a darker complexion than you.☀️
That pink holographic Nabla bag is so cute! Was the first thing that caught my eye. I bought two holographic makeup bags from bath and body works recently that I love. That vibe just reminds me of my childhood lol
I use makeup bags to organize my handbag. One for my phone and charger, one for household stuff (paint chips, measuring tape, mini lint roller, pen, mini notepad) and one for ... makeup. 😉 The only "loose" things are my wallet and a Baggu nylon tote bag which folds into a small square. It's a cinch to change handbags when you organize this way! 👜💗
that pink bag that you mention being the best IS the best - I have it too and love how much fits inside. however, in european airports it raised eyebrows each time I went through with it. it wasnt even packed with stuff. in london, they made me remove all contents and put into a plastic baggie and anything that didnt fit i had to throw away. not saying that will happen to everyone, just putting it out there! domestically i have never had any issues! it is awesome and i will keep using it.
I also use them to keep other things in that are kind of flimsy or hard to keep organized, like my head ties and scarves, hair accessories, bobbby pins, etc.
I can’t remember the name rn because it’s like 4am here but, there’s a company you donate small bags too and they put together feminine products for young girls and donate to those that need them. It’s a great program and if you don’t feel like looking it up I can find it. They’ll send prepaid shipping too. For all the people throwing away Ipsy bags it’s for those too 😊
Before you throw all of those bags away....As a former Ipsy subscriber, I had amassed an insane amount of bags. After having kids, I discovered how ingenious they are at holding kid stuff. Everything from toys, small bits that go to different activities, games, toys, hair crap, etc. They work great to have some kid-tertainment for when you go to a restaurant, road trip, and so on. Once they are older, they can put pens, crayons, electronic wires/chargers/headphones, jewelry, and assume responsibility for their own belongings. The value I've gotten out of those bags over the last 15 years are so were well worth the cost of the subscription! I also have used them over the years in my own purses or school bags to keep all of my little things together that would otherwise be floating in my purse or bag. Its easy to keep track of things when each different bag has its own dedicated purpose. If its not too late, consider holding on to them and maybe just keep them out of your normal travel bag rotation. So worth it!
Watching listening to our thunderstorm. Loud with complete downpours. I have a bunch of makeup bags. I keep getting more with things or as gifts. I keep and when family, friends, my daughter want one, I twll them go in the drawer and take what they want.
When I lived in the US I subbed to Ipsy for about 6 months. They send you a cheapie makeup bag every month with your samples. I use the ones that held up for my jewlery, my makeup brushes, and to keep my chargers together when my husband and I travel back to the States to visit my family.
A great use for the leopard print zip tie bag is to put Gigi’s toys for at the hotel/Air BB/etc. in it. I bought my niece 3 of them for my great-nephew & 2 great-nieces & she is obsessed! Since she is a military wife, there can be looooonnng rides & it keeps LEGOS, Barbie accessories, little critters, etc. from being left behind at someone’s back ( = TOTAL MELTDOWN)!! So if you aren’t using it for makeup, it can absolutely be repurposed into a toy corral for your (ahem) "kids" (cough cough...you said it multiple times🙃😉)! 🤗💖🙏🏻✌🏼🌎
That one bag that's tan that had the elastic it it to hold brushes you could use for makeup and use the small elastic part for your lipsticks and concealers and anything that size
I have a thing for makeup bags and this was fun to watch! I’d love an updated video on packing makeup and skincare with your bags...for future travels❤️
I just moved, and had to facw the fact that i have a makeup bag addiction. The darn things wouldn't even fit in a single duffel bag. Including 3 (yep, 3) train case type of box with latches. I blame my love of minis. But i use the clear ones for toiletries. But i have dozens of different sized fabric ones that i cannot let go of. Special edition, gift with purchase bags and gift sets. Plus i always think the next one will be The One, and never need another one. I get it, and i didn't have the will to part with a single one. But this inspires me get a little cut throat and think about how and when i will use them.
Oh Jess, you’re so cute with all your bags!! Thank you for the extra video. I just finished watching Tyler with the homemade pizza dough a little while ago. I think I’ll just live vicariously through you guys. Our mode of pizza is “hello, I’d like to place an order please!” 😂😂😂😂 no but seriously, that pizza with the fresh basil from the garden was speaking to me!! I just adore you guys! Thanks for sharing!!
Jessica thank you for giving all of us what we need when we come to UA-cam, especially at the minute, which is an escape, I love your content as I have said before its like chatting to a friend on the phone to see how their week went , you are just so lovable and relatable and with all the toxicity on UA-cam at the min creators and influencers could take a huuugggeee leaf from your book , so thank you, your amazing keep being you😍💚😍💚
Your backyard makes my heart happy. Please don’t ever move. 😂
Omg I say this every single time. It’s my dream to have a yard like that
Seriously! I look forward on seeing the backyard in vlogs.
Seriously! So gorgeous.
The water is nice, but not private enough for my taste.
Don’t care what’s decluttered just watching it makes me so motivated to deep clean
Me: immediately watches video
Also me: has one super old nostalgia make up bag and one other that 95% of my makeup is shoved in in a drawer.
Ha I started cleaning my room while watching Jess. Good video😁
Me too
I recently went through all my makeup bags! I gave them all to my sister’s coworker (she’s a high school teacher). Her coworker started a group at the school where she and students make feminine hygiene and makeup kits for homeless women and women in shelter 💕!! Love your videos 💕💕💕
That's awesome!!
What a great idea
Sarah Nolte Right?! I wish I had thought of it first!!
The extra bags could be used to organize gigi's hair ties etc. Also - when school is back in session - some pads and drop off at your old elementary school for the girls who get their first period at school?
That's SUCH a good idea.
Watching the declutter playlist and I have to say, "romantically rainy day" is a very emotions-evoking phrase and I'm going to steal it.
Your declutters are NEVER boring! Plus, you’re kind of brutal with your declutters which I like haha! Declutter videos are the only thing that seem to help motivate me to get up and spend 30 minutes trying to clean out my stuff - even if it’s just a drawer at a time. Please make more!
Why do we love these videos? I can’t explain it, but it just gives me some kind of peace/joy/satisfaction for some reason
I love declutter videos in general. It's like you're hanging out with a friend going through her stuff, telling jokes n laughing the whole time
Is it truly a Jessie video if she doesn’t say “a store near me called Meijer” 😂😂❤️
Exactly 🤣
Really has made me want to try Meijer, tell ya that. Haha.
Meijer needs to sponsor her! I would die 😂
Canadian here- I’ve heard of it, but not often, and I always forget about it. Is it everywhere? Or only in certain areas?
Meijer is the best.
I never thought I would know of another person that loves makeup bags as much as I do! Thank you for filming this video!!!!
Yes, please more lifestyle and declutters and clean and organize with me! I love all of your declutters and watch every single one but those are my favorite. If you decorate any time too and film it, those would be great too. Your house inside and out is beautiful. It's definitely not boring to me! Thank you! :)

I could literally watch you declutter ANYTHING! So relaxing and motivating!!!
I just wanna day, I get back anxiety and panic attacks and watching your videos really help to distract me and calm me down
You should use the lay flat bag for toys for Gigi when you travel 😉
I was going to say this too! Especially all the little toys that kids love to bring with them! 🙂

Others have been repurposed to organize drawers and sort things like face masks and travel toiletries that I dont use every day but want to keep neat without buying a storage system.
Anyone else think she was going to declutter the "contents" of her makeup bag? Lol
Nope
I did lol 😅
I totally thought this.
@@Dgorr678 that's what I get for not looking at the thumbnail before watching video. I immediately click anything she posts. 😊
Me lol
I use my Ipsy bags to keep my purse somewhat organized. I use one for lip balm, tissues, and hand sanitizer. I loved seeing what you travel with and how much thought you put into what you keep. I’d love to see more of this type of videos!!
I, too, collect makeup bags - I just love the sizes, patterns, companies they're from and they can be so cute and helpful! I see some of yours I would love despite probably having about 50 of my own. Good job, Jessica🤗💜
I also love to keep clear makeup bags for small toys to put in my purse for my kids. Great video!!!
Same here! Hoping she does a restock. I found similar ones but for nearly 3x the price
Allie posted in her description box that she's doing a pre-order in July and restock on August on the bags
I haven’t seen them at all but am interested in them can someone share the link with me on here if Jessica hasn’t already please.
I almost ordered when they use launched like were in my cart and decided to budget and pass... been regretting and waiting for the restock ever since lol.
I don’t travel often but I figured they might come in handy for me organizing for now
I just did this same re~org/ declutter project myself about 1~2months ago.
“I’m going to miss you bag.” 😂
I loved the little update on Pinocchio! I was worried about him. I'm so glad he's feeling better!
This is like an exposé on all the different types of makeup bags on the market. Kinda jealous of your collection, keep it all, I wont judge you.
When giving these bags away, you should hit up the dollar store (dollar tree is close to me) and fill it with women’s and men’s products and hand them out to ppl who need it! Socks, razors and shaving cream, toothpaste toothbrush, deodorant, etc! Lmk what u think?
I don’t think she should hand them out personally herself, but she could take them to a shelter and they would love to have them :)
Some styles I’ve never seen before. When we’re able to travel again, I’ll need to do some shopping. 💙
I am obsessed with Vera Bradley! And the Vera/Disney! 💜 I will take them all!
I remember when you got that drawstring makeup bag because I ordered one on amazon after seeing yours. 😊I love it and it’s the only travel makeup bag I use now.
When you go to Disney in a few weeks can you please do a pack with me? They’re my favorite!
Yes I do declutter my makeup bags. I usually put some makeup products in them and give to a family member or friend.
You have such a soothing way about you, it like exhaling when you didn’t know you were holding your breath. Thank you 💜
This kind of video from you is what I live for!!!
The orange one will be nice like a summer clutch bag. I use the small ones in my hand bag for different purposes (papers...). And also for traveling with kids for crayons and felt pens etc.
I love your videos & vlogs!! It’s like having a conversation with a friend.
I use the small makeup bags in my purses to hold lipsticks and etc.
Me too! Nothing just sits in my purse. It's all in individual bags.
I love small bags they’re very useful (and not just for makeup). Loved this video ❤️
Love watching you declutter. You always inspire me to get rid of more stuff I don't use or need. Thanks for sharing Jess. 💕💕💕💕
Not only do I travel quite a bit but due to health issues I'm in the hospital a lot and I love makeup bags for a little bit of everything. I use them to organize everything and I know I have way to many but they are so handy for stuff other than makeup.

That by that opens up and lays flat can be great for legos or smaller toys, even to use around the house
Who knew decluttering makeup bags would be so satisfying.
You motivate me to clean and organize every time you post one of these videos!!! Never think it's too long and boring... I'm putting you on pause for the times you are faster than me! 😆😂

Great declutter! I too have an odd amount of makeup/travel bags. I use them for everything, I have one for hair, makeup, face wash, medicines, etc.

Loved this! I am here for anything you want to declutter. 🙌💚💙💜

This is such a good idea. I have accumulated so many make up bags throughout the years that are just taking up space.. can't even close the drawer all the way. Thanks for the inspo! :)

Makeup bags are my kypronite lol I tend to use them a lot for general storage around the house too xx

Very cool! Great idea to separate things out.
Watching listening to our thunderstorm. Loud with complete downpours. I have a bunch of makeup bags. I keep getting more with things or as gifts. I keep and when family, friends, my daughter want one, I twll them go in the drawer and take what they want.
I love the hanging cosmetic bags best! I love collecting them as well 😬
When I lived in the US I subbed to Ipsy for about 6 months. They send you a cheapie makeup bag every month with your samples. I use the ones that held up for my jewlery, my makeup brushes, and to keep my chargers together when my husband and I travel back to the States to visit my family.
I did a declutter of makeup bags last summer before I moved into my new place.
For the broken zipper, take it to your dry cleaner's/tailor, and they can probably fix it. :)
That's a great idea!! I didn't know that. Thanks!
Another comment, because you should keep that bag, Jess! 😬
Usually shoe repair can do it as well.
That one bag that's tan that had the elastic it it to hold brushes you could use for makeup and use the small elastic part for your lipsticks and concealers and anything that size
I would love to see your take on Emily Noel's Sephora fantasy cart 😁.
I have a thing for makeup bags and this was fun to watch! I’d love an updated video on packing makeup and skincare with your bags...for future travels❤️
Omg. Your yard is gorgeous!!!
I recently did this actually! I had a couple of old bags that were completely falling apart and finally got rid of them
I loved this video! Love travel/packing videos!
Thank you, for making this live. You so didn't have to cut into your weekend like that. It's very much appreciated. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday. 💜
Hahahaa that Tomorrowland mug!! I bought the Soarin’ one for my birthday (my favorite new ride) but want like... 6 more.
I loved seeing this! My best makeup bag is a plastic one I got from the dollar store in 2007 lol
