- Whoever had the idea to come up with this event deserves a medal. You take the world's best touring car drivers and the world's best cars and set them loose for two races at Monza, in Italy.

The results: spectacular, chaotic action and a sensational victory for Paul Radisich and Ford, which perhaps better illustrates the competitiveness of Andy Rouse's team more than the chaos which enveloped the team at Donington some time later. I went to the 94 one at Donington Park - Only one race though that year. There is footage of it on UA-cam but never found it on DVD.
A download I have bought a few years ago, very enjoyable. Pity the video is not very long. A golden era of Touring Car racing, a golden era of cars.

Great win & Ford should have put full commitment with ARE post years the whole west Surrey racing thing was ridiculous & then finally DR taking every penny possible available.
For me Rouse was Ford through n through & history between the two should of resulted in further years working together.
