You can tell from these old interview clips that Chris was always the most media-savvy member of the band and the one with the leadership skills. Geoff was quieter, and Michael and the other guys hardly ever said anything. Aside from being a great guitarist, songwriter, and back-up vocalist (who else can harmonize with Geoff like Chris?), Chris seemed to be the personality of the band. I hope he'll play with the band again soon!

I guess because we (group of QR fans) are from Northern CA we always felt a connection to the Seattle bands and they did write a song about their home...Jet City Woman! Seattle always produced unique music.

The true talent of the Northwest was this band....before Nirvana....great writing....great harmonizing and best of all great songs. I know friends of mine whom I have introduced this band to them...and they just cant get enough....and they are not even big rockers.....they just love the sound. And what can you say about Scotty...one of the best drummers of all time.

I know that they played to a click-track on this tour, but I synchronized the audio from the 15th, and The Thin Line matched up perfectly.
Jet City Woman doesn't match up to the audio, so that's definitely from the 14th.

Geoff Tate and Chris DeGarmo are the best writing Duo I would say.
    But
Warrel Dane and Jeff Loomis are also my Favorites.. The Depth that Warrel writes and the shear Level He Pours His Soul Out with Every Note in Sanctuary, Nevermore, and his first Solo album .. Are Amazing..
    Albums
    SANCTUARY - BATTLE ANGLES
    and INTO THE MIRROR BLACK
    Then Evolved Exponentially with.
    NEVERMORE - NEVERMORE
, DREAMING NEON BLACK , and DEADHEART ... AND the rest .. Incredible
Beyond Within , The Lotus Eaters , Deconstruction, Battle Angels , Ophidian , to many to list...
Queensryche and Nevermore .. Awesome !
Producer - Neil Kernon ! Is one of the Best Producers...

Interesting that they are often over-looked out of all the talent that has come out of Seattle.
