For those who were wondering about his capacity to speak french, Glen has worked in Montreuil studios (where I work to day, even if now it's Ubisoft studios :P). Tarzan has been animated here. He went with his family in Paris for some years. His children have studied here too and are also able to speak french. For ONCE I wish I was a bit older. I feel like I've missed something. The golden age is finished, WD Studios are gone. Sad :( During my lunch break I sometimes think about Glen, passing through Montreuil's street. I will never be able to cross his way there now T_T
You be got my admiration and felt thankful working with you on Tarzan during 4 years Always talented and humble as the assistant Thank you, I ve changed my life 😊
For once that it's in the other way. This exhibition was in my city, Paris. It's a REAL pleasure for me to see ONE interview in french *_* I wonder how it is to see almost everything translated in your own language (english) when everybody who's not an english speaker has no other solution than to learn english. It has to be really relaxing...
@TheMarcolas21 I knew he worked in Paris but didn't know he picked up the language, it was kinda surprising and interesting watching him speak French. I guess I'm just so used to his American English interviews and podcasts and this interview just hit me like a brick, haha. Will be eagerly waiting for the sub if you could get it up :)
@MarcusTJL It's a very hard work to do (subtitles) but I'm thinking of it. Keane spend a couple of years working in Paris for Disney Animation Montreuil. he did Tarzan here in France.

Pour une fois, je suis heureuse d'être française!^^ Glen Keane est vraiment un animateur exceptionnel!
Thank you so much for this, also for the translation, he's my idol
Ah, if only I understood French. Any chance there'll be English subtitles for this interview? Never knew Glen Keane could speak French :)
@darkoweed j'susi d'accord avec toi =) c'est géniale qu'il parle français dans cette interview =D
Yesh!!! Thank you English subber guy/gal !!!!!!!
Je suis presque tombée de ma chaise quand il a commencé à parler français. Je savais pas qu'il pouvait. Il est plutot bon.

OMG yes! He speaks french like meeh!!!
Animation of Beast in the ballroom was animated by James Baxter, not Glen Keane.
I didnt know he spoke french!!! :D
the scene with beast dancing at the begining, its actualy made by James Baxter isnt it?
yep.
@@paulgabel8261 YES BUT HE'S SYCH A SLUT THAT HE'LL TAKE CREDIT FOR IT.
Haha, it's funny, because I can understand him but not most native French. His limited vocabulary is similar to mine.
I'd hate to say it but this is so useless to American viewers. Someone needs to get on the subtitles, quick.
