There are only links to addons. There is NO way to download a cakewalk installer. Just some freaking bandlab assistant asking a ton of question and taking you nowhere. This is either a scam, an online tool, or just made a very complicated way to install software. Thanks for waisting my time .Thumbs down for adding Cakewalk to the video
I'm learning both T7 and Cakewalk right now. T7 is very nice and easy so far. Cakewalk can be very very confusing at first when you are recording audio, comping, using time stretch, and setting up a tempo map so that the audio goes along with any tempo changes. I typically will speed up a song at the end, by 5-10 BPM. Audio Snap, and the audio snap palette in particular took a lot of time to understand and master. Hopefully I'm past that now and everything else will be easy.
What I did. I got audacity. I got a cheap usb mic, either a blue yeti or audio technica. Get a pop filter and some headphones. Use a UA-cam to mp3 to get beats. Put them on audacity then you just record over it, and there’s ways to mix vocals too on there too.

I hear a lot of people that are just starting out trying to get the best recording software out there, but if you don't have a handle on things....like if you can't mix your tracks properly or don't know how to adjust your reverb tastefully, then it's completely pointless spending money on a high-end software.
